“I was in Yuma for a month to care for my mom, who happens to be Thai. We went to Aroi Thai multiple times each week. This is by far the best Thai restaurant that I have ever been to. The food is as authentic as can be. Delicious Tom Yum Gai (hot and sour chicken hot pot), phenomenal sticky rice and mango, and I also really loved the Yum Neua (beef salad). Just amazing all around. I live in Wisconsin, but you can be certain that Aroi Thai will be my first stop when I’m back in town!!”

“We stopped for lunch on our way to CA. Food was fantastic. My mother said the coleslaw was the best she ever tasted. My husband had the meat plate - the smoked brisket was excellent. He also complimented the beans and the BBQ sauce. They had a couple different sour beer options which also made him happy. \nService was good and wait staff friendly. We asked for our check upon receiving our food so we could get back to our travel efficiently and they accommodated. \nLocation is close to I8. Very convenient. \nIndoor and outdoor seating options.”

“Heidi, who works at this Subway, made my sandwich this morning, 😋. She did a Most Outstanding job, so I asked if I could give her a tip. She said they are NOT allowed to accept tips. The manager at this Subway should change that rule here. This is the 1st Subway that won't allow tips for the employees, that I have come across. My husband & I drive truck, from East coast to West coast, so we have been to many Subways in between. In the Food world, when a customer wants to show Appreciation to the Server/Chef or Sandwich Artisan,, you can leave them a tip, usually. It would be a Lovely gesture if the manager here at the Yuma, Loves Subway would Start allowing tips for their Sandwich Artisans, please.”

“I just wanna say( and told many of my co workers) that this location is the best of all in Yuma Co. This place always has kept there place clean. The food always taste and comes out better. Many time they offer the free stuff that are advertised even if we don't know it or don't pay attention. We have gone to other locations and either someone don't know how to count to five(5 piece chicken nugget) or no cheese means NO CHEESE. Somerton, you guys got tooooo many flies, flying around the Windows. My drive thru order is always wrong. Yes I told your district managers. It's sad that we have to go this 32nd St one just to get better food and service.( good job guys)One very important thing is that I'm very glad they don't offer the indoor play ground, why? Cause I don't need to see trash or dirty diapers in or laying around like McCrap.”

Our agenda for the next morning just became clear: experience “Penny’s Diner.”\n\nFrom the exterior it appeared to be the quintessential “greasy spoon.” Sadly, such places are often overlooked and under appreciated, but I find the charm of an inexpensive diner undeniable. Hold the pretense and just hit me with some comfort food and a side of friendly service!\n \nThe first things you’ll notice when you enter Penny’s are the carefully curated 50’s music playing, the associated time period memorabilia, and the sizzling of the grill. Ah, ambiance!\n\nInspired by this experience I’ve decided that if I ever run for city council my campaign platform will include a resolution that all “greasy spoons” located within city limits be required to serve hash browns with every meal. Order of eggs? Your side of hash browns are part of the package. How about oatmeal, a bran muffin, or bowl of cereal? “Very cute little coffee shop. My daughter and I popped in as we are still new to the area. Staff is super friendly. Coffee was delicious. Food was great. My only caveat is that they did forget about our food after we ordered so we waited about 20 minutes before we went to ask about it. However, as a small business I understand these things happen. I did not take points off because of how they handled it. Which is what matters in my eyes. Amazing little place. We will definitely be back.”

“Man what can I say about ronnies that I haven't said before in person. Ronnie's is a staple in Yuma. one of the oldest pizzerias that has survived the test of time. They survived the pandemic and they'll probably be around 30 40 years if not longer. great pizza great atmosphere. If anybody hasn't been there it's just a little hole in the wall spot but they got a lot of memorabilia lot of famous people have come to eat there because the food is awesome. The staff is pretty cool never had any issues with anybody there. and they have hands down the best strombolis in town! do yourself a favor and check out the best pizzeria in Yuma Arizona with probably some of the friendliest staff and most definitely some of the best Italian food in the county!!!! they deserve a 10-star rating!!!!💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽”
