“Beautiful boutique hotel; the grounds are so well maintained and well don; its like staying in a garden. And the restaurant, Lon's is too notch. Food is excellent and most amazing patio in Phoenix. Love the outside fireplaces.“

“El Chorro is a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous outdoor seating under big trees and fireplaces. The service by Joseph S. was outstanding. The menu didn't have enough choices for me and my husband. We would have preferred more fish and seafood. Same for the dessert menu, we would have liked a lighter healthier choice of berries for example. The prices were high. No entree under $40. The Chilean sea bass special was $68! I had the starter “crab and tuna stack” as entree, as I don't eat big portions anymore (I'm 75). The stack was good but very small. Half the plate was covered in salty chips. My husband's salmon was way too salty. Two nights ago I was here with 2 girlfriends. I had the Trout Almondine, excellent. One person had the beef tenderloin, very good. The other person had the “signature dish” beef stroganoff. It was very bland! I would still recommend El Chorro because of the ambience and service, and for certain dishes. Hopefully my comments are constructive feedback for improvements.“

“I LOVE Uniq Burger!! These are the best plant based burgers that I have ever had! We drive 40 min to eat here and it's so worth it! The Southwest Burger is my favorite as well as the chick'n nuggets and french fries! The staff is extremely nice and they are always so welcoming. Their vanilla ice cream and cheesecake bites are so delicious and I still can't believe it's all vegan! Amazing!“

“Best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had! I’ve had Ethiopian food all over the country and this is by far the best. I just arrived from Los Angeles and was trying to find a place to eat dinner and saw this restaurant pop-up so decided to try it and was not disappointed at all! The staff were so nice and the food tasted amazing. As a vegan, it can be hard to find vegan options, but this place had many options and they were all labeled. Would highly recommend!“

I was returning from a hiking trip, exhausted, and didn't really have any expectations. The servers and others who work here are very friendly, which contributed to a positive atmosphere even if the eating area inside is tiny. I had ordered take-out, and the server brought me a cup of ice cream and a bottle of water while I was waiting. Their their bakes are delicious, fresh and consistent- Paul Hollywood would approve! A gem in Phoenix! The cheese pita is amazing, better than anything even back home in the old country. Their čevapi with lepinja are my dad's favorite, and their kifle remind him of his childhood. This place deserves a stop for anyone doing a food tour of Phoenix, it's right up there with Bianco.“

“We came for Arizona restaurant week. My husband and I had the scallops with risotto & asparagus. I choose asparagus soup as the starter which was very good and my husband choose the Ceasars salad which was very good and probably big enough to share. The main course came with 7 scallops- I took two home in a box & had them for lunch. The risotto was creamy & nicely seasoned. We had our choice of mini deserts. I had the turtle cheesecake - so yummy & just enough. We will be back.“
