“Hello GOOGLE,If you ever get over to Crofton BC, I highly recommend you check out the OSBORNE BAY PUB. It is amazing & worth way more than 5 ☆'s. The food is delicious, but what really makes it for me is the staff.I'm from the mainland, but my family, Bev,Vern & and Lee, are weekly guests. They always sit in Liz's section. She knows them by name and their food & beverage order to a T. Liz is patient with my uncle, who sometimes requires a minute to confirm.Bravo, it is really nice to know their are people who care. This gives me the warm & and fuzzies. I bet we aren't the only family she remembers orders for.On this visit, I went with my daughter (who also said Liz is a godess) and friend. This was a busy spot on Jazz Sunday. It's Fantasic Entertainment by talented performers. Get there well before 130pm if you want to get the best seat. We had the seafood chowder, pictured below. “was there Saturday with a group of ex shipmates, first, when I took the ustensiles out of the wraping the fork and knife still had dry food on. the fish was good but may be make it smaller way too big for one person, the service was great LINDA was the server, now you cant no longer use newspaper to put fries and fish on verify it on internet Will be going there again“
“A must go place!A must try: Spicy Sticky Ribs (warning the full rack is an enormous tower and they are very spicy but very good)I will definitely go back there, no questions asked.Plus they have Tesla destination charger for free, as well as another public charger.—-I suspect someone from their staff saw my Tesla parked while I was inside asking for the charger to be turned on, so they thought I was just parking without charging. I didn’t feel bad about the note left in my window as I would’ve done the same thing, but it was just a misunderstanding.Parking: The parking seems to be shared by other businesses, I suspect it can get crowded during popular dinner times, but I was having lunch so it was practically empty.“
“Saturday night dinner out at the Cobblestone Pub was fantastic! The Iranian dinner special was AMAZING…kudos to the chefs…as were the wings. Jered at the bar…personality plus -hang onto that guy! Great experience overall…we’ll be back!“
“A buddy of mine introduced me to this place a few months back and my wife and I decided to pop in today. Let me tell you were we ever glad we did. The food was amazing as you can tell by the picture, the Caesar, made by Linda, was possibly the best I’ve ever had, and speaking of Linda, she was awesome, friendly and personable. Lastly was the price, I’m still in shock that in today’s economy I can get a great satisfying meal for 12 dollars. We will definitely be coming more often. Good job!!“
“Final supper on the island before our journey back to the prairies. This supper was memorable. Large portions, great seafood linguine, good chowder, fish and chips and the shrimp platter. Service was great, our servers were a pleasure to talk with and made us feel valued and welcome. When we return to the island, this place will be on our must visit list again!“
“had my first visit to the oak on Friday and it will NOT be my last! I was greeted with a warm smile seconds from walking inside, menu is amazing, I ordered the beef dip - fantastic bun, thin sliced meat and the jus, omg the jus - not overpowered with rosemary like most other places - the jus was spot on! service was fantastic, alcohol selection is what you'd expect from a pub. All and all a fantastic experience, hats off to the kitchen - thank you for a great meal and also a shout out to all the front of house staff and bartenders - i truly enjoyed my visit as mentioned will be back!“
“Great food here. Best deep fried pickles and smash beef dip burger! Love the Korean fried chicken too - huge serving. The place is always super busy, so service can be a bit slow at times, but they do their best given today's staffing challenges - all in all, really enjoyable place and becoming my favorite neighborhood pub!“
“What a great place! 4 of us were recommended to this place for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. The best Ahi Tuna Cobb salad ever! Scottish stew, chicken and broccoli, and seafood chowder all excellent. Great and friendly staff - we almost went back again for dinner. Well done!“
