“Had dinner and drinks this evening, set at the bar and the bartender on duty was very plain and as soon I order my food and 1 drink, I felt pressure by the way she ask me if I wanted to close my tap. I been staying here for the last 3 weeks from Wednesday through Saturday weekly and is the first time I felt uncomfortable when having dinner on the premises. I was fortune David showed up and took over part of the bar and started making my drinks and food. Had 4 Mules , 2 tacos and Calamari. Thanks David the drinks were ?? . But overall, the experience and the food is great!!“
“Three words.... "Just do it". Vibe, atmosphere, service and food... ALL ON POINT!! Chic Chef knows her stuff - the food is incredible and presented like something out of a magazine. I will be recommending this spot to every soul I come in contact with ☺️ “
“Four peaks is one of the best breweries in AZ! We did a brewery tour with Carter and he was incredible. He was informative, funny, anecdotal, and engaging. The tour was one of the better brewery tours I’ve done. The staff at four peaks is always so friendly, and the food and beer are obviously incredible. We love four peaks!“
“Defin a hole in the wall place next to a liquor store on Apache and McClintock. It had a huge liquor and beer menu in which I would like to try one day, didn't have a chance to get a drink tonight.. I ordered "what's your beef bro" and plain hamburger. Everything was tasty and the service was good. Defin be back to try everything else“
“Drink were great, friendly bar staff, delicious appetizers. I gave it 3 stars for the atmosphere because the music was so loud during their dinner rush that it made it hard to have a conversation. Other than that, it wasn't my first time there, and it won't be my last.“
“Walked to the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed the experience sitting outside on the patio (although the traffic on University was noisy at times). The Carnitas Tacos were very good with the spicy pear and cream sauce while the side sweet potato fries were perfectly light and crispy. The tacos menu item came with two tacos--a third taco addition option would be nice. The Mushroom Melt was a coin flip. Kids menu items were good. There's also a nice beer list available with some local brews on tap.Service was attentive and accommodating. A very nice experience overall.“
“An Eating Experience , fresh , spotless, and delicious. The Owners are Royal and makes it feel like grandma’s kitchen where our love with food began. The servers know what you want added and make sure your dish is served piping hot. A magnificent restaurant.“
“Mmm… the photo does not do the experience justice. Groovy Snooze, in the heart of the city's student district, is a nice escape from the golf and cowboy hat-wearing folks closer to the city. Tempe is a land of nose-piercing progressivism, yet this place offers everything for the discriminating vegan or carnivore. For me, the delight was the habanero pork belly bacon - four spicy, thick bits of pig that balanced splendidly with the sweet pineapple upside-down pancakes. One serving was enough for me, and it was served in a creamy cinnamon sauce with a dollop of cinnamon butter in the middle. All so good! Our friendly waiter kept the coffee mugs and water glasses filled. It's a way better option than the chains, and the prices are around the same.“
“Really good, especially the protein pancakes! We got the half and half, and I'm so full I won't have to eat for a week! Which is good, since it cost half of what I'd spend on groceries for a week! When reviews say it's pricey... Believe them. (But, really... What isn't any more? ??)“
“4 stars for the food. 3 stars for the service, as they absolutely needed either more staff or more motivated staff. The woman that was the cashier was working her butt off running the cash register, being the hostess AND bussing tables. Meanwhile, many servers walked past us for several minutes after we walked in and didnt offer to seat us. This poor woman is over here doing 3 jobs (or more) while new customers walked in (like us) and was too busy cashing people out to seat us. Totally not her fault. But when you have lots of servers walking around doing not much, they should've easily helped her out and sat tables. That being said the food was good, onion rings ON POINT. I also love when restaurants will give you to-go cups with refill beverages when you leave. It's a typical no-frills diner which is honestly what I loved about it. Husband said his burger was also good. We will be back to try their huge breakfast menu.Kid-friendliness: Typical diner food, so plenty of kid friendly options“
“Our new go-to dinner out spot. Consistently delicious southwestern food, great variety of options, everything is fresh and plated beautifully. The selection of drinks is great too. I suggest starting with the sampler platter entree and arrive early and be patient there is often a wait to get in but it's always worth the wait.“
