“The food was so good! My favourite place to get cold noodles. Many things on the menu and all the things we tried were delicious. Owners were so nice, it seemed there were only 2 people working though so at busy hours it may take a little longer to get your food. Not a big issue, the food was top tier so we didn't mind. I'm introducing my friends to Korean food through this restaurant!“
“Food was good, nothing too crazy, they could have a larger variety of sauces to go with the grilled meat. They were quite fast for changing out the grill which was nice. The ventilation in our room was kinda slow, it got Smokey fast. Parking is tight/packed too.“
“Great place to order chicken from! I have been a loyal customer here for 2 years now, i have been ordering from uber eats. This is the best location so far!!! Never gonna cheat on this location anymore. Best chicken, big servings, always always fresh and hot food. Zero complaints!! 2 servings of boneless chicken feeds my family of 6! Highly recommend. Don’t order from other locations, only this!!!“
“You can't even comprehend how amazing this food is, seriously juicy amazing chicken with the most crispy crust on the outside. The staffer are always so friendly, one mistake I should have gotten the cilantro spicy sauce to dip this in because I had it last time and it was absolutely mind blowingly delicious!!! ?? The prices are unbelievably reasonable for how amazing their food/chicken is. I'm sad that they're not open on Wednesdays/ chicken wing Wednesdays here would be my all-time favorite go-to!“
“The food is very close to 'home made' and natural. Tried the pancakes that were thick and kinda on the firm side which tells me it's likely better ingredients used. Options were plenty with their ability to slightly customize their dishes within reason to meet my dietary specifics. Very nice staff but a bit pushy for a Sunday morning where it wasn't packed. Felt a bit rushed. Ambiance was alright but it was the food I went for and I was not disappointed. Kids loved it. Wife liked it. There's more parking at the back.“
“In short, it could be seen as a clean seafood Korean restaurant. The atmosphere is so clean and spicy that it makes you want to drink soju even during the day. It is not a residential area or a shopping mall, so it is quiet during the day but is expected to be very crowded in the evening. Since they are open until 11 o'clock, most sales seem to be made at night.“
“Stopped by for a late lunch and it wasn't very busy on the weekend. We were seated promptly at a table. The restaurant is quite large and I can see it being good for large groups. We tried the gogi kalgooksu and sogogi dolsot bibimbap. The banchan was kimchi radish, kimchi, and beansprouts. The gogi kalguksu was tasty. The broth was flavourful and the portion was pretty good, with plenty of veggies and beef. The sogogi dolsot bibimbap had lots of veggies and beef as well. The bowl could have been hotter to crisp up the rice. There were some crispy bits on the very bottom, but I think there could have been more. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and service was good. Food came out fast. If I'm in the area, I would come back to try other items.“
“Portions are insane, this was a delightful little Korean restaurant to chance upon while in Coquitlam, ordered black bean noodle with the $5 size up and got a massive bowl of black bean noodles for $17 total. Japchae was also quite good, they did not skimp out on ingredients. Will be back with a larger appetite and more friends!“
“Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a gem of a hole in the wall. The ramen was delicious and well spiced--the flavour and umami of it is great! The chasu and smoked pork are so tender and absolutely fantastic, the pork really does just melt in your mouth. I think the only thing I'd like, is if they were part of a delivery service.“
“Not bad at all. In the era of fewer Korean pork cuttlet restaurants, Daeji was only one option to try Korean cuttlet with the various menus. But there are many Japanese style Korean cutlet restaurants in the lower main land currently. Daeji menus are more friendly to Korean abput 40 to 50 ages.I go to the fancy Jap-Kor style cuttlet restaurant, too, but I recommend Daeji if you try the old school with a pork cuttlet with thick gravy sauce instead of fruit based gravy sauce. Also, I like the Kimchi fried rice with a good portion.“
“The quality of their meat compared to other Korean bbq in town. Tender without tendons or any chewing bits beautiful marbling of the beef. It’s on a different level, as if comparinf toyota to mercedes. Amazing food. Amazing staff amazing price.“
“As an absolute food crazed individual I have to say Chef Han's restaurant Kosoo + Raw Bar is one of my favourite restaurants, here and abroad, so far. The chef was away for a while, on his return we visited and it was brilliant as usual. I have never been disappointed only always impressed beyond my expectations. Welcome back Chef Han!“
“I’ve come here a lot! I always order tteokbokki and kimbab! I love that you get a teapot of soup when you first enter and that you can pick the spicy level of the tteokbokki. It’s the best tteokbokki in ktown in my opinion and I have tried it at many locations in the area! It is also the best value!“
“Cool tiny little shop. Prices at a glance seem quite expensive but the portions seem to match them. Tastes is great but nothing special, and the decorations in general contain a flare of old Korean restaurants. It's always busy so make sure to call ahead or prepare to wait 30+ minutes“
“My girlfriend loves kimchi dumplings, and she really likes the kimchi dumplings here.[ I only like meat dumplings, but meat dumplings are ‘average’ to me. (Tastes vary from person to person, so don't trust my taste.)]My girlfriend has the happiest face in the world when she eats the kimchi dumplings here.If you are a foreigner who is interested in Korean culture and want to try Korean kimchi dumplings, I personally recommend them. Also, if you order over the phone, they will be very accommodating.Parking: This place is located in Koreatown.During busy times, parking is difficult (1130-1500), but at other times, parking is easy.Excluding weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)!!“
