“Best pastries ever! And lemonade - per Alejandro, my 7 year old nephew. We ordered an Elote croissant & the layers in the pastry were absolutely superb! You could smell the butter in both the cookie & croissant, a rareity here in the Valley. Perfect balance of sweetness in the chocolate chip cookie which is something I always look for. We cannot wait to go back. My nephew is looking forward to his “next day off” so he can also join. Thank you!“
“It's an In-n-Out Burger. They are all basically 5 stars. Great service, food made the way you ask for it, and the speed they can move a lunch crowd out is what every other fast food place should strive for. They hire motivated people who are polite and courteous. They greet you with a smile, double-check your order, and actually give you what you asked for minus any attitude. The state of fast food in this country has gotten so bad that we rarely eat anywhere except In-n-Out. My cardiologist won't be too happy, but he won't complain as I believe I pay his country club dues.Parking: Large lot, but at lunch you may need to be patient.“
“Best Frozen Yogurt out there! The owner is a super chill and down to Earth guy. Always taking care of people and it is always a great atmosphere in there. Never a bad experience there and the flavors are unreal. Big fan of the Pomegranate Tart!“
“This place is a gem complete absolute gem amazing workers, amazing food full-blown unbelievable this is not a chain even though there’s three of them, you can come here and you can know that you’re having fresh fresh amazing food!!!!!$$$$$$$“
“Chris was my server and he was amazing. Every single time I eat here, the servers are so sweet it’s pretty unreal. My food was amazing as always, I highly recommend the Bruschetta where you can pick 4 flavors. The Smoked Salmon + Pesto is my favorite❤️ Always a pleasant experience! And from open (11 AM-5 PM) is $24 bottles and $6 glasses of their wine!“
“Walked to the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed the experience sitting outside on the patio (although the traffic on University was noisy at times). The Carnitas Tacos were very good with the spicy pear and cream sauce while the side sweet potato fries were perfectly light and crispy. The tacos menu item came with two tacos--a third taco addition option would be nice. The Mushroom Melt was a coin flip. Kids menu items were good. There's also a nice beer list available with some local brews on tap.Service was attentive and accommodating. A very nice experience overall.“
“This place is in the center of such a great location. It might look small but once you go in it is perfectly fine. The staff was super friendly and even the customers were easy to interact with. They have really great tasting IPA’s and stouts. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.“
“Four peaks is one of the best breweries in AZ! We did a brewery tour with Carter and he was incredible. He was informative, funny, anecdotal, and engaging. The tour was one of the better brewery tours I’ve done. The staff at four peaks is always so friendly, and the food and beer are obviously incredible. We love four peaks!“
“Really good, especially the protein pancakes! We got the half and half, and I'm so full I won't have to eat for a week! Which is good, since it cost half of what I'd spend on groceries for a week! When reviews say it's pricey... Believe them. (But, really... What isn't any more? ??)“
“I know they can do better, but everything was just off this time around.Server forgot my drink order, then brings me the same as my friend, which I didn't want, then I was told they were out of the beer I wanted... So ordered something else and someone else delivered the drink, apologized for the confusion, asked what I originally wanted and when I mentioned it they said that they just tapped a new keg for the beer I originally wanted...We had a hair in our food. Sent it back. Then they charged for the extra beer they bought out in error. Will give them another shot, but wow that was less than I expected.“
“Parking was a little hard to find, but it was well worth the ramen, it was ...like REALLY good. Will totally be coming back again to try some other stuff. I got there signature bowl, not spicy, cause I'm a wuss. My girlfriend got the Tokyo bowl.We both walked away saying "we are 100% coming back!"“
“Unbelievably good. This is Matcha Heaven. Go now ! The tiramisu cake variation in the wooden box with Matcha is absolutely the best. The ice creams and the drinks are excellent. It’s pretty busy so be mentally ready to wait. The line moves quick as the folks are working really hard in this place. The most close to Japan you will get in Phoenix.“
“Me and my lady come here once in a while when we craving some Nashville hot chicken one of the best spots so far we always get the Sandwich & Tender and it comes with fries as well one of the best combo in our opinion would recommend to anyone who hasn't tried this place.“