“Took some out of town friends with another couple over the weekend. It was a first visit for everyone. No one left hungry! I actually had breakfast 2 more days with just my leftovers. The mushroom sauce is amazing. Green chili had excellent flavor, but a little mild…I like it spicy! We will defiantly be back!“
“Had been wanting to try out this spot so we stopped in for drinks and dessert! Ordered an Aperol spritz (wasn't on menu) and the Smokeshow #18. Both drinks were really good and they had a great selection of specialty cocktails. We also ordered the S'mores pazookie which unfortunately was overcooked so we did not get a great taste of the cookie, but that did not stop us from finishing it :) Love the small, intimate atmosphere this place offers! Would love to come back for dinner or brunch!“
“Interesting menu. Lots of different options, most very healthy sounding. Been here multiple times, almost always for brunch. Service and ambiance are great. The place is cute. The food is really good as well. Some of it is really healthy, some not so much but has great flavor (pasta, sandwiches). Recently we went for lunch in the middle of the week and got the Mexicali quinoa bowl and a Philly cheesecake sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were sooooooo good. The flavors were on point. The service was very speedy for being in the middle of lunch hour rush.“
“My coworkers and I came for breakfast because we had meetings during lunch time and needed some comfort food and we weren't disappointed.I had the eggs Benedict and my coworker had the farm skillet and we shared because we were both torn between the two dishes. It was a great choice. Great service and like I said the food was delicious. Only downside would be the parking but is worth it.“
“We love Pedal Haus! We brought two of our macaws to dinner with us tonight and Sam, Sydney, and Nina were so very friendly and accommodating. Sam brought our girls Gypsy and Noel a few French fries on the house! Fun atmosphere, kind employees, and fast service. The food is great too!“
“Best restaurant in Tempe. Great prices, huge portions and friendly staff that really seem to enjoy what they do. It is also open almost 24/7 so you can go at anytime of the day knowing that you will have enough food in your system for atleast 12 hours. They always hook it up fr. Mucho gracias??“
“Good food with a nice variety of menu items, great beer selection (both draft and in the cooler), and solid non-beer offerings in wine and cocktails. The dog-friendly patio is a great place to spend time almost all year round with complete shade along with fans, misters and heaters, depending on the season.“
“I wasn’t sure what to expect of this place when I went here the first time but I came away impressed. This is the only place I can think of that actually makes crispy onion rings, and they do not disappoint. The fries are also very well seasoned and the staff is really friendly and incredibly punctual. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick yummy bite to eat, because these guys do a good job.“
“Wow truly a legend in Tempe!! Everything is amazing, everything is delicious and fresh! I i get protein shakes, and the fresh juice is so delicious. The location is perfect, you can get your burger at the Chuckbox and get your protein shakes and juice from the Original ChopShop the staff is amazing and very attentive, I always feel welcomed.“
“Kendall is one of your top customer service attendant!!! We come in at least 2 times per month & have never had a more personable & professional interaction with any of your other staff!! She goes above & beyond waitressing!!! She is a true customer service representative!!!“
“My girlfriend and I love doing Sunday Brunches and decided to give the cafe a try. I'm soooooo glad we did...the food and drinks were DELICIOUS!!! We had the avocado toast, a turkey sausage omelette, parmesan herb potatoes, and prickly pear mimosas. The ambiance is also very nice and welcoming. Can't wait to go back.“
“Checked this place out while we were staying in Mesa for a baseball tourney. Staff was super friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. Food was delicious. Tried the guacamole, salsas, multiple tacos and house marg. All were on point and flavorful! They even went out of their way to make a special kids meal for my son that was off menu. Would definitely go back to try more things!“
“Fun bar & grill. We came here after the Miles For Migraine event at the park across the street. It was a wait for the food but it was worth it because it was delicious and fresh. Customer service was slow in the beginning but picked up and was great the rest of the time. We will definitely be back here.“
“Their beyond meat burger is so wonderfully tasty, plus their sweet potato fries are excellent. This meal is pricey, but definitely worth every penny. You won't be disappointed I can assure you. I haven't had any of their other meals because I'm a vegan, but I've heard plenty of great things about the other options on their menu. Lastly, their Barvarian Pretzel is Great!!!Parking: There is a parking lot, but there are several other good places that surround the entire parking lot, including a movie theater. So, there may be times when you'll find parking with no major issues, and then other times you may be circling for a minute to find a parking spot, or you may have to park either near the bank or somewhere else in the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They have kid menus for the little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: No issues getting a wheelchair inside this place.“
