To say I was speechless is understatement. Instead of farm to table, they bring the tables to the farm! Ingredients are grown on their farm or locally sourced. The menu changes depending on what’s in season. We went for our anniversary on Sunday, even though it was raining the outside tent was warm and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary an unforgettable experience.”

Expensive, but not bad with promotions. Overall experience were good. Based on personal experience, I would only order when the promotions are available.”

Our rolls we ordered were great but the Salmon Oshi and Gyoza stole the show, both were fantastic. We will definitely dine at Hako Sushi again and are happy to have them in the community!”

“I’m speaking about the Surrey Central restaurant. 1. Our party of 4 was served their hot food on on absolutely ice cold metal trays, these trays were so cold!!!- the only explanation I could think of is the metal trays were next to a wide open window or door- outside temp. was 0 degrees. The hot food was only a 1/2” of height in each of the trays ‘bowls’ so was lukewarm very quickly- the cold trays stayed cold throughout and made our meal uncomfortable for sure! 2. We were, I shudder to say, rudely served our food one tray at a time, a minute or so apart, on the only open spot on the table in front of one of our party, with the only announcement being what was served on that tray- no asking by the server who ordered the food item so the orders could be properly served. I had enough of this by the 4th tray and… 3.I raised my concerns to more or less speechless servers (they were going through their breaks) about the concerns, so an apology was never uttered by the servers. 4. The only moments when servers were somewhat interested in our party’s experience was when they’d ask how’s everything, ‘on the fly’ without ever stopping to give eye contact to anyone in our party! I’m not going to give our entire experience a negative rating only because the food flavour and freshness was excellent- but the above 4 items should be addressed- if not by the chef or maitre’d, then perhaps by the HR dept.”

“We're new in the area and decided to walk a bit away from our place and found the Nut Coffee Shop.The place was clean and inviting, obviously they put a lot of care into it. The staff was friendly and efficient and I felt very welcomed. I loved that they support other small businesses and have a variety of options for everyone. I can't wait to make it my regular coffee shop.Also their straws are amazing. I know it's a weird thing but I hate typical paper straws that don't let you sit with a drink for very long and that didn't happen with these. I was able to tote my iced Nut Latte with me for hours afterwards which helped fuel my unpacking that same day!”

I let my server Ariana know about my previous experience and she handle it perfectly. I believe Amed was the cook who made my chicken. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, super juicy and I love the creole butter.”

My partner lived in Thailand for many many years, and in the three years we’ve been back he’s been hunting for authentic Thai. Finally, found Tom Yum soup and Tom Kai soup just like he used to have. The kids prefer it to the sparsely topped major chains pizza.Guys working there are very nice and after so many year we know them well. “This past Saturday we were craving Me-n-Ed's Pizza. When we walked in we realized that there was team recognition dinner of sorts for some little hockey players and their parents. We were told that this group would be leaving within the hour but another one was coming, but our hunger over took our need for a quiet dinner and we were seated. Looked and sounded like organized confusion but what amazed us most is how our server kept her cool and calmness as though it was quiet Saturday night. Honestly, we loved the energy. Didn't see a cell phone out gaming, everyone talking (sounded like at the same time-lol) and just having a good time in spite of all that is taking place world over. Our pizza arrived we ate, watched and listened to speeches then if Me-n-Ed's didn't insist on cutting our bill in half because of us having to 'tolerate the noise.' “My truck broke down one day out front. Once i had fixed it, i went inside for a beer. I have never, ever, felt so welcomed by staff and patrons to be at any place. They treated me like a friend and now i feel like a family member there. Amazing place with great beer and the most wholesome atmosphere you could imagine. I really, truly, love this establishment.”

“I’m speaking about the Surrey Central restaurant. 1. Our party of 4 was served their hot food on on absolutely ice cold metal trays, these trays were so cold!!!- the only explanation I could think of is the metal trays were next to a wide open window or door- outside temp. was 0 degrees. The hot food was only a 1/2” of height in each of the trays ‘bowls’ so was lukewarm very quickly- the cold trays stayed cold throughout and made our meal uncomfortable for sure! 2. We were, I shudder to say, rudely served our food one tray at a time, a minute or so apart, on the only open spot on the table in front of one of our party, with the only announcement being what was served on that tray- no asking by the server who ordered the food item so the orders could be properly served. I had enough of this by the 4th tray and… 3.I raised my concerns to more or less speechless servers (they were going through their breaks) about the concerns, so an apology was never uttered by the servers. 4. The only moments when servers were somewhat interested in our party’s experience was when they’d ask how’s everything, ‘on the fly’ without ever stopping to give eye contact to anyone in our party! I’m not going to give our entire experience a negative rating only because the food flavour and freshness was excellent- but the above 4 items should be addressed- if not by the chef or maitre’d, then perhaps by the HR dept.”

“Today Sunday Sept 18 2023 at 3:15 pm i ordered the bacon crispy deluxe fresh with crispy bacon , you need to be patient for this ,as can take up to 8 or 9 minutes, but let me tell you , today it was made the best ive had it was perfect, nice and browned chicken , moist inside and perfectly crisp bacon , was no raw fat and was not overdone . I phoned manager left a nice compliment , I am so impressed , it was soo good, this is how it should be ll the time going through the drive through, Thank you .”

“Attended the Molten Blues band show this past February and what a great show. Need more live entertainment like that. We were able to reserve a table and our waitress was one of the best servers we've ever had. Rock star! I'm generally not big on pub food. But full credit to the chef. Our meals were spot on and brought to us in a very timely manner. Especially considering how busy the establishment was. I would recommend the shows , the service and the food to anyone who is looking to get out and enjoy a great evening. Well done...!Cheers.”
