“I love BBQ!! The problem with most places is their sides are weak. This place is absolutely the BEST BBQ restaurant I have ever eaten at. From the meats to the sides to the dessert's, I could not recommend this place more! I wish I could give them 10 stars. Cody the owner was super friendly. This is our new go to in cave creek!“
“Excellent lamb chops. Went here for the first time. Tuesday around 7pm. They were busy but No wait. Seated immediately. Prompt service, friendly waitress who suggested the lamb chops. Atmosphere was very pleasant. This was 5 stars. Perfect experience.“
“This looks like a very lively place in the evening, and a GREAT place to relax with a sandwich and a beer! Large dance floor I'm sure is packed on the weekends with live music daily. We visited for lunch on a Friday, when fried whitefish was the special. DELICIOUS! Friendly staff and great food selections make this a good place to stop while in Carefree,AZ!“
“Know that this is quaint before you go. I go for the food, which is very good. I had the Navajo taco and chicken/beef crispy tacos. All are very good but the Indian Taco I really like. It is on Indian fry bread, which is to my liking. Fast takeout service is a plus. Mark“
“Cool location, bar is old and has a lot of character. Food was fresh and flavorful. I loved their pulled pork, it almost tasted like a mixture of a vinegar based sauce with Applewood smoke flavor. Cob salad was super balanced with ingredients and fresh and cold. Large patio area that is dog friendly“
“I can't believe I have driven past this place so many times to go eat somewhere else. Burgers are great here. Service was quick. Beers were cold. Live music. A lot of outdoor seating. Cave Creek eating on a patio during spring or fall is the best.“
“Excellent crepes, sweet ?, savory so many to choose from can’t go wrong with either. My favorite is the lemon curd with ever kind of berry you can think of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and fresh filling of heavenly lemon curd ?. My husband’s favorite is the club it has bacon ? chicken, tomato ? lettuce mozzarella cheese ?. My favorite is the chai ☕️ latte either vanilla or spiced. He is in love ?with the strawberry berrioska cocktail ? Don’t take my word for it just try it!“
“If in Cave Creek and you need a quick bite to eat, Big Earl's is your place. Great fast-food type menu selections, bar-drinks, and super friendly staff made our lunch a stand-out. While you wait, there is also a 1950's style candy store to pick out your vintage dessert. There are only a couple seats inside, so most seating is outside with much of it shaded. Seating choices are the most negative thing I saw if you prefer indoor air-conditioned dining. As for me, I'll stop here again and again.Parking: Parking at busy times could be a challenge here.Wheelchair accessibility: Because of the limited parking and terrain, parking and accessibility here could be a challenge. I'd recommend a pre-visit to see if persons with limited mobility would be comfortable here.“
“Corn chowder average. Hardly any corn. 3 out of 5 for taste.Posole excellent 4 out of 5. Perfect heat and flavor. Pieces of pork rather than pulled pork knocked down to 4 out of 5.Salmon was average 3 out of 5. Farm raised slight pink color.Stuffed chile relleno with shrimp was a 4 out of 5. Very good but served not very hot.“
“Best desserts ever! The food is great, cocktails and atmosphere too. But DO NOT leave without trying one or two desserts, even if you need to take them home for later! Great breezy place filled with strong beautiful staff. I know, weird comment, but betting you'll agree that it's just a positive vibe and you'll leave feeling better than when you arrived. Cheers!“
“A visit to the Raven's View is usually a tremendous experience however, our visit yesterday left a bit to be desired. The service and ambiance was excellent as usual. Destiny does a fantastic job and the view never disappoints. Unfortunately, the food seems to be going in the wrong direction. I had the chicken sandwich and it was very dry and almost uneatable. I would have sent it back however, not sure it would have mattered as the consistency of the food continues to be an issue.“
“The inside is gorgeous and very nicely decorated. We came on a Wednesday afternoon so it was not too busy. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We got the guacamole, pastor tacos and brisket enchiladas- all delicious and great portions for the price(not too small but not crazy huge). One of our new favorite places in the area, we will be back!!!“
“I had the chance to meet Bryan, the owner and culinary genius, behind this amazing hidden gem. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to. All the recipes used here are a special proprietary blend ingredients Bryan himself perfected over his years spent in the kitchen. Unfortunately for all us foodies out there, I'm sad to say he will be retiring quite soon. There will, however, be another BBQ pit taking over the location. They will be hard pressed to live up to the amazing food and great atmosphere Bryan's has provided Cave Creek over these past years. Bryan's will definitely be missed by this foodie.“
