“Solid local Indian take out. Not cheap. Good food. Portions are average. Flavours are on point. Expect $25-30 per person. Inside is always very clean and the family that runs it is always very kind, friendly and helpful. The dining area is bare bones. Definitely not the place to go take a date for a nice sit down meal. It is a great spot to pre order and take away. Would recommend if your plan is to eat at home. .“
“They have done nothing but improve my impression of their establishment over the years.A nice place to take a friend for lunch or dinner and its our go to for take out. Selection, quality, flavor, and courteous service is above all the other similar cuisine restaurants in the area.Best veg pakoras..yummmm!Vegetarian options: My vegetarian coworker is always pleased with his food when we order.“
“The dosas here are probably the best we've had in Vancouver. We also got the special chicken 65 biryani which was just okay, but really want to come back to try the regular chicken biryani. We also ordered the pepper prawn curry which was really great. Ended with some creamy delicious rasmalai. The service was quick too!“
“Super nice homey place food is delicious. Would definitely recommend.Very welcoming place and small great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly.Come here try the food you want regret it :)Vegetarian options: All vegetarianWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking and place is on the ground floor“
“Best Hyderabadi briyani place in whole BC I would say, taste wise no competitors yet, although many are trying to, still these people provide the best version of Hyderabadi briyani so far. Tried their Chicken and goat briyani both. This is a shared kitchen, so only available if you order, I would recommend trying out their family pack, which is best in Quantity and quality, also another thing to note, this is located in a industrial area surrounded by industries around, so finding them for first time will be a challenge but do call them and find them with their help, or check google map ofcourse.“
“We were visiting the lower mainland and decided to order Indian for lunch. We got 2 lunch specials and 3 veg samosas split for 3 people. Huge portions so we were all stuffed. Super delicious and I'll definitely be back next time I'm visiting!!“
“I think the food from Chakra is delicious but unfortunately too spicy for my family. Not really the restaurant's fault we are wimps for spicy but I guess for us, the search goes on.Ordered takeout and requested mild for everything and added a note that if possible, make things not spicy at all.In order from least spicy to most:Lamb korma - not spicyButter chicken - a bit spicy.Palak paneer - spicyEggplant Bhartha - too spicy. Hurts to eat it.The garlic naan was 1 big piece and I thought it would be bigger.“
“I have known Ian and Sophia for many years now and I can tell you that they’re not just friends but family now, I have taken many different friends to this restaurant and everyone has gone back because the food is delicious, I recommend the Dai Chin Chicken, chicken Masala rice, Spicy Green Beans, but the truth is all the dishes are excellent, Don’t believe me just try it yourself. The best INDIAN STYLE CHINESE CUISINE in town.“
“Did delivery of 3 large veggie pizzas.Ordered for the first time and the Indian taste was plenty on the pizzas, which is what we were looking for ?.Great service and delivery and the person was prompt on response over phoneDef recommend and would try it again next time!Vegetarian options: Good choice of veg options, keep it going!“
“Today i went to this amazing Indian restaurant with my 2 friends. It was such a great experience. Their customer service was on the top as well as food was delicious. I tried coconut mango chicken, gol gappay , spring rolls it was mouth watering ? ?Thank you to all the resturant staff for making my day ❤️ ? i will come back again and again for this delicious food“
“It’s a good small restaurant if you want to have a delicious Indian food. The ambiance is superb, they have a special wall mounted with antique artifacts which adds to the aesthetic. We tried aloo tikki chat, kadai paneer and naan. Food is up to the mark for Indian taste. Must try if you are nearby Metrotown.Vegetarian options: Paneer kadai“
“We were getting together after work, so we made a reservation here as it was close to work and we have enjoyed their food for lunch. There were a few tables enjoying a meal but it was a quiet Thursday night. Later it felt like we had the place to ourself which was nice.I ordered a Mango Lassi on a recommendation of my coworker. A toddler at our table enjoyed one as well. It was sweet and refreshing with the yogurt. I’d have it again. For dinner I ordered Lamb Curry and Steamed Rice. The rice made a great sauce delivery vehicle for the curry! The curry was amazing and the lamb was very tender! They went well with the rice. It was so good I finished it all rather than saving some for lunch the next day!The service was great and they took our picture afterwards, which was nice. We’d come here again for dinner or order takeout for lunch anytime!Parking: Strip mall parking in lot along with street parking so lots of options.“
“Absolutely delicious indian cuisine. Hands down the best paneer pakora I've ever had. Had the butter chicken and lamb korma as well, and they were fabulous. Their stuffed naan with chicken and other kinds are so good and well worth it.The staff are so nice and very good at what they do. Thank you so much, Agra Family!“
“This is a nice little shop that sells all kinds of sweets and savoury Indian foods. I first had their samosas at a friend’s house, and it was very good so I decided to buy my samosas from here from then on. When I arrived in the morning, the place was very clean and there was someone still cleaning. The server is very friendly and helpful to those not knowing exactly what to get. There is even access to a sink so you can wash your hands if you wanted to eat your food there. Prices are very reasonable too. Their samosas are not greasy and full of dough. They are very flavourful too. You can’t beat these at $1 each!“
“We were there last night for a large dinner party. The host was very nice and welcoming everyone as they entered. The food tasted very good and there was quite a variety. The service was excellent and the servers went beyond.Samosas and lapsi were excellent. The restaurant looked clean and the lighting was good. The washrooms very clean too. They let us enjoy and we didn't feel pressured to leave.I definitely recommend eating there or having a partyKid-friendliness: Kids has their own table and having a lot of funWheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“they make very fresh food and naan, prices are very reasonale, butter chicken and curry chicken are so so good !and convenent to get there, close to lougheed sky train. service is good, food fast, for sure will be come next time soon!“
“i tryed other places like pizzahut and Domino's but there pizza is a little over price and made poorly, were this place is lot better, form the bread to the cheese and even the sauce is just amazing, even perfected at time, it more then worth the wait and price. and the staff is so friendly and kind and i can even say the same thing about the owners to boot very rare this days. if i can give them more then 5 stars i would it more like 10 stars.Vegetarian options: i got a friend who is a vegetarian and even say she really likes her pizza and she can be picky at times.Kid-friendliness: i seen kids hang around there and even play there and i had no problem with any of the kids or seen any bad ones, so it looks like a great place for kids to hang out with here friends after school.“
“THE FOOD: The mango faluda is just mango syrup with seends, etc. (not that great) / I don't recommend it.The samosa chaat was GREAT and the paan made today was AMAZING.The lady serving today, I feel for her because she was alone and working very hard. Only one thing i noticed (could be nothing) is that she had sniffles and should have work gloves and maybe a mask (especially these days).Overall a good experience, just wish the server used gloves to make paan (I have been to locations in the GTA and Calgary, they wear gloves there).“
“Heard great things about this Indian-East African fusion restaurant and was eager to try it - the experience didn't disappoint! There was plenty of space to walk-in and dine inside, and the staff prepared the food in a very timely and efficient manner. The beef kebabs were quite tasty and very crispy, seasoned well without being overpowering in terms of space. The Zanzibar kuku paka was delicious and highly recommended - it's a coconut-based curry dish with bone-in chicken and potatoes, served with fresh garlic naan and seasoned vegetables to garnish on the side. The portion size was massive and definitely hit the spot after a long day. Highly recommend visiting this spot for some very tasty and interesting Halal food!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: HalalParking: Street parkingKid-friendliness: Kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