“Back when I was a newly minted dad, I loved taking my kiddo to divey breakfast spots around the valley. One of those spots was Jim's Coney Island Cafe. The decor looked straight up 1970s film noir. Rows of oversized yellow vinyl booths. A quarter mile of countertop. A row of sturdy stools that could accommodate any size or shape butt that came through the door. The food was classic diner basic, the prices were reasonable, and the place was always nice and clean. It’s now 2024, my kid has kids of his own, and JCI is exactly as we left it all those years ago.Although pretentious food snobbies with ultra-delicate sensibilities and palates will likely steer clear of the place, the way I look at it is if you choose to spend 10 bucks for a plate of eggs at Jim’s, or peel off 40 bucks for the same plate of eggs in a fancier zip code, it’s all gonna come out in the same place in the end.For me, Jim's Coney Island is a place where me and my kid made a few memories, and where divey breakfast dreams are dreamt.“
“I went here on a date as a fun way for us to get to know each other. the staff were very caring and knowledgeable about all of the board games. from what little food and drinks we had it was solid, this place games and customer service first. I'm definitely coming back with more people next time.“
“Friendly atmosphere. I was in the game room with a meetup group. The waitress was friendly and attentive, which was great, because we were a big group. There are a lot of games to choose from. I wasn’t impressed with their pretzel and cheese. The cheese was lukewarm and it had peppers in it, but no taste.“
“The food and service was outstanding. We will definitely be back because of Ethan the bartender. thank you for this amazing experience.Vegetarian options: Has it some.Dietary restrictions: Has it all.Parking: Has it all.Kid-friendliness: Has it all.Wheelchair accessibility: Has it all.“
“It was nice go find a place where there was a variety form of entertainment besides just watching television: we got pool tables, dart games, music, and it wasn't all sports when it came to watching TV, we got something for everyone. Went to check out the atmosphere and drink, stayed long enough to enjoy the food. Good service all around.“
“Wildflower's buy one get one free (BOGO) is the best deal on sandwiches. You have to join their frequent diner program. They email you when they are offering this deal. Their sandwiches are big and come with various sides though some sides are an additional charge. We like the Cheddar Braised Beef that has braised beef, cheddar, cheddar & caramelized onion mashed potatoes & organic arugula on a grilled ciabatta roll with au jus, horseradish sauce & served with a side of chips for 13.99. This is a bargain compared to nearly $30.00 it normally costs. We also like it on sourdough instead of the ciabatta roll. Our only disappointment was the last time we ordered the au jus was more like gravy than a broth. Note that this is seasonal so is not always available. Our other favorite is the BLTA - bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and avocado. They also have a selection of soups, salads and pastas. And don't forget the Danish and cakes for desert. The interior was recently redone. The beverage station was moved to all self-serve. This is great as it speeds up the service. The booths were reupholstered with florescent orange. It is a little loud for our tastes. There is an outside seating area that is pet friendly. The restaurant is always clean, and the service is great though limited. You order at the counter, get a number and then the food is brought to your table. They get very busy on the weekends so plan ahead.“
“Pancakes are delicious and huge any size you get. Food is good. A little loud in the restaurant but very nice place to eat with friends or family. I will return.Parking: Common parking.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access is available.“
“This charming spot offers a delightful selection of classic American dishes, with a twist of Mexican-inspired breakfast options that truly elevate the menu. While the service is good, be prepared for a bit of a wait on busy days. The dining area is well-maintained, with clean tables, though some may find the plastic table covers a bit off-putting—though, in the grand scheme of things, it's a minor detail. Overall, it's a great breakfast spot worth visiting.“
“Food and servers are great but the prices are getting ridiculous! I used to get the Monster burger for 9.95 now it is $18.00!!!! I now get the small haystack burger which is the size of McDonald's kids hamburger for $11.00We used to visit 1-3 times a month, now we only go once every 45-90 days. Their greed is costing them a lot of business. Hope they do not suffer bankruptcy like so many other restaurants.“
