“We were driving by at lunch time and noticed a full parking lot so we thought we’d give it a try. What a hoppin’ place! The Thursday special was 3 pcs of fried catfish with fries, coleslaw, pinto beans, hush puppies & a drink for about $12. It was plenty for 2 of us to split! The staff were all super friendly, the service was fast and the food was delicious. Definitely stop and give it a try if you’re in the area.“

“I enjoy Chesters Chicken so getting a couple of chicken strip or a box dinner for the road is nice. Directly off the I-30 EXIT 46, makes for easy access. Clean restrooms and even a sitting area. This place is a truck stop but is a neat little store to stretch your legs and let the kids out on a long trip. They offer a made-to-order menu with burgers, salad, Phillies and wraps. The burgers are delicious and the food is fresh.“

“An excellent choice if you like made from scratch local diners! I had the ham, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich and asked if they would substitute the mashed potatoes and white gravy for the fries since it was lunch time? They happily obliged. My husband had the western omelet with toast and grits. I’m a sweet tea critic and it was great! The restaurant is clean and the local after church crowd rolled in about 12:10 always a good sign in my books❣️ OTR truck drivers steadily made their way in as well. VERY reasonably priced especially in this day of high restaurant prices. The restaurant as well as the bath room were very clean.Vegetarian options: My husband had the western omelet all veggies.Parking: Large free lot for parking all sizes/types of vehicles, we were traveling in a small motor home and pulled right up to the door.Kid-friendliness: Several families with children happily dining while we were there.Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level.“

“My brothers and I ate there yesterday, we got the special BBQ sandwich meal...it was really good and plenty of food in each serving...you definitely get your money's worth...I love the fact that they still grill the hamburger buns...I hope they do it on their hamburgers...cause that is probably what we get next!! Can't wait to try the banana pudding!!!“
