A friend called on my way to the restaurant and once she found out I was heading to Leo's Island BBQ- asked if I wouldn't mind grabbing her the Grilled Island Fish plate and dropping it off on my way home. "Why sure!" (I didn't mind!)Long story short; I was in a rush when I dropped her plate off, and accidentally left her with my BBQ Short Ribs plate. Whoops. I received the text informing me of my mistake by the time I got home. My heart sank a tiny bit. “Rudys is generally a really good BBQ place. They have a good sauce and good meats and sides. Every once in a while the moist brisket isn't quite as melt in your mouth as a moist brisket should be. Normally it's good but even so often they don't get it quite right which is why I only have 4 stars in the food. Besides the occasional brisket being a little off everything else has always been good. I also use their rub and BBQ sauce on a lot of my own cooks because they're really good. I do recommend rudys if you haven't had it before.“
“The service was fine. We walked in and directly to a booth without any waiting. This was at 5 on a weeknight. I thought it funny that they weren't busier than they were. We ordered and sat, and sat, and waited. Finally, my husband asked how much longer as it had already been 45 minutes. The waitress said she would go check and came back with our food. Unfortunately, the food was barely warm. The Mac cheese was congealed, and the meat was cold. What a disgusting thing, a cold fat globule in my mouth. My husband complained, and the waitress offered a fresh plate, but by that time, we just wanted to leave. She did get a deduction on our bill. We had 2 appetizers, 2 platters, and water. Still, we paid more than I think was fair and right for a dinner that was not edible.“
“My boyfriend and I went here for a romantic dinner. He was really excited to share the experience with me. The menu indicates all you can eat. After the meal we were told there was an additional add-on fee because we had an eaten everything on our plates. There is nothing on the menu that indicated that there would be this additional charge per person, when we asked to take the additional food home, we were told no we would only be charged with it, but couldn’t take it home. It is a very poor customer experience with hidden cost, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend the head manager basically cursed us out the door because we asked questions about this added fee, I definitely do not recommend and will not be going back“
“I was traveling for work, and I thought I would give it a try. I looked at the menu, and everything was very inexpensive, so I didn't have high expectations. Boy, was I surprised! When you get something better than the menu picture at a restaurant that's like never ever anymore, you are shocked! First, the butter rolls. I've seen memes of such things and never understood it. But I quickly learned real fast it's no joke! I ate all 4, and I wasn't even hungry, really because I had a nice breakfast. Didn't even get to the complementary peanut either. But the bake potatoes are the best I've ever had and I ate at a lot of fine restaurants. The steaks and all the fixings on top that came bigger than advertised. It was delicious and perfect, and when you factor in, it's only 1/4 of what you'd normally paid for at a fine dinner it really adds to the value and experience. Even if you take put the cost, it can hold its own and even top most Steakhouse. Friendly staff they are wonderful and kind. I went in for a local dinner experience and came out dumbfounded at the value and quality. I had a great time and really enjoyed everything I ate there.“
“Staff and food never disappoint. It's a once every two weeks spot for us. We really enjoy the spicy chicken bites appetizer, we usually get 2. 2 of my boys eat just 1. We enjoy the lunch there very much. Smaller crowd, more attentive staff, and for us it works with our special needs son who they do well accomodationing him.Kid-friendliness: Staff seems to deal and manage with my 3 boys, and especially my autistic son. He yells out from time to time, but no one says anything to us.“
“I am sorry I do not have photos. The food looked so good I couldn't wait to eat! I had the beast burger and it was the best! Every place I have tried with BBQ sauce and onion strings on their burger, the flavor was too over powering. Here, it was just the right amount and I could actually enjoy the meat. Affordable prices and very friendly service. The cheesecake was so rich and delicious. Highly recommend. Prices were 15-20 for entree but with dessert it was about 20-30“

Our server was absolutely the best I've ever had! 10/10 on the service!! Just go! Lively place, fun, delicious! Go for the Porterhouse w/shrooms, and any style potato, with a salad. “Staying in Glendale for Spring Training....NakedQ within walking distance and thought we'd give it a try. Staff very friendly and helpful when we said we were first timers.Recommended we share a 2 meat, 2 side with corn bread. And we had a peach tart for dessert.We had pulled pork and brisket for meats, Beans and Mac and cheese for sides.Both meats were delicious and sauces were very good. Baked Beans were good although nothing special and Mac and cheese a bit bland but corn bread and peach tart were above average.I thought the prices were fair and the service again was above average.Staying here for 10 days and will return to NakedQ again“

“The ambiance was pleasant, scoring a 7 out of 10, although the legroom felt cramped for someone of my height (5'8"). Service was impressive, earning a 9 out of 10; they provided a convenient button to call the waiter whenever needed, and the food arrived promptly, usually within 2 minutes. As for the food itself, it receives a solid 6; however, there was a noticeable shortage of sauce for each dish, as the meat was already coated in sauce before being served. I would recommend trying the bulgogi since it's the only dish with ample sauce.“
“Well I've been coming here for a few years now and can honestly say Authenticos sticks out amongst the greats! 1st off he uses arrachera (skirt steak) which is rare around the valley. It's mesquite smoked on wood so it reminds you if that family backyard BBQ asada. His pastor is also mesquite smoked and it's just as good as the asada in my opinion. He also has a wide variety of toppings like grilled onions, pico de gallo and nopales to name a few. As well I cant think of any other taquero I've been to that has fresher toppings. Also a protip if your ordering for delivery/take home, ask for toppings on the side u can steam Tacos in the micro (closed container) and add everything nice and fresh!“