“This place is great. We eat here a lot, and everyone is always courteous. The food has never disappointed. A+Vegetarian options: It's not too hard to be vegetarian here, though finding vegan is nearly impossible, possibly a plain baked potato and salad would be it.“
“Great location for lunch, the wait staff was top notch and very attentive to our needs. We ordered a light lunch and the food was great and service was quick. Being from the Chicago area and having Bar Louie start in our neighborhood, we felt right at home with the menu and options.I had the pepperoni flatbread, my son a burger and we split cheese curds and I would recommend all to any potential customers. The restaurant was quiet at lunchtime, and we noticed it was a lot more busy during dinner and we would love to swing by again before heading back to Chicago.Parking: Mall parking is available and consider the crowd at the mall for availability“
“I was there for a roofing event and really enjoyed myself. They treated us so well and were extremely courteous the entire time. Camile, behind the bar, was absolutely amazing. I explained that I was a recovering alcoholic and she made me the best non-alcoholic drinks. It felt good to have someone actually listen and not question why I chose that. Super cool. I've never been to Arizona before this event, but I can tell you that after this experience, I will definitely return!“
“Wow. I loved this place! Kira was our waitress and she did an amazing job guiding us through the big menu! Her service was above and beyond what we normally get elsewhere. You can tell she loves helping customers choose from all they have to offer! The burnt ends and brisket was out of this world and the mac and cheese woooah. Fun and cool environment with such good food. Can’t wait to go back to try the drinks and other goodies. Recommend 10/10“
“Thank you to the amazing team at Terra Tempe Kitchen for helping make my wedding day so special. I eloped and wanted to treat my 10 guests to dinner, it was convenient to have dinner at the hotel we would be staying at. The team at Terra went above and beyond to accommodate us. They worked with me to create my own menu, stored my wedding cake, seated us in a private area and decorated the table, service was amazing, food was great, and they even cut and served my wedding cake. 10 out of 10 experience, I couldn’t be more appreciative.“
“We come HERE ALL THE TIME. We love it. I do have 2 issues, they both have to do with the roll up doors (that are always open) leading to the patio. First: there are ALWAYS gnats inside the restaurant. Second: it seems like as soon as our food gets brought to our table, someone lights up a cigarette or pipe on the patio. It's very off putting given the ashtray smell and the gnats. The service is always top notch. The food is consistently good. I like being able to pay through the app. Makes paying the check a breeze.“
“I had many amazing experiences with all of the staff members throughout the hotel during our stay for conference. The front desk staff, the bar staff, the conference room staff.... everyone was super friendly and nice. The guys outside helping with cars, the shuttle and such were probably the most helpful. We talked to all different shifts and met them all and they were just so nice. Today I checked out and forgot my blanket somewhere. We knew it was in hotel but the shuttle was leaving. Otto ran up to look for it but we had to leave to go to airport. I swear I literally got off the shuttle and was looking for my passport and turned around and there he was with my blanket!! Who is so kind!? Thank you to the whole staff for being so kind but Otto....that was a Minky and was over $200!! Wasn't just any blanket and Ohio is not close to Arizona! Thank you so so so much!!!“
“My first visit, I arrived at about 11am for a solo brunch. The almost full parking lot was an early indication of how busy & popular this place is. It was a lovely cloudy & barmy morning, so I opted to be the only taker for a seat in the peace & privacy of their covered patio. Normally a biscuit & gravy fiend, their specialty (next time!), i opted for corned beef hash with scrambled eggs & sourdough toast - I actually didnt even bother with the cubed sauteed potatoes, quite tasteless. The tall pot of coffee was most welcome, & together they hit the spot, even tho the hash &:eggs weren't really anything to write home about. Being able to sit my phone on the table & watch some news videos undisturbed, & undisturbing, was refreshing in itself. Will def have to go back & try their biscuits! (Btw the servers were very attentive).“
