“It was really my first time going here and giving this place a try and I was absolutely satisfied this food was so satisfying I would have to give it five stars plus I would most definitely recommend this to any family because the prices or absolutely satisfying as well !??Parking: Plenty of parking there would be no question on accessibility to with great hospitalityKid-friendliness: The owner is a family who has shown my son good hospitality has always giving him good advice and at any given time he would offer my son something to drink....“
“Very good experience with the dining room opening back up. Waitress was good, food for most part was good. I got a roll with my greens...I wanted cornbread that they make. My son had salmon plate which he loved. Dining Room looks excellent!“
“This place holds a special place in my heart. The owner is amazing. I'm proud to call him a friend. I've been a fan of this restaurant going on 20 years now. I would go here with my mom around Christmas and then go look at the lights. Mom's been gone for years now. But the nostalgia is still there. Food is amazing. Great BBQ made by a great family.“
“There are several really great barbecue places in the area, but after my first visit to Wrights, I have a new favorite. We timed it just right for a late lunch so there was no wait. The brisket is the best I ever had. It was so tender and smoked to perfection. The potato salad was definitely a good choice. The decor was casual-barbecue with a huge TV. Staff was friendly and helpful. We are already planning our next trip back“
“Excellent, everything the service, flavor of the food, and cleanliness of the restaurant. The owner was our cashier, and our server was attentive and friendly. Traveler from STL for family and searched good for a down home southern meal. The yams and smoked chicken make you wanna slap ya mama, juicy and moist 1/2 chicken with two sides for $16. Can’t beat that price, the greens cooked perfectly, tender and well seasoned. Don’t forget the sweet potato pie, my gosh I scraped the plate. Almost licked it ?. Definitely give them a try.“
“We had our first “Christmas Party” tonight and my first experience at Whole Hog Cafe…we weren’t disappointed at all. The food was GREAT, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. Thank you for putting up with our semi loud group. I say hands down it’s a 5 ⭐️ experience for me.“
“First time visiting this wonderful establishment. The meat was very flavorful and tender, ribs fell off the bone. We ordered brisket and ribs, sides were yams, bbq beans and potato salad. The beans were ok and the yams were tasty, the potato salad was good as well. Great atmosphere and customer service. Clean restrooms. We felt that our money was very well spent and look forward to returning again.“
“Always good food. Had to wait about 10 minutes on a Sunday around 6PM which was fine. Service is friendly as always. Steak was cooked how I likeIt; crispy on the outside and medium rare on the inside. It’s nowhere near fine dining whatsoever but that’s not what TRH is about; it’s good steaks at a good price!“
“RailYard is ?????! Food is absolutely delicious! I love the fish sandwich and the cheesesteak quesadilla. They have homemade desserts which are super tasty. Don’t forget about those adult beverages!!! Open mic comedy show on Wednesday and Singo (remix of Bingo) on Thursday is so much fun. The RailYard staff is super friendly and attentive! I feel like family whenever I’m there. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE place to eat and be merry!!“
“Spontaneous stop turned into one of the better bbq sliced pork sandwiches I’ve ever had. Swimming in a spicy not too vinegary bbq sauce & cold slaw with whole bits of jalapeños - I’ll drive out of my way to get another sandwich soon! This is a hole in the wall old Dairy Bar with a full bbq menu & smokehouse in the back.“
“We were driving through Little Rock and wanted to try a local place. The meatloaf was good and the pulled pork was good too(not fatty like some places!). They were out of lots of sides that sounded yummy, like baked squash or cornbread, at 1:30 so get there early if you want to try those. I liked the jalapeño cornbread but my husband wasn't a fan. We both thought the coleslaw was good. It is shredded very fine so if you like some oomph to yours pick a different side. The interior is quaint, ceiling is a bit dusty. The employees were nice too.“
“Grabbed a quick snack here during the week. It was after lunch so it wasn't too crowded, too about 5 min for the sandwhich. It is a relatively small sandwhich though and doesn't come with anything else. For $7-8, good amount of turkey, buttery bread, lettuce. I also tried a small apple pie, it was ok but not a reason I'd go. All around, good sandwhich and I'll definitely go back to try something else when I'm around the area.“
“This place is a hidden gem! I wanted something different for lunch than my usual go to places, so I googled lunch places near me, and thankfully this place showed up at the top of the list, and it was right by me near the airport. When arriving the smell alone will guide you to this amazing place, pretty cool walk up restaurant where you're greeted by a smile and more amazing smells. I went with the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and potato salad... I was going to take a pic, but I couldn't hold myself back from devouring it and not wanting to put it down. Well worth the price, and also worth a drive across the entire county if you're not near the airport, but thankfully I am, and I'll for sure be back!Parking: Gravel lot wrapping around the front and side. Plenty of parking and off a very low traffic road. Easy entry and exit.“
