“I only got to try the torta and blueberry lemonade but both were amazing. Can’t wait to come back to try each of the tacos. The pineapple salsa was incredible. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. Plus the owner Raul was super cool. 10/10 for this place.“
“Their food is delicious. Love their guac and red salsa. Tacos are really good meat is nicely seasoned and cooked. Chicken could use more seasoning and they need to add either tripas or birria tacos. You'd think for being a well known taco spot their employees would be more lively or at least have must going enough to get you going but no very blah but at least the food is good. Margaritas need more liquor.“
“The food... the smokey savory favor in the meat, the condiments, and garnish station, all added to an amazing experience at Ta Carbon. The staff were wonderful and helpful in explaining the menu items. The facility is very clean, including the restroom, which is unisex. We sat on the patio. Staff were fast to keep tables clean off in preparation for the next patron. There is plenty of parking. Accessible parking and entrance.“
“Took friends out for their birthday. Was not disappointed at all. Excellent waiter & food was delicious and timely. Very polite.never ate your restaurant and been living her 27 years. Can’t believe I’ve been missing your place and our awesome dining experience. See you soon & Thank you. Many restaurants make you feel rushed after you eat. Did not have that all as enjoyed one of cheesecakes drizzled either chocolate. Thanks again“
“Fresh and savory flavors, relaxing atmosphere, and hospitable staff. We were met with a friendly greeting. The staff were very welcoming, upbeat, and polite. We ordered a carne asada torta (asadero) with everything and fresas con crema. Everything tasted garden-fresh, expertly seasoned, and the perfect temperature. They have a simple menu but a wide variety of flavors for aguas and jugos. The dining room and bathroom were immaculately clean. They also had a cute neon side with greenery as a backdrop. Very cute photo op.“
“Stumbled upon this place several years ago in N Scottsdale and glad I did. Mexican food like it ought to be cooked, not TEX MEX,thank goodness, do not lower your standards of quality of ingredients as I've seen this time and time again with some other Mexican " chains". servers are hit and miss, some good, some could be better and improve their skills. I drive out of the way as you don't have a NE Tempe or /NWMesa location yet?“
“The food here is absolutely delicious, with generous portions at affordable prices. While the service may be a bit slow because everything is freshly prepared, it's worth the wait. The restaurant isn't very large, but it's clean and well-maintained. I want to give a special shoutout to our server for her honesty and exceptional service. When my son forgot his Visa card, she went above and beyond to locate us in the parking lot and return it to him. That kind of dedication really made our experience memorable.“
“First time at Don Ruben's...by far, not the last! Food was great, service could not have been better, and the ambiance was very welcoming and up to date. I can't believe this is our first time when they have been open since late last year!“
“My wife ordered the quesadillas and I ordered the El Rico burrito. Both meals were excellent! The salsa was very good also: not too spicy, and a thicker consistency that clung to the chips magnificently. The clincher to my El Rico was a jalapeño cream cheese topping, just below copious amounts of Monterey Jack cheese. An excellent selection of margarita drinks on the menu as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to any Mexican food fanatic.“
“I had a chicken taco and there wasnt alot of chicken and it was dry and my taco shell was greasy. My husband had Chorizo but there wasnt alot of chorizo just alot of egg. My in laws like going there so that's why we ate there. Not a fan.“
“I love how unique the menu items here and even more because it’s all so good! Instead of chips and salsa, you’re served chips and mole. It’s my go-to spot when I have coworkers in from out of town and want a real Mexican food experience.“
“Excellent Sonoran Mexican restaurant. Start with a basket of very fresh and warm chips plus very tasty salsa. It was hard to stop eating them. I had the Carne Machaca dinner. Slow roasted pot roast in onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Fresh homemade tortillas. This was a wonderful dish served with rice and black beans. My wife had the Mahi Mahi tacos. Perfectly cooked Mahi in a fresh semi cooked corn tortilla. Cover with a pineapple slaw and a cream sauce. She loved it. Top notch service. Waiter was friendly and attentive.Lots of parking. Well worth the trip.“