“The wings, the Mac n Cheese, and the purple cake were absolutely delicious. This is not the same same vegan food we had 10 years ago. Everything is fresh and delicious, plus it’s healthy. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable about their menu, and the energy of the place was cheerful yet laid back. I highly recommend this restaurant and their food truck Trash Panda Vegan ?Vegetarian options: Everything in their menu is vegan. ?Parking: Free parkingKid-friendliness: Spacious spaceWheelchair accessibility: No steps, easy access“
“Been going here a couple times when I'm in the area. The workers here are very knowledgable and nice! Their drinks are amazing, my go to is the CPR with either regular boba or lychee jelly, but if you need help deciding, dont hesitate to ask one of the workers! It's just a nice store and atmosphere. Perfect place to study at because they offer WiFi!“
“This vegan food is so yummy and unique, with an ever changing menu, made with local and organic veggies. Some of my favorites are the cheesy sunflower mac, kale salad and green goddess potatoes made on Wednesdays. The oatmeal cookies were yummy. Housed in a cozy quiet courtyard with the sounds of water and surrounded by plants, it's the perfect place to eat lunch. They even sell local makers items and art! ?“
“I couldn’t believe it that it’s only $9.99! That’s for each of the menu they have. This is a fast food restaurant and when I came it was only for drive in, seems like they were renovating. It was real lobster by the way ? and pretty good! I’ll be back!“
“I was fortunate enough to eat here recently, and I loved everything about it! Super cute interior decoration, comfy seats, clean bathrooms, and the most AMAAAAAZING food! Our server was fast, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We went with a bunch of appetizers and ate them family-style, which I think is a great way to test everything out. We also did their soju flight and discovered the awesomeness of their pineapple-basil and wildberry infused flavors. We just missed their daily happy hour, but I'm excited to go back and try more of what they have to offer, especially their signature drinks.“
“Mmm… the photo does not do the experience justice. Groovy Snooze, in the heart of the city's student district, is a nice escape from the golf and cowboy hat-wearing folks closer to the city. Tempe is a land of nose-piercing progressivism, yet this place offers everything for the discriminating vegan or carnivore. For me, the delight was the habanero pork belly bacon - four spicy, thick bits of pig that balanced splendidly with the sweet pineapple upside-down pancakes. One serving was enough for me, and it was served in a creamy cinnamon sauce with a dollop of cinnamon butter in the middle. All so good! Our friendly waiter kept the coffee mugs and water glasses filled. It's a way better option than the chains, and the prices are around the same.“
“Wonderful beers with a mix of rotating taps and annual favorites. Tim and John are always smiling, and the entire place is dog friendly. Bring in food (tons of great options nearby, we've seen some folks have food delivered) or look for scheduled food trucks.“
“If there was a happy medium between Starbucks and Dutch Bros, it would be The Fix. It was my first time there, I loved the friendly and patient customer service. I got a small iced white mocha macadamia breve with half sugar, and it was very good! The coffee roast for the espresso itself was smooth, the drink was the right creaminess level, and the sugar level was good. There was a bit of a wait but as soon as I pulled up to the window and ordered, the turnaround for my drink was 1 minute tops! I will definitely be back to try more! ☕️?“
“Good food with a nice variety of menu items, great beer selection (both draft and in the cooler), and solid non-beer offerings in wine and cocktails. The dog-friendly patio is a great place to spend time almost all year round with complete shade along with fans, misters and heaters, depending on the season.“
“Interesting menu. Lots of different options, most very healthy sounding. Been here multiple times, almost always for brunch. Service and ambiance are great. The place is cute. The food is really good as well. Some of it is really healthy, some not so much but has great flavor (pasta, sandwiches). Recently we went for lunch in the middle of the week and got the Mexicali quinoa bowl and a Philly cheesecake sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were sooooooo good. The flavors were on point. The service was very speedy for being in the middle of lunch hour rush.“
