“Small place with really good food“

“I checked the menu before we went so I was happy it was not different when we arrived. I had the Jungle Fried Tofu lever 2 spice with Jasmin Rice and Tai Tea. My daughter had Pad Sew with chicken level 1.The dishes were so good that we already were deciding for our next visit.Vegetarian options: Veggie dishes and Tofu protein“

“So the gal at the front desk was as sweet as can be. I have to say that. But however, I was driving over and was calling in my order. I was literallyon the phone with a ringing tone for five minutes and 41 seconds. No one answered. I got to the desk with my phone still in a ringing fashion and I asked the girl what the correct phone number was because I thought I had it wrong. she told me that I didn't have the correct number and then she was busy waiting on tables and sending out food. There were four tables of people eating however, I think she needs a little help with the front desk. It's not her fault but she didn't answer the phone and I had to wait when I got here for my takeout food. ..... it was so efficient when I got here. I only had to wait five minutes for my food. Which was awesome. But I think she needs more help if she can't answer the call and order.“

“I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. First, my wife loves First Watch, so if there's one anywhere we visit, we go. Our waitress, Barbie (I could've swore it was Barbra, but my wife told me I was wrong) was an absolute 10. There were some jokes about my shirt from my family which made me turn red and she chimed in with wit as sharp as a tac. Her food recommendations were spot on and she had all sorts of interesting random facts. Incredibly personable.The teamwork and customer service of this place is amazing as is the food. If you're on the fence, just go.“

“This is a very interesting roadside restaurant. It reminded me of a place you would see in a movie. It has a rustic appearance inside and out. I stopped in for lunch. The food was great. I had a hamburger and onion rings, both were probably some of the best I have ever had. The waitress was friendly and she made sure we were taken care of.“

“It seems to be one of the only places you can go eat and drink without emptying every pocket. Sometimes service takes a while, but we never go when we're in a rush. It's so nice to sit and chill. The place is comfurtable, the people are nice. And honestly I rather have slower service because one or two people are working and taking care of the entire place, then seeing 7 servers on and standing around. They obviously want their people to make money. So, for that reason I respect the hussel those workers have. We honestly love it there !“

They took off Sweet and Sour Chicken, thank God Stephanie could still order it. One of our favorites. Manager Kin Chan stopped by. Yery nice . Explained some of our concerns about the confusing menu. “Pretty darn good food, nice table and bar, clean bathrooms. Like other reviewers said, the service is a little slow. We were there with maybe 4 other people in the restaurant. My 2 friends got their plate that they shared, I had to wait another 10 minutes or so for mine. But I enjoyed every bite once I got it.“

“Ordered the $5.50 lunch special at the Anthem location of a slice of pizza (sausage) and green salad. The salad was amazing, fresh and generous. The thin crust pizza slice was good sized and the sausage was very generous, along with ample amount of cheese and good seasonings. The price is awesome! Sat outside near the bar, server was efficient and pleasant, and enjoyed a visit from the cute road runner mascot!“

“I think the servers were having some kind of party or something and were all very distracted from their customers. My drink stayed empty for a period two times and our server only checked on us twice after we ordered our food and a different server came to take our order. Other than that the food and atmosphere were great!“

“The Barro's on Dove Valley, in the Fry's shopping center is FAR superior to the one in Anthem. This one puts plenty of toppings on, and the Anthem store hardly puts ANY on, even when you order extra! I will be coming to the Dove Valley Barro's from now on!“

“BEST New York style pizza in Arizona! Our family has been driving down from Prescott AZ for over 10 years. This is our favorite pizzeria outside of NYC and Venice Italy. Nothing strange but the best crust, sauce and cheese. Great family owned and they love what they made and serve. We have tried So many pizzerias in Arizona but we come straight back to Rays every time.“
