Board & Brew - Tempe Reviews
Avoid this place at all cost!! I was given the wrong order as the person at the counter gave another person my sandwich. When I told her the order she brought me was wrong the response given "well there's nothing I can do about it since I put your sandwich down and someone else took it". Like really that's how you do business, I asked for a refund being I didn't my actual order. Again I was refused. Unacceptable on every level
Board and brew is an amazing sandwich shop! My boyfriend took me here for the first time a couple weeks ago and I’ve been 4 times since! The secret sauce is to die for and the sandwiches and bread are always fresh! The staff is super helpful and friendly! 10/10 would recommend this small business. I love the atmosphere and vintage vibes of the place as well!
portions and food are amazing

Board & Brew, established in 1979 and expanded to 30 locations, offers a variety of delicious sandwiches and sides. Notable menu items include the Baja Chicken and Club sandwich, praised for its flavorful house sauce and massive, well-held contents on a toasted French Baguette. The pastrami sandwich is also a favorite, known for its size, taste, and tenderness. The beef dip sandwich, often paired with potato salad, has received positive feedback, with customers noting the meat can be a little dry but is complemented by enough au jus sauce. The grilled cheese sandwich, served with a special sauce, is also well-liked. The potato salad is described as delicious, enhancing the overall meal experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is enhanced by retro surf and skate board decor. Customers often comment on the quality and freshness of the ingredients, with some highlighting the impressive size and taste of the sandwiches. Service is quick and friendly, contributing to the relaxed, low-key vibe that makes it a favorite for dine-in or takeout. The cleanliness and work environment are highly praised, and many continue to visit regularly, especially for the pastrami sandwich. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options like tortillas and a good selection of craft beers, making it a popular spot for both eating and catering. It is conveniently located next to ASU, attracting a busy lunchtime crowd, and while parking can be a challenge, the experience is well worth it.
