“WOW! WOW! WOW! From beginning to end we had a fantastic experience! The very thoughtful hostess sat us at a table with a view of The Grand Canyon. Jack our server was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and fun. …and our entree’s exceeded our expectations! My husband had the French Onion burger and remarked “this is the best burger I think I have ever had”, and I KNOW the Beef Stroganoff was the BEST I have ever had!
The ambience was warm and cozy and had a very authentic lodge look and feel.
We would HIGHLY recommend dining here while visiting The Grand Canyon!!
Parking: Large dining area, causal and relaxed atmosphere. Easily accommodates large groups.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid and family friendly

“Lots of complaints here seem to be picking at nits; this place is great. I recommend a reservation, which seemed easier to get than at other sit-down places in the village. With the reservation we were seated quickly and service was fast throughout.
Food is great! Especially given the remoteness and beauty of the locale, I was very grateful to find such amazing food. We didn’t have steak but the pasta and vegetarian protein bowl were amazing. The protein bowl in particular had a lot more flavor than I was expecting; they served it with rich Spanish rice instead of the polenta.”

“In my opinion, this is the best restaurant they have in this little section of 5-6 different places to eat. Food was made to order, fresh, and we both liked everything we had. My wife had the burrito and I had a chicken sandwich and those were both great. Service was also very good and everyone was kind.”

“Very cozy dining room. Service was great and food was delicious for being in a national park. We went for lunch and got seated by the window looking at the Grand Canyon. I had the lunch special quiche with a cup of their French onion soup and my husband got the spicy sausage sandwich which he really enjoyed. If you'd like to have dinner there I would recommend making reservations.”
“20 Dollar per person for breakfast. Waitress served us immediately (only drinks, food you help yourself at a buffet). They have toast and croissants as well as bacon, eggs, fruits and other stuff. Drinks seem to be included in 20 Dollars p.p.”

“Cheese Pizza was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. Compared to the not chain-restaurants around a good spot to eat after a day at/in the grand canyon.”

“Overall great experience and drinks. We had the pork belly (definitely try...if you like pork), duck tacos (these were ok) and the sweet potato fries (I don't like sweet potato and these were good). The service was amazing, everyone very friendly and inviting. Sat right next to the large window that had an amazing view of the canyon.”

“We celebrated Thanksgiving with these amazing folks. During our travels, we made it to the Grand Canyon for the holiday.
We were thrilled to learn about the feast they prepared. Everything was delicious and the staff was very caring and nice. We can’t tell you how much we appreciated your efforts and care.”

“Great service and atmosphere but felt the steak and salmon was overcooked. Also recommend to make fresh homemade mash potatoes for a better taste and plate.”

“Great service and a great meal. Husband and I split a Caesar Salad and a Burger in the Saloon, while enjoying some happy hour drinks. The decor is charming, cozy and the Service personable and helpful - Great wine recommendation from our Server, Julie! The beef burger was cooked to a perfect medium (as requested) and had a very tasty bacon-habanero jam that paired well with the havarti and salad. The Caesar was fresh, creamy and rich in parmesan. Would definitely eat here again.”

“We rented e-bikes and rode the rim with this bunch! It was an incredible experience from the staff who outfitted us with perfectly-sized bikes, gave us a quick tutorial on bike operation, and recommended options for our half-day on the bikes. We opted for the Hermit’s Rest ride (21 miles roundtrip and mostly flat) and it was PERFECT for a five-hour rental. We biked at a leisurely pace, stopped several times, and even had a quick lunch at Hermit’s Rest. Highly recommend Bright Angel Bicycle Rentals!”

“Reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches, burritos & Starbucks coffee! It opens at 7 am but we got in line at 6:45 and we are glad we did. By the time we got out of line there were 30 more people behind us in line!Tip: get in line early before they even open up or you’ll be waiting awhile!”
“Large selection of South West Indian art, dream catchers, and figures. If looking for that one of a kind suvioners, then this is your first chance to get one from the east side entrance of the Grand Canyon.
There is also an attached 6 you need a coffee, pick me up or a sweet treat.”
