“I've been to 3 Cheba hut locations in the valley and this one has the best sandwiches. They don't skimp on their toppings like the chandler location! The white widow is our go to with the garlic bread. We split the blunt size. So juicy, good and flavorful! The vibe is always great. I only scored 2 stars for atmosphere because we ate outside on the patio which feels a bit like a prison yard. But it was quiet so we chose to stay out there.“

“I have been ordering food here for over 2 years for my companies monthly manager meetings and we have always been super happy with the quality, portion size and taste of the food. This month I made a mistake and ordered without selecting the time and date of pickup (totally my fault) so the food was naturally made asap. I called when I realized what I had done but the food had already been made and was awaiting pickup. At first I was upset at the prospect of paying for the food twice (my meeting was for the next day) but more concerned why they didn't call me so I spoke to the manager/owner. He was extremely accommodating and didn't make me pay for the food twice--that wasn't my intention--but it made me feel good to know he recognized my loyalty as a long time customer and wanted to make me happy. I will continue to go to Z Cafe for all of our company caterings and will share my recommendation of this great breakfast/lunch spot with everyone. Thank you Z Cafe!!!“

“This place is good now that they worked the bugs out. I was there when they first opened and they were pricy and nothing special. Now still a little pricy but the quality is great. Had Italian and the Philly cheese with portobello mushrooms. Good stuff.my preference is the Italian..but having my first Philly when I was young in Philadelphia spoiled me. “Man, this is tough, as I LOVE firehouse subs, but I used to come in for 50% food and service & 50% for the hot sauce collection. This was the niche that set all apart... ive continued visiting since covid and just haven't been nearly as thrilled, I think I'm at the end of my experience with firehouse cause that piece that used to separate it is just gone. I can still see the hot sauce racks at almost every firehouse, and it's just a painful reminder of how awesome it used to be.BTW no one uses chalulah on sandwiches unless they lack better options. Idk.. 7-8 years of faithful customer hood, I'm going to look for the next spot that has that unique vibe. I bring my own hotsauce now and it's just not cutting it. Cheers firehouse! “First timer today. WOW!!!! IMPRESSIVE!! Has to be the most tasty sandwich ever made. Super impressed. I will be back. The person who took my order told me 128 next time for my sandwich choice. “I had a doordash order to pick up from this location. It was a massive order, and through no fault of the two awesome gentlemen on staff, they did not have enough meatballs prepared to fulfill the order. The gentleman that I primarily interacted with was extremely apologetic and so very nice. I told him it was not a problem and that I would notify the customer. This employee was just so amazing and gracious and although I could see that he was under stress (from walking into an improperly prepared store via the prior shifts inadequate prepping) he was ever so polite and mild mannered. I tend to see a lot of employees of fast food restaurants become almost enraged at the littlest things, but that was not the case here. There was an older couple dining in when I arrived. They were just finishing up ordering their sandwiches when I walked in. They both had smiles on their faces and were chatting with the gentlemen I had the pleasure of speaking with. This guy is a kind person, speaking to customers like they're old friends, instead of letting the fact that his shift was likely less than awesome, ruin his attitude towards customers. No doubt this guy had to work his shift doung double the work as it appeared he was doing the previous employees duties left undone as well as his own. It makes me happy to see younger people working hard and showing integrity and patience in the workplace. I didn't get his name, or the other young man's name, but to those amazing guys, you rock. Keep up the stellar work and excellent attitudes! People like y'all are the reason I will drive an additional 10 miles out of my way surpassing the same big chain restaurant on the way, specifically to go to locations such as yours, where y'all fine people are employed.The store was immaculately clean. It smelled amazing. The fountain drink machine was clean as was the area around it. It was fully stocked of lids, straws, napkins, etc.I'd say this is hands down, the best Subway I've been to in AZ.
