“This is the nicest bistro type establishment in the tri-state area. We like it as an impromptu or for a planned nice place to just enjoy. Appetizers are to die for, Kay is so enamored with the crab cakes she just doesn't try any thing else. I have tried several and have been pleased with every one. Service is outstanding and we are particularly fond of Jessica. We have dined at many of the big chef star restaurants across the country and find Black Bear Bistro holds it's own a a pleasant albeit a more casual venue which certainly is worth visiting and enjoying the easy ambiance.”

“Karina’s Mexican Kitchen catered our backyard birthday/pool party yesterday for 25 guests. They setup an amazing “taco bar”. Plenty of great food and drinks, including warming trays, paper plates, napkins, utensils, veggies, condiments and the price was very reasonable. Our guests were very pleased.”

“I am a huge fan back 60 years living in Chicago, as a 6th grade schooler some of us got to go to Burger King for lunch on Fridays if one's parents could afford it, back then you could get a Whopper with cheese, fry and milkshake for 59 cents. Always said when I got older I'd eat a Whopper everyday, lol, it is so disappointing to see Burger King charge 80 cents more for a cheese Whopper, how do you justify 80 cents? On television it shows two pieces, actually it's one and sometimes a half and still charges 80 cents, McDonald's does it similar, fish comes with a half slice, ask for a full slice they charge 60 cents for a full piece? Where's my credit for the half slice that already comes with the sandwich? It is disgraceful just to make a bigger buck and screw the American People”

“was really good the first time there the second and third not so great and actually got sick two times. although I shouldn't have gone because I forgot that bullhead had water problems so I figure I got sick from them not being sanitary. The service is only good there with certain servers. I have been completely ignored and and I can't get up and get more drinks for myself. The owner wasn't there and I had to keep bothering the two who were making sushi,in fact they had to keep coming out to help. So. idk if I'll be back or if I would even recommend anymore. They defiantly did not make it right for me all times I went back and tried again to give another chance. Food poisoning is not good !!!”

The bartender and she recommended maybe coming back on saturday night which I will do other than that.I have no complaints.Drinks were good didn't eat.”

The decor just screams high class! We have missed coming but we are glad that it’s back! It is more of a Mexican food store. Their motto sums it up: “Homemade Same Day Cooked Goods”. It’s somewhere BETWEEN a store and a restaurant. Don’t make the mistake I did by Googling a local Mexican restaurant, driving all that distance to get there, only to find out it isn’t a restaurant at all. Consider this a Public Service Announcement. The four stars given represents their average review rating so as not to hurt them too bad (I have to leave a rating so as to leave this message). I’m sure they are very good at what they do, but it is not a traditional restaurant.”

Our waitress has been Destiny most times. Drink orders taken quickly and n salsa provided. Destiny has answered questions about the menu and what is included. Food comes out pretty quickly and hot. So far each meal we have ordered has been very tasty. I like to try new items each time.”

Also, I just want to point out something that made me think twice, why are people complaining about the employees if they worked so hard to make other people's food and complaining about the restaurant? I would see people giving stank eyes as soon as they step inside the restaurant. This manager, Joanna, she's really nice and so sweet, please be respectful to her because she has worked all day and night and I just know she's really exhausted from working.”