“In town for spring training games with my sister. We tried this restaurant based on the great reviews and we were not disappointed! Edson recommended the combo basket with one of each taco (3 total) - very glad we followed that advice. Each one was unique and tasty, made fresh, and delivered hot off the grill. Definitely worth the short wait. The carnitas was my favorite, but you really can't go wrong with any choice. Edson is delightful, the tacos are delicious, and we will definitely be back next year, for the Royals and La Bamba tacos!“
“Woooooooooo! First time visiting on 11/29/2022, for Taco Tuesday... Have mercy. This place is legit, they give "Street Tacos" a whole new meaning. Everything is made fresh to order, right in front of you! For my first time... 12 Tacos (3 Pastor, 3 Carne Asada, 3 Carnitas, and 3 Shrimp) and Carne Asada Quesadilla. "You read what I said"!!! Needed a wheelchair to get out the door! WORTH IT! Big Sid has a new "Taco Tuesday" Spot... Don't Believe Me? Then come see me... "Until Next Time America"! BIG SID BAY BAY!!!!“
“They got great food. Simple as that. I ordered first on DoorDash food was awesome than was out and about one day and decided to stop in. Great service they were nice employees and had great customer service I didn't have any problems and the food hit once again leading me to write this review. Will definitely be a go to this place beats out taco mich, Filiberto's, Federico's u name it, and it comes very close to beach house tacos on camelback. Worth a try pictures don't do it justice.“
“Oscar’s is my wife and I go to spot! We live relatively close and when we can’t decide, we always go to Oscar’s.My go to dish is the rolled tacos and as you can see it never disappoints. They have 3 or 5 rolled tacos options to choose room. The beefy to tortilla ratio is perfect, so you’re not eating just tortilla. As you can see they provide you with plenty of avocado and cheese as toppings, which those alone make the rolled tacos delicious. This time I tried the bean tostada. This was amazing and will probably be on list that I’ll continue to order regularly. It had plenty of beans, avocado, cheese. The tortilla itself was still rigged throughout the entire eating process and was not flimsy which tends to happen with some tostados.Try their Red and Green Chile you won’t be disappointed. If you’re near Oscar’s or driving through and want a bite to eat, stop and give this place a try as they’ve got plenty of options and you won’t be disappointed.“
“flavorful food, i enjoyed everything i ordered! the carne asada torta was assembled well and the bread was toasted perfectly. it comes with jalapeños inside but for extra spice i got an order of chile toreados, soo spicy and good. the pepino limonada is refreshing & sweet. i thought it would be more tarty but i still enjoyed it. also had to try their carne asada queso taco and it did not disappoint. the tortilla was full of flavor, would definitely order again. great service and salsa cart as well!“
“I’ll be dreaming of these tacos every day for the rest of my life. Let’s taco bout it. (See what I did there?) if you know me or read my reviews there’s three things I could live on forever. Tacos of course, Pho and Cold Brew. There are a couple taco spots I frequent, but I always listen for new places to check out. If they’re local I definitely have to come and support. My daughter and I were in the mood for some Quesa Birria tacos so I looked around to see what my options were near El Mirage since we were in the area supporting another local spot. My eyes instantly saw Calizona and I knew this was where we were headed. I’ve heard great things and I’m honestly surprised I hadn’t stopped yet since our favorite butcher shop/market for asada and such is so close. I followed the directions and knew where to stop when I saw the red truck. The lot it is parked in is small, but there was decent parking. I can see it filling up quick. It is located in front of a busy tire shop. As I stated it is a food truck so there is no inside seating. There is however multiple tables with tent cover. Each table has a cooler with salsa to keep cold. The menu is simple and so many tasty options. After a few questions we went with six quesa Birria tacos which to my surprise free consommé because we ordered more than three. We ended up with two consommé which was more than enough even with my daughter dunking those tacos like her life depended on it ha ha. Let me tell you if you could win a taco contest on looks and smell alone they’d win every time. Presentation was on point, some lemons topped a few and oh man from the first bite to the last we couldn’t get enough. The flavor was fantastic. The consommé kicked it up to a whole new level and the toppings fresh. We arrived around 1pm so it wasn’t too busy; just a few other people. Service was good and the cashier gave us some salsa containers to fill to take our food with us. It was a bit cold so while we did take it to go we sat and ate it in the car. Make sure you grab plenty of napkins because those juices run wild. Salsa options had a good kick. I already am planning our next visit to bring back more family and try the rest of the menu. If you’re a lover of Birria then run don’t walk. This is definitely a piece of taco heaven in the much needed west valley!Parking: Small lot so at busy times can be tougher to find a place to park, but so worth it!“
