I love how you can change the noodle width. The braised noodle soup is my go-to and the brisket is always so tender. You could inject the broth straight into my veins and I think it would make me a superior human being. Service is typical and very quick. The restaurant in general is quite modest but in my opinion it is part of their allure of authenticity. They're known for their ramen, but their fried rice is the best in Tempe for sure.
Overall a 3.5/5 stars. We've been looking for a hand drawn noodle restaurant replacement ever since our favorite closed down last year. We would have never found this place if it weren't for some word of mouth. As others have stated, don't let the name fool you. It's not a Japanese ramen place! I've come to this place a couple of times now and they always have great food. The owner is super nice and likeable and his staff are really great as well. Highly recommend this place for some great Chinese noodles. No other place in Arizona compares.