“We love Pedal Haus! We brought two of our macaws to dinner with us tonight and Sam, Sydney, and Nina were so very friendly and accommodating. Sam brought our girls Gypsy and Noel a few French fries on the house! Fun atmosphere, kind employees, and fast service. The food is great too!“
“Amazing food, excellent service, and friendly staff. The soup dumplings here are one of my favorite foods in the valley. We keep coming back for the soup dumplings and the pineapple chicken, but the cumin chicken, lamb skewers, and everything else we’ve had are all top notch. Even when they are busy, they go above and beyond to make you feel taken care of and well fed.“
“Absolutely a staple in the community. Been following them since they had their store in Ahwatukee. Best local coffee shop around. No burnt beans here, unlike Starbucks. They truly care about ingredients and making great coffee. If you get an iced White Russian Mocha, you will not regret it.“
“Any time I've bene here, I have had a good experience. The espresso is tasty, the employees are all very kind and hardworking, and overall the vibe is very pleasant, super good 'coffee shop' feel. Super conducive to both studying or a carefree afternoon.“
“First time coming to Tempe. This was my choice for dinner our first night in town, boy did I choose right. Food was amazing, had the escargot, raw oysters, steamed clams, chicken fingers, and fried pickles. (I shared all these items with my party, I didn't eat it all myself lol.) The vibe was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better first night in Arizona. I'm already trying to figure out how I can go back before we leave.“
“The service here is amazing and they move the line quickly with a sense of urgency. Always friendly smiling faces and go out of their way to make sure they make your order correctly. For full transparency, I am not a fan of the coffee drinks. I have tried them all and just can't seem to find the right flavor or mix to actually taste and feel the coffee. It reminds me of Dunkin Donuts where it's sugar and milk with a hint of coffee. I have never tried the other energy flavored drinks but I see many people in mine buy them and hope to try them in the near future.Parking: Tons of parking and a great drive thru.“
“Wow wow wow!!!! Just landed in Phoenix for a little work/play trip and was STARVING- needed good vegan food pronto and this was the first search result so we gave it a go!! Got a couple of the BBQ (non)beef rice platters and spring rolls. Super fresh and flavorful- ordered online and pickup was so easy. Very cute spot and great little cooler with some tasty drink options too. 10/10 will literally be back before we fly back home. Vegan or not, you will find seriously ??? food at this place!!Dietary restrictions: Can’t eat meat or anything super processed- very accommodating!“
“My girlfriend and I love doing Sunday Brunches and decided to give the cafe a try. I'm soooooo glad we did...the food and drinks were DELICIOUS!!! We had the avocado toast, a turkey sausage omelette, parmesan herb potatoes, and prickly pear mimosas. The ambiance is also very nice and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.“
“Amazing staff who are super helpful and knowledgable. Large selection of drinks and some quick eats such as bagels. They also sell some merchandise. There is extra parking behind the coffee shop. Nice place to study or catch up with friends.Parking: 5? spots in front, more in the back“
“Wow truly a legend in Tempe!! Everything is amazing, everything is delicious and fresh! I i get protein shakes, and the fresh juice is so delicious. The location is perfect, you can get your burger at the Chuckbox and get your protein shakes and juice from the Original ChopShop the staff is amazing and very attentive, I always feel welcomed.“
“Great service excellent food! I just moved here from San Diego and was nervous about getting Sushi in a land locked state. I was so relieved when I found Dozo, not only was it fresh and yummy but the rice and saki were next level. I will be coming back soon to try more menu items! The staff were also super great and it felt very comfortable being there.“
“Seriously, now I need a Google rating option to give a 7 star review. Not kidding. How has this place been here for 6 years, owned by neighbors and I didn't know about it? This trip was life changing, no joke, here's why.The owners, Jacque and Demetrious ("D") are about the nicest, most warm, welcoming people you could meet. Their genuine passion for their restaurant shows in the extraordinary cleanliness of the entire place, the comfortable, chill, modern, light, homey atmosphere they created, the absolutely shocking, mind bending, high quality, taste, flavor, and love in every bite of their amazing food. For. Real. Read on!We tried some of everything on the menu, seriously, this review covers it all! Smoked chicken was moist, white meat, steaming, soft, flavorful, smoked perfectly and was awesome. Now, dip it in