“We LOVE Manuel's!!! You make the very best salsa and I usually buy extra to take home. Our meals have always been wonderful.Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff, coloring, good kid meals.Wheelchair accessibility: All accommodations are easily made.“
“Truly the best if you are looking for a welcoming and down to earth atmosphere with fresh food, amazing craft drinks and relaxing and good time. You will never know until you try it. Urban Agave won't disappoint. Oh and try their Cucumber Jalapeno & Cilantro Margaritas and any appetizer or entree. They all rock!“
“Such a cute spot! They had some good food that I really want to go back and try! I was there super early because I was meeting some people there and the waitress mentioned she had just finished a batch of champurrado. OMGosh, it was delicious! So perfect for the cold morning and I even got one to go. Staff was very helpful and just super nice. Great find!“
“**Tacolicioso Food Truck: A Feast for the Senses**Tacolicioso stands as a culinary highlight in the city, a place where I find myself drawn to weekly for their standout dishes: carne asada nachos and vampire tacos. The nachos are a symphony of flavors, with tender carne asada and rich, gooey cheese atop crispy chips, creating an unforgettable bite. The vampire tacos, with their crispy cheese shell and succulent filling, are nothing short of a masterpiece, showcasing Tacolicioso's flair for innovative Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere at Tacolicioso matches the excellence of their food - vibrant, friendly, and utterly welcoming. It's not just a meal; it's an experience, enriched by the warmth of the staff who make every visit special. For anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors with a creative twist, Tacolicioso is a must. It’s more than food; it’s a celebration of culinary artistry that keeps you coming back for more.“
“Food and drinks were amazing! We had chips and salsa (red and green, both fantastic!), shredded beef and carne asada chimichangas (red & green sauce), chile relleno stuffed with carne asada and cheese, palomazo, tequila shots and cerveza. Service was outstanding! The chef came to our table to greet us, we thanked him and he made us a dessert with ice cream, chocolate drizzle and delicious churro-like chips!Parking: Shopping centerKid-friendliness: Booths and tables“
“The food was absolutely amazing. I went here with my family and we decided to try the unique menu items (green enchiladas and grilled cheese both with birria). The drinks are very unique and delicious and the food is so savory. The people working there were also very helpful and kind. I love it here :)“
“My buddy brought me here after months of saying how amazing Oscar's Tacos are. He wasn't wrong; Oscar's is amazing! I highly recommend the Fish Tacos.Order more than two because they're small. Great food for a low price ?“
“This restaurant offers the best carne asada in town. All of their steak dishes are absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The prices are very affordable and the Service is very friendly. I would definitely come check this place out. They have an amazing salsa bar with the best guacamole salsa I've had in a very long time.“
“We got lucky and found the taco truck we had imagined and more! Tacos were phenomenal. The service was outstanding and the young lady who took our order was kind and helpful. The tables were very clean, the limes were fresh and the green and red sauces were amazing! Tripa was on-point.“
“I wish I took a picture before I devoured my food. This place has not disappointed me. I got the Country fried steak and eggs and the helpings are very generous. When I called to ask if I could get a little extra gravy on it they were very nice on the phone and and made sure I had plenty of gravy :) so thank you!“
“Came here for the first time yesterday. Hubby had the lunch special and I had an enchilada plate. Everything was very good. Great prices and we loved that it was an assembly line to order. Ensures your order comes out correct and you get exactly what you want. Great atmosphere, although maybe play some music or something. It was very quiet in there, which is a little weird when there’s a lot of people with good food. I like when restaurants have the soda fill station out so you can refill whenever you want so that was another plus. Definitely worth a visit.“
