I also appreciate that they listen when I ask for less oil/ghee - We found our new fav Indian restaurant!!!Vegetarian options: Aloo Gobi is fantastic!”

“Amazing Chinese northern do-it-yourself BBQ. We came here around 10 and the owner was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered some beef and DO get the lettuce! My wife was talent enough to make the best sauce and sorry if you don’t have one, but their sauce bar is amazing with small dishes and a wide selection of choices. Overall great experience, and we will definitely come back for late dinner and snacks.By the way, order the yogurt donut as your desert. Best in the town!”

“I have been visiting Fior Di Latte since I moved into the neighbourhood 4 years ago. Their lattes are always beautifully delicious. One of my favourites are their beef or spinach and feta pitas. Their sweet flaky pastries are also to die for and I've never had one I didn't enjoy!I love that they make their own gelato in-house. I recently came home with a pint of the sour Cherry and chocolate gelato. It was the creamiest gelato I have ever had!Service is amazing and the atmosphere is so comfortable.I highly recommend this cafe!”

I had given up on good Taiwanese food in Vancouver for so long because I've been disappointed so many times but this place really gave me hope again! We got the combo for 2 and it was so worth it. The combo came with two black teas, two dishes of our choice, and a stir fry vegetable dish and a deep fried tofu dish. It only costed 38$. This is one of my best restaurant finds in a while. I HIGHLY recommend it!”
“We tried this place out during Bite of Burnaby and we were blown away at how good this place is. We tried the fried frog legs, crab soup noodle, chicken on rice and vietnamese ice coffee. All the food were incredibly delicious. The portions were also generous. The flavor of their food is unique and I would go back to try other items on their menu next time. The staff there were very friendly. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere and felt clean. Not your typical vietnamese restaurant experience.”

“Always had a small issues about conversation, but I was able to see they were trying to do their best, and loved always loved sandwiches. I assume I got around 60 or more cookies from here. Last time, I recieved luxurious beef slices in my marinara sandwich when they had no slices of pepperoni left.Vegetarian options: There are veggie sandwiches if you want. I was not fan of it as I am a meat lover, but was fresh and cheap.Parking: Free parking lot next to it with enough spaces.”

There was a lot of cash sitting in my wallet and all the typical items in a wallet. Ishika found the items and kept it in safe storage for me. I am so grateful she is a kind person that is guided by very good values. I tried to offer her a 50 dollars tip to show my appreciation and gratuity. As for foreign visitors, single-time tickets are also allowed to enter during business hours, but there are no restrictions on dining times. The restaurant has a high C/P value for students or visitors. It has a large dining space, an aesthetically pleasing layout, and a wide variety of dishes. There are many healthy organic ingredients, such as lettuce salad, organic fruits, pizza, and individuals can prepare their own fresh milk juices. , you can also prepare side dishes by yourself, ask the on-site chef to prepare fried noodles and rice, freshly brewed coffee, various sodas and cola juices, various cooked foods, various after-dinner desserts, ice cream, etc. It is a rich experience. The four of us visitors came to dine at 12 o'clock and finished the meal at 3 pm. During the period, we chatted while eating. We were satisfied and happy with the meal. When taking my order he had the most welcoming energy, he spoke kindly, and was very courteous… His tone was caring and genuine, and I felt so welcomed… Never have I felt this way at a fast food or restaurant venue… This was next level hospitality, but I believe, it’s because he was sincere and authentically just a wonderful person! A man of exemplary calibre! A rare gem in this industry… When the food was ready, he waved out to me from the window… I just want to say a heartfelt thank you! “This place has opened for a while in my little neighborhood at Royal Oak. I thought I would give it a try to support small businesses in the pandemic. The owner made The crepe with love. He kept asking me to sit outside his store so his crepe will be nice and fresh. I said I live like a minute away. Then he gave me a container of his whipped cream to take home so his crepe wouldn’t be soggy. nice guy. When I had a bite of the crepe, I was surprised by how thin but crispy his crepe was. His salted caramel sauce was buttery but not overpowering. He was also very nice and generous in the fruits and topics which I appreciated”

“My experience with this food store was so amazing. I visited here very first time with my gf. We ordered Medium $12 pizza deal.They prepped our pizza in front of us. They called us for choosing the toppings. We were surprised to see how they were making our pizza. It just took 5-7 minutes to our pizza. Me and my gf planned to do dine-in. We bought couple of things like dips and drinks too. And we had beautiful time in store with yummy food. First time ever we finished our whole pizza and i think it was because of loaded toppings.We will definitely come again!”

“My friends told me that there was a Korean snack restaurant, so I went there. At that time, I thought I wanted to eat cool and spicy Jjamppong, and it happened to be on the menu, so I ordered it right away. I didn't have high expectations for Jjamppong since I first went there after hearing that it was a snack bar. But that was my big mistake. It was so refreshing and spicy, and even the smell of fire was perfect. :-) I would like to try other menus on my next visit. Be sure to visit if you're near North Burnaby! I recommend it.”

It was the perfect crispy light snack that hit the spot. I ordered the mango milk tea with 30% sugar with little ice. I assume all bubble tea shops give you a choice of sugar and ice levels. The one employee was very helpful in explaining the choices to us. This tea shop appears to be a very popular shop for takeout as well. He was very apologetic to a customer who came in to pick up an order that wasn’t quite ready. As we were leaving, the shop became very busy. Kudos to the lone employee working here!”

