“This is a gem of a place in Walnut Grove. More people need to know about it. Walking in you’re met with a genuine welcome and it’s very quaint and hospitable. The food was amazing and the selection is vast and we can’t wait to go back. I expect we will be regulars.“
“well folks this is a gem, a bit reluctant to share this place, it's not very often anymore that a restaurant like this can be found on the lower mainland. the service was wonderful we actually felt welcomed by the staff and patron's. the variety of options for delicious food was great and really get large helpings. the prices are comparable to other eateries in the lower mainland. “

“We haven't had IHOP since the Abbotsford location shut down. We were seated quickly and the service was quick and professional. I ordered the Calerado omelette with a side of pancakes. Daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was devine. The coffee tasted better than I remembered. We'll definitely have to go back.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu under 12 available“
“Nacho grilled cheese $17.45 includes potatoes OR salad. Pretty skimpy. Oh and no salads anymore. $2 extra if you have only the fruit with it. $3.50 extra if you then add potatoes (fries). $3.50 extra for hollandaise (cuz no gravy avail.) $3.50 extra for the coffee. (seriously?) $17.45 meal becomes $30 when it's an actual fully-formed meal.“
“This place took me back to when I was a kid hanging out with my grandparents and eating the best food of my life.I am Ukranian and am spoiled with the worlds best food in my family. Elena’s is by far the closest cooking I have experienced to what my mom makes. If you want amazing pierogies, cabbage rolls or borscht GO HERE!!!!“
“I'm a fan of the Pannekoeken ("Dutch pancakes). They are like general European crepes. A bit spongy and flatter than normal American pancakes. They are crispy around the edges and perfect for putting jam on. I put jam on mine and roll it a section at a time with a bit of the hash, which is great with hollandaise. The crepe is really big and you may not finish it. Recommended. Service is decent.“