“This place is delicious!Walking into Lito’s Mexican Restaurant felt like being wrapped in a warm embrace, a promise of good things to come, and oh, did they deliver! We were greeted by the friendliest gentleman who, upon hearing it was our first visit, took his time to walk us through the menu with such enthusiasm, you could tell he loved what he did. This wasn’t just dining; it felt like being welcomed into a family meal. The food was the star of the show. I found myself in a love affair with a red tamale, while the rice, beans, chips, and salsa were like the perfect supporting characters in this culinary drama. Every bite was a testament to the authentic flavors and care put into their food.My husband, meanwhile, tackled the monster chicken burrito and between bites, managed to declare it “amazing”. It’s not every day you see him so impressed. What truly touched us was the server’s apology for what he called a “long” wait – which, honestly, hadn’t felt long at all. It’s the small gestures of care that set Lito’s apart. The food arrived steaming hot, a clear sign of their commitment to serve the best. Our lunch at Lito’s wasn’t just about trying out a new restaurant; it was an experience, a journey to a place where food is made with passion and served with love. The vibrant flavors, the warm welcome, and the cozy atmosphere have left a lasting impression on us.To anyone pondering where to dine next, let me say this: Lito’s is more than a meal; it’s a place where memories are made, and taste buds are forever spoiled. Five stars aren’t enough to capture the magic of Lito’s.“
“Our favorite spot for a quick bite in Phoenix! Everything is consistently excellent. We loved it so much that we even grabbed some breakfast burritos to enjoy for the next few mornings. Could easily make this place a regular for every meal.“
“The tacos were great the Cheese Quesadilla was well it was over priced but ok. One more thing if your eating there cool if your getting it to go check your food before you leave. You can see the difference in the videos I posted. (Just the tacos. (dine in) (Tacos and Cheese quesadilla. (take out)Dietary restrictions: They have a keto taco that's really good“
“Nice spot to grab a quick and delicious Mexican dish. Staff is super nice & the owners are AMAZING! Quaint environment that has many traditional dishes but also offers hyped up versions too. To summarize, yummy recipes for super reasonable prices. It is a great place to take friends & family for a good little...or big meal to remind you of family get-togethers. Very nostalgic & leaves you wanting to come back for more. Me & my family love it - hope you ENJOY too!“
“We hadn't been here in at least a year because we did not like the food. We decided to test it again. It was so much better. We will go back. We used the computer screen to pay our bill and realized we only tipped 15 cents instead of 15%. I hope to make it up to Maya soon. She is a good waitress. We didn't notice our mistake until we got home“
“Visiting here from Louisiana, Love the taste of Popo’s . I had the chile relleno, machaca taco, rice and beans, and flour tortillas. It was deliciosa. I’ll be here for a few weeks and I’m planning on returning for another great deliciosa dinner .“
“Let's talk about the frybread. It was tasty and delicious. The chile meat was almost as close to my mom's as I've ever had. I enjoyed it. As for the pozole... it was okay. Why just okay? There was too much oregano in mine. I was looking at the other pictures and videos of the menudo and pozole, and the other ones did not have as much oregano as mine had. The meat and hominy were cooked perfectly, but it was the overpowering taste of the oregano that got to me. I can't take away a star for something not meeting my taste buds' requirements. I can only tell you what I think of the restaurant. The staff was prompt and friendly, and it was very clean as well.“
“Muy amable desde que entras , el café está rico, lo que comimos tacos gobernador muy buen sabor la birria y su consomé. Ambiente tranquilo sin música fuerte da chanza e platicar a gusto. Un dato ; no estuvieron presentes pregunte y pregunté que si ocupábamos algo más nos dejaron platicar y fueron espacio. Altamente remendado para un desayuno tranquilo.“
“As with most open concept restaurants, it is loud. Everything else was fantastic! Our server/bartender was amazing. We ordered the chicharon pork belly tacos were amazing as well as the salsas and guacamole. We also had their butter cake. It was great.“
“If you're looking for a new mexican spot, then this one is it. I ordered the Burro Tatemado, and it was delicious ?. The only thing is they didn't add enough cheese to the burro. Place was packed the two times I went (and yes, I ordered the same thing both times). I just wanted to confirm my recommendation. The place is clean and the staff is nice. A good little spot to end a Friday or Saturday. Please let me know what you think. I will be back and will make sure to take pictures for you visual lovers like me.“