the Alabama White sauce, and it's over the top! Alabama White sauce you say? Ya, never heard of it either. It's insanely good, incredible. That's just one of the 8 home made sauces they offer! Ya, 8! Now I've been to dozens, maybe hundreds of bbq restaurants. Nearly all have a good sauce, or two, maybe even three, but that's rare. They are usually a spicier version of the first or an attempt at a different regional style. I swear, every single sauce here is fantastic, homemade, delicious, totally unique from the rest (how is that possible??) and amazing on virtually everything. A palette of sauce flavors I've never experienced. Could not be more sauce-impressed.Okay, more food. The pork belly and rib tips are insane! They glisten in the meaty, sweet, light sauce but the smoky flavor of the meet and fat steal the show in the best way. They are the best I've ever had anywhere. The brisket, oh man, the brisket! Bark? Who needs it when this brisket is sooo moist, tender, soft, smoky, absolutely perfect! Smoked in mesquite to absolute perfection and hand carved for each order. It's H.E.A.V.E.N! The pulled pork is ridiculously great! I've never had it like this. And I make it, in my own smoker, for 40, 50, 70 people at a time. The pulled pork here is better! It has light Caribbean jerk seasoning and with the smokiness of the meat and it being the juiciest I've ever had, it's the absolute best. I feel like I've been reborn and tasting all this bbq for the first time, it's ALL soo good!Sides. The Mac N Cheese, each twist is chewy, cheesy, gooey and insanely delicious, I liked the bowl! The beans, oh man, the beans! Check out all the pics I posted. See the glossy, bourbon color on those beans! They are gently smokey, meaty, fantastic. The sweet potato fries, mmmmm, lightly crispy, warm, soft on the inside, fried to perfection and delicious in every sauce, or by themself!!Ok, wing time. I'm ruined. I've had the same favorite wings for 15 years. All that changed today. Got the Arizona Spicy wings and the Tiger Stripe wings. Insane! Nuts! Both of them! Know why? Because the wings themselves are cooked 3 different ways before being sauced! Smoked, fried, finished on the grill! What??? Big, meaty, juicy, flavorful, crispy, saucy, oh man! Best. Wings. Ever! This is the best bbq in Arizona, seriously. I've had them all, I've done competition bbq, every dish here is mind blowing! I don't know how, but it's true. And no, I wasn't drinking! :-)How is it possible that every dish here, and no joke, we tried them all, are awesome?!?!?! How is it possible the owners are so friendly, kind, fun and cool? How is this place so comfortable with cool events like whiskey and cigar nights, Mexi-Que nights, jazz & R&B music nights,.... it's been here 6 years and I'm just hearing of it?I'm just glad I haven't spent another day not knowing of Word of Mouth Grill. My plan is to go often! I honestly can't recommend this place highly enough!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly with atmosphere, food and drinks.“
“Fun bar & grill. We came here after the Miles For Migraine event at the park across the street. It was a wait for the food but it was worth it because it was delicious and fresh. Customer service was slow in the beginning but picked up and was great the rest of the time. We will definitely be back here.“
“Solid spot to get a fusion of various Asian foods. I got the bulgogi while someone else in my party got sushi, both were delicious. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the table but they have a bar in the back to grab a drink at. Would highly recommend stopping by here as you won’t be disappointed. The prices are reasonable as well!“
“Amazing service, staff, and bicycles! The Sunday group-rides are a treat, as are the various “A+” coffee blends and what the baristas curate. Well enjoyed. Anthony, my “bicycle barista” extraordinaire is exceptional with his knowledge; I fully trust him with ‘Stella,’ (my 2-wheeled ride)./Arif. C!:o)~xox“
“Good coffee (dirty chai) and good simple breakfast (breakfast panini). Nothing too new to report here. Lots of indoor seating, some outdoor seating. Quick service. Prices are fair... and I really always have to give extra kudos to coffee shops that serve warm breakfast items. Definitely a nice local spot to try out.“
“Mazaj Hookah Lounge in Tempe offers a top-notch experience. The ambiance is inviting, the owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the flavours are exceptional. Whether you're a seasoned hookah enthusiast or a first-timer, this place delivers an unforgettable time. Highly recommend!“
“Good layout and seating. Open air and patio are nice. The service was really good. The beer list is decent but two things that kept me from a 5 star is that they only can Two of their beers and have no NA beers they brew(they have standard options but nothing from them)“
