Truly incredible. Creative flavor combinations and preparations featuring local and heirloom ingredients. Out of so many delicious sounding dishes, I decided on the avocado toast. Their rendition includes homemade squash bread, avocado, smoked trout, corn nuts, and optional egg (get the egg!). Perhaps the best avocado toast ever. Our visit here was amazing. From the moment you walked into the restaurant you'll be greeted by your barista with the a beautiful smile. We ordered the Burger, Valentine Dog and Tater Tots With Chili-Aioli & Native Seed Salsa Secca. Absolutely yummy! I also tried the Cajeta Latte espresso with cajeta very sweet and tasty coffee. The food was amazing, service was great and the decor inside and outside the place brings the whole experience together. We will definitely visit again!

Valentine has been on my list for a long time so when we finally made it to Melrose for dinner we pulled no punches on our ordering. If we didn't get everything on the menu we were close.