“My Girlfriend and I have been trying to find a good mexican food place for awhile now in goodyear. We came here because the majority of reviews were positive. We are stoked that we did! The customer service was incredible. A great atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. We are going to make this one our regular spots from now on!“

“First of all, the place is very clean and the service was good and very friendly and the cakes that I tried were the asada one recommended by Arely who served us very well and the other was the Cuban cake, I and my wife shared it and to drink I tried an agua very delicious cucumber with lemon. We will try the rest again as I am sure it will be good too.“
“It's beautiful. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere is very family friendly and brings in a crowd of locals. It did take about 10 minutes or more to get seated and about a little over half an hour to get served our food as there are large groups. But the food is phenomenal! I ordered chilaquiles red and green and they were spicy and savory, homemade french toast, the softest fried steak and a really delicious bacon and egg biscuit. If you don't mind waiting, this cozy Mexican restaurant (serves some American items) is definitely worth checking out! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“¡Amigos! Estilo Azteca is a hidden gem. Fresh and AUTHENTIC Mexican food! Their service is top notch, with Maria providing excellent customer service in the front of the house and Leo serving delicious comida from the kitchen. We ordered the huarache, carne asada burrito, and horchata (with FREE refills) AND free flan for dessert... ÓRALE! Can't wait to come back to try the chilaquiles and other unique plates. It truly was like sitting in your abuela's cocina. Don't hesitate supporting this family-owned restaurant. You will not be disappointed! Northwest corner of 51st Ave & Peoria Ave. Thank you, Maria and Leo! We will be back!“
“They took forever, but it was so worth it. the portions are huge and the food was delicious. We got the enchiladas. Ceviche and shrimp quesadillas we could have totally shared 2 plates between the 3 of us, but we loved the leftovers. Our new favorite marisco place for sure. Service was good, but one girl was serving 4 tables, so we had to keep reminding her for things she was nice though. It was pricy $100 but we did get a lot of food, and it was good, so it was worth it for us. It was really cold in the restaurant but than again it's a mariscos restaurant.“
“Decent food. Great service. My burrito was somewhat salty but tasty. If I had known they use canned chicken I would have gone with the grilled chicken burrito for an additional $1.50. Everything else was delicious. Atmosphere was ok - fluorescent lighting but nice clean place. Would definitely go again.“
“Somethings you should know about ElGordo #9 It is diagonal in the intersection of Cactus and N 67th Ave. It is behind gas pumps. El Gordo is inside a gas station that has a lobby. There is a Chandelier in the lobby. The floor is so clean you can eat Mexican Food off it. Any marks you see on the floor are marks, not dirt. They don't do any mechanical work at the gas station. You can get gas in two ways. Before you go inside you should read the big signs on the outside to your left. They advertise specials. There is no music. There are so many choices on the menu. The portions of rice and beans are small. The food is generally inexpensive. They have a salsa, which is "rough" tasting. It is unique. You should try some. To do that you have to go there. You should. How can you pass up a gas station that has a lobby, a chandelier and serves very good (four star) Mexican food. The experience makes this five stars. One final page out of history El Gordo #9 occupies was formerly was the home of Casa De Falafel“
“Came for lunch and I thought this place was excellent for price, service and most importantly great tasting! I had the Carne Asada burrito and it was plenty. They have all kinds of stuff I want to try next, this may be my go to spot when I don't bring a lunch.“
“Today was the first time that I visited La Cahuamanta and I was guided by the reviews and they really weren't wrong. Super delicious .....!! Just take cash, they don't accept cards!!Kid-friendliness: They have nuggets fries and hamburgersParking: You have a lot to park your car“
“Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Exceeded my expectations. Been coming here for several years and love it. The staff is kind and attentive to questions. The combo portions are great and there's a lot of variety. I'm a huge fan of the BOGO combo coupon in the ValuPak. Great place to eat as a family with 3 kids.Kid-friendliness: The front end employee provided water cups for each of my kids. She was kind. Kids love the quesadilla and fries.“