“Probably one of, if not the best coffee roaster in the valley. Cortez is the only roaster with direct access to 3-5 Costa Rican farms, providing beans just unavailable to most other roasteries. Second they use traditional air roasters and degas their beans for 4-7 days before bagging. If you're a coffee head, this is your place. If you're happy with the grocery store, sample their coffees slowly with an open mind. Cortez coffee is to grocery store coffee, what Hershey's is to fine swiss chocolate.Just to ponder:Cortez has coffee that tastes like cherries and chocolate (with no sugar added), apricot and spice, cardamom and clove - basically flavors I didn't know could exist in coffee or anywhere. It's an other worldly experience. I'm a little hesitant sharing this, I don't want my favorite coffee roaster to change!!Note:As of November 2023, one of their suppliers suddenly passed away, they should have a new shipment in before or first week of March 24.“
“Friendly atmosphere. I was in the game room with a meetup group. The waitress was friendly and attentive, which was great, because we were a big group. There are a lot of games to choose from. I wasn’t impressed with their pretzel and cheese. The cheese was lukewarm and it had peppers in it, but no taste.“
“Nestled in a quaint plaza, this one-of-a-kind gem effortlessly captivates your attention from the moment you step inside. Offering a diverse array of options, each dish boasts enticing flavors that promise a delightful culinary experience. My wife opted for the Blintz, a tantalizing creation featuring Ricotta cheese, House Strawberry Jam, and Whipped Cream. The Strawberry Jam, was interesting , offered a unique twist that deviated from the expected traditional flavor profile. On the other hand, I indulged in the Caponata, a medley of Roasted Eggplant, Red Pepper, Tomatoes, Capers, and Mixed Greens. Having experienced an extraordinary crepe in France last May, I may have been anticipating a lighter, more calorie-friendly version. The staff, notably Jeff, the amiable owner, exuded friendliness and accommodation. Engaging in conversation, he added a personal touch to our dining experience. The establishment also showcases the works of local artists on its walls, creating an artful ambiance. A small plant gallery further supports local artists and businesses.Immersing ourselves in the relaxed atmosphere and vibrant, hip vibe, we relished not only the delectable dishes but also the overall charm of this unique establishment.“
“Great breakfast sandwiches and sweet croissants! Friendly staff and good service. (They let me refill the coffee cup I brought with me for no charge)Only issues are the atmosphere, presentation, and smell. It feels a bit old and stiff in there and smells like old mop water or something.I would go back for the food and service though?♂️“
“This location in 100 mill Tempe is hands down my favorite press coffee spot. They have the best blends. The baristas are friendly, ready to customize your coffee to your needs. Service is quick There's a little to go section with wraps, salads, and small bites from EAT by Stacey Weber. If you have a sweet tooth like me and love to grab baked goods at cafes don't miss out on the Chacónne pastries. For the uninitiated Pastry Chef Mark Chacón is a James Beard Award semifinalist. Ambiance is pleasant. Finding parking can be a bit tricky. Definitely check them out if you haven't. Cheers!“
“TENANT REVIEW*Iv had my salon suite here for two years now and I love it! I use to work in a salon in Goodyear and wanted to go on my own and open my own business in a salon suite building & Palette Collective was an option, booked a tour & I didn't need to look any further! I love the decor and vibe of the place and the coffee cafe is a great perk. The coffee and snacks are so good. Iv never had an issue with the property nor my suite neighbors. They have washers & dryers in the break room which is great. They also have some pretty awesome move in specials!“
“I went here on a date as a fun way for us to get to know each other. the staff were very caring and knowledgeable about all of the board games. from what little food and drinks we had it was solid, this place games and customer service first. I'm definitely coming back with more people next time.“
“The food and service was outstanding. We will definitely be back because of Ethan the bartender. thank you for this amazing experience.Vegetarian options: Has it some.Dietary restrictions: Has it all.Parking: Has it all.Kid-friendliness: Has it all.Wheelchair accessibility: Has it all.“
“This owner/chef is amazing. Followed her from her last restaurant, Thai Time Kitchen. So glad she started another restaurant! Her food is spectacular with a large variety of dishes as well as her signature Thai dishes. Something for everyone! Too much to list!“