“Situated near the Harkins theatre within Tempe Marketplace you will find a pizza establishment called Slices. Though I've been numerous times to this outdoor shopping mall, I have not stopped in to this location. A friend suggested for a cheap slice meal for under $10 ($8.99 for the mix & match specials). I was skeptical as how can you get a slice, salad, and drink for under $10?! I'm thrilled to report it did live up to the hype! Heck, there was not just a few vegetarian options but they even had a few vegan slice options. The side salad left a lot to be desired based on my preferences on a salad. It contain spring mix, cherry tomatoes, and carrots. I wish it had croutons and romaine, but I'll consider that next visit if I return to the area. Cheese pizza is always a go to for me, and how I rate slices versus other pizza chains. Their cheese pizza slice was nice and floppy for folding - New York style is my pizza preference. Definitely loved the slice and could see myself making through the vegetarian slice thoughts, and also inquiring about the vegan ones as my peanut/treenut allergy can limit me. The interior is pretty small, so it can be hard to locate a spot to eat especially if you are with friends like I was. We did locate some seating outside which was enjoyable given the time of year. I would definitely factor seasonality as this may not be a place I would want to visit in the summer if indoor seating wasn't available. The service was both quick and friendly, so a great place to grab and go if seating isn't available.“
“We were so happy that the hostess was able to seat us without a reservation!! We have a wonderful experience at Caffe Boa from the amazing service to the top notch food! Our lovely waitress, Ruth was a gem. She was professional but welcomed us and made us feel at home. Our meal came out quickly. I had the Ros Marino chicken which came with a delicious lemon caper sauce over a half of a chicken, which was perfectly cooked. The side of crispy but light golden potatoes soaked up the amazing sauce. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was light and smooth and the meatballs were tender and moist. We topped it off with a glass of Perinni primativo which complimented the meal perfectly. It was a great meal!!!“
“We've been frequenting this spot for their custard, but this time we decided to give their butter burger meal a shot—and we were pleasantly surprised. While it's not a dedicated burger joint, it's the closest one around, and it definitely hits the spot when you're craving a burger. The service was, as always, excellent, and the cozy atmosphere adds to the overall experience.“
“The food is great! I had “The Lodge” cheeseburger with waffle fries and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had. The staff are friendly and the log cabin atmosphere is cool!Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicap parking spots and there are no steps“
“Great food. Fish Fry Friday is the best. It's been a few years since I was in there and it looks the same. Wish they would upgrade the furniture, clean the window sills and paint the front door. I will be back in spite of!Parking: Need more handicap spots. One out front say it's a fire zone, no parking????“
“Very pleased with our dinner at Milagros. My family dined here for dinner on a Tuesday night after flying into town. We were hungry and didn't know where to go and quickly learned that there was a restaurant in the hotel. The atmosphere is pleasant, the hotel and restaurant are Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired. It felt like we were sitting in an upscale lounge in the 1970s. Paige served us our dinner and was friendly, professional, and on her game. Everything was perfect, accommodating our needs as we changed our minds while ordering. I had the chicken focaccia and a side salad for dinner. The sandwich was delicious- the garlic aioli added a punch of flavor. I ended up eating it as an open-faced sandwich because the bread muted the flavors on the inside too much and I didn't want to miss those.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Boondocks in Tempe is my go-to, around the corner spot for a fantastic time! Casey, the first bartender I met here, is a gem – her kindness and skill create a welcoming atmosphere that initially kept me coming back. Seriously, had it not been for her, I’m not sure I’d have come back. The there’s Tyler, the GM, who runs the show with attentiveness, ensuring a fair and positive vibe for both staff and patrons.Tyler, another bartender, is a constant source of laughs with his jokes, making every visit light-hearted and enjoyable (check out his ice fr)…Brittany's vibrant energy adds a lively touch, making the bar area fun and inviting. Jared, another diligent bartender, not only serves with precision but also saved my b*tt on a sports-themed crossword. And let's not forget Matt - braving through every Thursday karaoke night of college kids and off key singers with levity and professionalism, just proves Boondocks Tempe is the SUPERIOR Boondocks. The entire staff, including these amazing individuals, makes sure everyone feels safe, included. It's not just a bar; it's the local watering hole this side of Tempe needed - filled with positive vibes and great people! ?Also: the food RIPS, 10/10 best chicken strips this side of Tempe Town Lake!“
“This is by far my favorite Denny’s in the valley! Quick service and delicious food, even if they’re packed. In terms of service - Melissa B is a fantastic waitress. She was on top of everything - refills, checking in, etc. Genuinely friendly too.“