“My hubby’s sister came to visit us, she would like to try Korean food. We came across this restaurant. We ordered the pork hocks with oriental herbs, boiled squid, army soup and honey butter chicken. I would strongly recommend the pork hocks, even I’m not a fan of pork hocks but this is one of the best hocks I have tried so far.“
“This little gem is one of my go to. I would say that they are one of the OG Korean corn dog places before all the chains etc showed up. They have great menu choices at affordable prices. Staff is generally friendly. Food tastes great. I usually try to go to other stalls when I'm having lunch there but I always default back to Tokki.“
“Nothing like warm soup on a cold day. Came here with family & service was quick & efficient. Typical set up of tables and booths located in plaza near Hmart so plenty of parking. Seafood Pancake - this nailed it for the top crispy part of a seafood Pancake but the bottom of pancake was absent or missing. Maybe they were trying for a less heavy pancake but for the price I expected a bit more. Bolgolgi & Octopus Hot Pot - good size for sharing between 2 people and maybe a 3rd with a smaller appetite. Good portion of flavorful beef & octopus. Feel the place should be rated a bit higher than what it is currently.“
“This is a restaurant I often visit when I go to Coquitlam Center. When you feel like having a beer, it's close to the skytrain station, so it's a great place to visit without a car, and it's also great to take a leisurely stroll around Lafarge Lake after a hearty meal. My favorite menu item here is the assorted pork cutlet. It is softer, crispier, and more delicious than any other pork cutlet restaurant. ? When I eat fried food, I thought of spicy food, so I ordered tteokbokki and it was delicious. And friendly staff and owner!! It's best. The sweet and sour pork served as a service was also very delicious! ah!! The chicken here is delicious too! Unfortunately, I can't find a picture of the chicken. This is a place I completely recommend. ?“
“I was really craving altang, so I was looking for it and came across a place here, so I had it delivered! I was worried because I had never tried it before in Vancouver, but it was so delicious because it had plenty of roe, radish, tofu, and vegetables, and most of all, the seasoning was spicy!! The pickled onions are also delicious. Next time, I'm going to try the steamed monkfish.“
“Honestly these guys are the king of fried chicken!! Try all sauses. Especially the soy.Everything made fresh to order and great customer service! We always get 2 kinds of chicken. One soy, and one plain. With all the sauses on the side to try them all. We would often do take out and bring to the park in summer. 10/10 would recommend!“
“Alway get thier special tabom chicken and if you asked them to make the cheese melt more they will blow torch it for you which causes and unexpectedly amazing smoky taste, if you like that type of flavouring. Dak ghalbi is always flavorful and their yogurt plain soju is always an amazing paring with the food. I dont recommend any of the other flavours of soju other than the plain because they dont pair well with the food. Never skip out on adding cheese to any order it always adds flavour like no tomorrow.“
“I drive all the way from Richmond just to eat here. The portions are so damn big and the food tastes so good. The staff and owners are very friendly and these factors to come together to produce such a pleasant atmosphere.Ordering the combo yields the best value and I'd recommend getting the sauce on the side so you can 1) choose how much you want and 2) can taste but the with/without sauce taste!“
“The fiery aroma and spicy taste of chicken feet took all my stress away. The sundae soup is clean and rich in taste without any unpleasant smell!!It was so delicious!!! Enjoying a drink with friendsIt was so good and the service was so good~I will visit again!!!“
“The meat is soft and very delicious. The staff was friendly and I went there once a month, so they remembered me.Not only meat but also pork is delicious so I recommend it.There was a new menuIt's a thinly sliced pork BBQ for $19, but it comes with the usual small side dishes, sundubu and salad.Personally, I prefer meat and pork BBQ as it is more economical.“
“Some great food with some great portions at pretty reasonable prices! The service is non-existent, as I had to walk up and grab more water for my table, but the taste is absolutely fantastic, so I didn't really mind. I highly recommend their honey garlic chicken :)“
“The dishes arrived piping hot, opt for the stone rice – its hot stone bowl yields a satisfyingly crispy layer at the bottom. While the restaurant's interior is pretty small in size, the quick turnaround and efficient service make for a seamless dining experience. They also renovated recently so it looks more clean and fresh. In my opinion, it stands out as one of the better Korean restaurants for soups. Don't miss the complimentary whole kimchi (it’s amazing).“
“It's a great Korean restaurant. My family likes the taste of the food. Maybe it's because Koreatown is nearby, so the competition is fierce, so you have to show your special skills. The service is quite attentive, and some people come to refill the water and care about the food. I like their soy sauce noodles, they are really richer and more authentic than Korean restaurants in Taiwan.Parking: There is a supermarket nearby, so parking is very convenient.“
“One of my favorite places to go to when craving korean bbq! The food here is absolutely delicious and the server is extremely friendly and kind! The restaurant itself is also clean as well! I highly recommend this place and anyone should come and eat here sometime :)“