“hey guys, I was there last Saturday night and I just wanted to say the ribs, the pulled pork and the half chicken was fire. I grew up with my dad doing comp bbq in the 70-80's and I'm a bit of a bbq snob. you guys are doing great things! also, the band you had, 2 guys from Bearden or Fordyce, you gotta get them back! they are amazing!“
“I have loved every single food item I have ordered from this place. The most recent time I ordered the piggy pie? It was a Frito chilly pie and my tastebuds were so happy. the service is always amazing and fast, though it can take some time for the food to come out, it's BBQ, and its typically packed. The servers and workers always have a smile on their faces. The restaurant is always clean and neatly decorated I love dinning in every time i go.“
“I'm not sure where to start. First, I will say it's cash only so come prepared. Or do as we did, and go up to the gas station and use the ATM, worth it. Next. Let's start with the atmosphere. I feel like I just walked into my mom's kitchen and am treated like it, too. They are friendly, matter-of-fact, charismatic neighbors. The locals eating here were sociable and giving us a good conversation. A review from 2004 calls this place "the little place in the woods." And that is the perfect description. It is what some would call a "hole in the wall." It's what I call best damn BBQ I've ever had. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The bbq sauce is savory, sweet with a dash of a spice. The beans. I always wonder why beans are such a big deal. No longer. They were flavorful and delicious! The coleslaw was better than my grandmother's recipe. And now we get to the fried pie. Oh my. I had an out of the world experience. We shared one piece then procedes to order 2 more. The dough was fluffy, flaky, crispy, and soft. All-in-one. We choice not to sprinkle with cinnamon sugar because I'm not a cinnamon person, but I think I would've been a changed woman. I can't wait to come back on a Tuesday for ribs!“
“This is some of the best BBQ in Arkansas. I've tried a lot of places but they don't have the variety along with quality like Platinum BBQ. The service matches as well. I had cabbage and greens for the sides and both were seasoned well and cooked amazingly. I also had smoked sausage, beef, beef ribs, oxtail and pork ribs. Now let's be real. The amount of food you get for the price is absolutely worth it! ALL The BBQ WAS SMOKED TREMENDOUSLY AND WAS SOOOO TENDER. If you want good BBQ this is the place to go. They are having smoked lamb next week and I am going.“
“This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a great meal. If you have a taste for some good BBQ or a unique salad, this is one of many locations.Highly recommend for all local and visitors alike!Vegetarian options: Salads are great with or without the choices of meats.Parking: See above.Kid-friendliness: Children may be a little messy but will enjoy the food.Wheelchair accessibility: You will be able to access the dinning room per federal requirements.“
“The best bar-b-que around! We know Texas bar-b-que and they know how to cook it. Best chicken, ribs and pulled pork you will find. The catfish is the best around town too! This is owned by great people that want to make the best food for you!“
“Let me start by saying that this food is fire! Ray is the chef behind the food! The Mac n cheese is a work of art. There are many other wonderful yummy things that this man can offer all week, too! The little roadside building doesn't offer much as far as seating, but it's packed with a friendly chef and folks filling orders. They stay busy, so make sure you call it in or prepare to wait. The wait is well worth it!“
“I’ve dined in and done take out. Food is phenom. Service is good. Would like a little more flexibility to mix and match on the menu (for example a 2-meat/side option (they have a 3-meat/side option or a limited 2-meat/side option and a few more sides options). It’s a tiny complaint to an otherwise GREAT BBQ place. I see why they went from a food truck to a brick & mortar store. This place is definitely worth your time and hunger!Parking: If you hit it during a rush parking can be a little difficult.Kid-friendliness: It’s got a “sports” bar, and adult beverages, but it’s very much family oriented.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Nuff said.“
“The waitress Cassie was the best. When told what the specials were, chicken spaghetti, tamales with chili and queso or meatloaf.I said Yes! she said I can take care of that. The house salad was delicious, the dressings were house made. The food was exceptional and the price was a bargain for the portion sizes. If you are in the area, or if your not it is worth the drive to Scott.“
“These lil Asian ladies really capture the old time dairy bar feel with their burgers etc! I was so surprised how the taste of the food took me back to remembering my childhood days when my siblings & I couldn't wait to go to our neighborhood dairy bar & dive in! As Arnold Schwarzenegger says "I'll be back" !!???“
“Bottomless warm bread and butter is so hard to say no to, but we had to in order to save room for the big serves of food we had just ordered. We ordered the large filet with a loaded potato and salad. I love that your salad is served before the steak and potato. I was worried about no steak gravy was on offer but I shouldn't have been. Both the steak and the potato where tender and full of flavour. In hindsight I should have ordered the smaller steak but i have no regrets. My husband also ordered the broccoli and mac and cheese for us to share. I would definitely order them again as well.“
“This place has become one of my family’s favorite spots in town. We’re grateful that Ben and the team decided to take a chance and open up in Sherwood! The Turkey is always phenomenal, the brisket is some of the best around and the service cannot be beat.“
