Skip the casino food and go sit down in this little cozy eatery Complaints to the chef for keeping it authentic I’ll definitely go back the next time I’m in town Laura and Daryl”

The sauce on the angel hair pasta was changed and I did not care for it. Please go back to the old recipe. Service was spot on as always. Still my favorite restaurant.”

“Enjoyed my birthday dinner at The French Connection Cafe & Lounge. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I have never had anything like that before and it was excellent. I grow chili peppers and the level of spice in that dish was perfect! This is the only place in town that has MEAD on the menu! They do it straight or in mixed cocktails. I had two of their mead cocktails and they couldn't have been any better, especially the sour notes. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend this place.”

“This wa my first time eating Indian food and I wasn’t sure what to expect. There is a full service bar when you walk in the door. Once seated we were given the most beautiful menu I have ever seen. The host and waiter spent time answering questions and my meal was made according to my heat tolerance. We enjoyed delicious chicken and lamb dishes with rice and naan bread. I feel the prices were reasonable at about $13 an item. Clean relaxing atmosphere. We were not rushed through our meal. I had a really nice dinner and will definitely go back. I hope this restaurant sticks around for a while.”

We have dined at many of the big chef star restaurants across the country and find Black Bear Bistro holds it's own a a pleasant albeit a more casual venue which certainly is worth visiting and enjoying the easy ambiance.”

“We showed as a party of 5 for Christmas Dinner. We ordered everything wanted from the menu. They were very accommodating. We had tea , hot sake and water. The service was excellent thank you. To the chef thank you the food was amazing. I haven't had sweet and sour pork like that since I was younger. The food was amazing. I could just keep going on,but, if you get within an hour drive of this place it's worth the detour. I just m8ght drive the 2 and a half hours for Chinese food this good! Thank you!”

This seems to be a trend with most McDonald's as they give drive-thru customers priority. What a shame. We are all seniors who love McDonald's but not their service.”

“Finally made a visit to Cocktails and hate that we waited so long. The atmosphere, especially with the patio is cozy and comfortable. The staff amazingly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The drinks were fantastic - Mia Tia and 16oz draft was perfect. The food was mind blowing delicious. The pork tacos with homemade salsa has a flavor that just explodes in your mouth. However, our favorite was definitely the turkey cranberry melt on the ciabatta special with homemade potato salad. Honestly can't wait to visit again and highly recommend!”

The teriyaki with the fresh soft&sweet pineapple was hard to put into words other then Delicious! I had some bacon and a few hot peppers as well, if you are a fan of sweet & spicy that ended up taking it over the top. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff, everything came out just right. I will definitely be a repeat customer, I think others will you need to just give it one shot! Forgot to mention, the price is right!”

The girl couldn’t have been more than 13 years old and she had an attitude because I gave her four dollars in cash and I told her that I left a tip on my credit card as well and she gave me the biggest stink guy like she was irritated with me so since we hiring underage kids to work for them”