“?????In my hometown, amidst the hustle and bustle of daily chores and errands, there lies a magical portal named Papa Murphy’s, where culinary wizards craft enchantments in the form of pizza. On a quest to rescue dinner amidst a busy schedule, I turned to these sages online, navigating their tome of recipes with ease, casting my order into the ether. As the appointed time drew near, I approached the sanctuary of Papa Murphy’s, where the air was thick with the aroma of promised feasts. The keepers of the portal greeted me with smiles, handing me the treasure an exquisitely prepared pizza, swathed in secret sauces, blanketed with bountiful toppings, and resting on a doughy canvas, ready to be transformed in the fiery forge of my home oven. With the precious cargo secured, I hastened back to my abode where the ritual of baking transformed the raw creation into a golden masterpiece. As the final spell was cast and the kitchen filled with the spellbinding scents of molten cheese and toasted crust, we gathered at the table, eager to partake in the feast. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, every morsel a testament to the craft of the Papa Murphy’s wizards. Truly, this was not just a meal, but an adventure a quest wherein the ordinary act of dinner was turned into an extraordinary experience of joy and fulfillment.Papa Murphy’s had not only provided sustenance but had enchanted our evening with a touch of magic, making me ever grateful for their culinary prowess. A five-star quest, complete with dragons of flavor vanquished and treasures of taste unearthed!“
“I love their large selection of drink flavors and their rebels especially make me want to come back almost daily lol. The service is always great and I always feel like family when I’m either at the drive thru or the walk up and order. They always play a great playlist that makes me in a great mood for the day ahead of “
“This is a great casual place to enjoy well-prepared simple Italian food. Staff is helpful and great, ambience is very comfortable, taking us back in time. Slightly high on pricing, but typical for Scottsdale so a neutral. Since we started going there about thee months ago we've returned at least once a month and will continue to do so.“
“Our local go-to in the "Creek. Josh's Eggs Benedict with the cheese queso is fantastic. Val is our favorite server. He is utterly fantastic. Never bad meal here prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment.“
“First of all, I would like to say, I am a “CHICAGO GIRL” who loves her pizza.Oregano’s did not disappoint. We were headed to Cave Creek and I decided to do a search to look for a good restaurant to try.I read all the reviews and checked the menuout before I make my decision to go to Oregano’s.As soon as we entered the restaurant,we notice how CLEAN it was. A total must for me to dine at any restaurant. We were greeted with a smile from a bubbly waitress Jennifer that was dressed for the holidays. What a doll! She made our whole experience extra special. We ordered 18” One-O Pizza, antipasto salad, LS Big Rig, Garlic cheese Bread with marinara sauce and drinks. As Jenny was taking our order for four, she suggested to order a large antipasto saladInstead of individual salads. What a great tip.I mention to Jenny, I read the reviews and people were complaining about their pizza crust being burnt and I told her I did not want a burnt crust. She totally reassured me my crust would not be burnt. When our pizza came out to our table, it was perfection! The presentation of the antipasto salad was totally inviting and well balanced.During our meal we had a visit at our table from “Mr.Michael” the manager. He asked us if we were enjoying our food. I expressed to him how outstanding the pizza and antipasto salad was and I was a girl who knew my pizza. He was very engaging and we shared with him how pleased we were at our total experience at his restaurant. I would suggest to anybody who is reading this review to give them a try and see for yourself what a gem of a restaurant Oregano’s truly is here in Cave Creek. We will be definitely coming back and looking for Jenny to serve us again.“
“I've been coming here for last three years. The food is really good! The service as with all restaurants depends on the server, some are new and learning, some have been there a long time. All are great and everyone goes out of their way for you. If it's busy just have patience and enjoy the view or the music- the owners are awesome and the regulars are their for a reason- because it's like our real life "Cheers". if you get the chance, stop by and say hi and get ready to feel like home!“
“Finally made it here! Was delicious.Well marked gluten free items on the menu. Dairy took some asking. But there are some sides, that are dairy free as well.3 BBQ sauce choices. The baked beans were fantastic!Dietary restrictions: Gluten and Dairy free“
“This place is wonderful, super friendly and they serve cold draft beer! Since in AZ, draft beer seems to be hard to find...The food was delicious, quick and friendly service. We had an early dinner and it was great. We will probably come back to try breakfast. It's located in the Red Truck Plaza in Cave Creek in the back of the plaza. The vibe was 70's 80's rock posters and art. We liked it a lot.“