No more than 6-7 people can fit inside, hence the seats outside and behind the restaurant. Restaurant holds the 50s theme inside and uses an old milkshake mixing machine, which was a nice touch. No washroom available, so make sure you have something to clean your hands with.Service was neutral, nothing much to talk about. We order, wait, get the food, and eat. Honestly, it doesn't make a memorable experience, but my expectations weren't high.The food, however, impressed me. Thick cut grandma fries were alright, and some don't maintain crispness for a long period of time. The LA burger, on the other hand, was very nice. Housemade bun held all the ingredients together and did not crumble. The patty was nicely seasoned and had the grill char flavor. Had 3 soup options the day we went. He offers a lunch dish option also. Update: I went 2 more times, but today at 11 am March 4th, we tried again. He greeted us, busy so we sat and sat and waited, never took our order. In the meantime, others ordered to go so their orders first. Finally, we left. Needs another person to work lunchtime. Too busy. Waits for food are long. He is too busy trying to do it all.”

The place looks more like an ice cream or dessert shop with the black and pink stripes on the wall, as well as the flower looking lighting fixtures. Staff are friendly. Looks like 2 friends run this place. My food took some 20+ minutes to arrive, so they gave me a free green tea while I was waiting, which was nice. Also nice to see they make the food fresh. Seafood poke bowl - salmon and tuna chunks with a prawn on top. Served with shredded carrots, broccoli, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes. Bowl was honestly a bit on the smaller side. Tasted fine though. West coast roll - crab, prawn tempura, spicy tuna, scallop. Served warm (guessing it's the tempura). Tasty. Overall this place is pretty good. The other added bonus is they're open quite late (2300 most days as of the time of writing). Recommended.”

They have donuts, croissants, pastries, cookies and ice cream. They also have coffee and other drinks. We went on a Sunday and there was only one person working. It was surprisingly quiet compared to the first location. I got a croissant and B got a coffee bun. The croissant was nice, flaky and fluffy. For $3.75 can't complain. B really liked their coffee bun. It has butter coffee filling inside which is very different. The location is very convenient. It is walking distance beside the skytrain. I will definitely go back for other treats.”

She had naan and butter chicken and lamb curry. I said yes, please. She arrived and announced she had dessert as well rice pudding and something called a "honey ball". I exercised my adult privilege and ate dessert first! The consistency of the rice made it the pudding. It was silky and melted in your mouth. Western rice pudding like Kozy Shack the rice sits in the pudding like mixture. The rice here was suspended in a cold sugary broth. The creamy cold broth like lake was sugary but not cloying. That honey ball was like a 5 star, Heavyweight Champion World Cup winning donut hole. The cake was spongy and its outer layers soaked in that broth however the cake and shape retained its integrity. It was heavenly and sublime. Then I had just a taste of the food Best Lamb Curry I've ever had. Meat was seasoned so well and it melted in your mouth. The homemade Naan was so perfect. “This just might be my new favourite hot pot restaurant. I loved the combination of foods that came in my Vegetarian set, and was very impressed with the flavor of the broth once I had finished cooking and eating everything on my tray. I've experienced very salty broth at other hot pot restaurants, especially if they refill my pot with more broth instead of plain hot water. Here, they refilled with broth but the soup was still good to drink at the end of evening, and not overly salty. Plus, the meal came with a drink as well as an ice cream cone, and I do love my ice cream!We've been to other hot pot restaurants that are AYCE but I think I prefer having a set meal. I’m usually very sensitive to MSG in food but couldn’t detect any in any of their dishes which is a huge plus for me. Good quality ingredients prepared professionally! “We have had dim sum and regular dinners here a few times and now it’s almost the end of King Crab KC season BUT a few other restaurants we called first could not positively confirm the availability so we decided to come back to Lee Garden BBY who guaranteed they still had abundant supplies. So a day before we ordered over the phone the KC set dinner for 4 ( for the three of us)Although we have been here a few times, we didn’t know any of the staff but we were still greeted by a very welcoming manager Wallace, who showed us our crab and I took a photo to compare when it returned on dish (heard too many scams in some other restaurants which swap crabs)…. It was TGIF and there were groups of happy customers and almost every table was enjoying their KC dinners!!All the 5 dishes and the soup included in the set were very tasty and in big portion….in fact we took home the last two fish dishes and the fried rice….they lasted for another two meals….)Our favorite was the garlic KC, but the salt & pepper KC was also very yummy. All through the dinner, another manager Roy and his team continued to provide very friendly service.Our wonderful Friday evening concluded with the desserts provided and the overall bill included tips and everything (no alcohol) was a bit over $600. “This place is amazing. I’ve been here two times and both times they didn’t disappoint, staff were very attentive and accommodating with me and my mother. There are many things and combinations to choose from on the menu. I ordered the triple iron plate with Grilled Squid, 3 Lamb Skewers, and Deep Fried Fish Filet with a Sunny Side-up Egg and noodles (w/ corn, peas and carrots). The Mushroom Tomato sauce compliments the meat and noodles when drizzled on top. It is so0o0o delicious. I also ordered the Assorted Fried Basket A1 (mix of breaded chicken nuggets, Taiwanese sausage, fish cakes, prawn crackers, and green beans). I recommend getting the Brown Garlic Dipping Sauce - it cost $0.75 extra but totally worth it with the basket. I also ordered a Mango Slush with Boba Pearls + Pudding. I would definitely come back again to try other dishes.”
