Great authentic Filipino takeaway in the food court at Royal City Centre.Not all Filipino is fresh, tasty and authentic. This is: real dinuguan, pork sisig, pork isaw... classic desserts (ube halaya, leche flan, maha blanca) and the street food fave: barbecue (sweet / hot sauce, taste the 7UP!)You can even get "toppings"... and silogif you're looking for breakfast... I was excited when I saw this Filipino Food Court Stall in New Westminster. They have ready to serve food options they also have Silog meals. I ordered tapsilog and I won’t say it’s bad but it could definitely be better. The rice that they are using has a bit of an after taste like it’s not the good kind :( the beef serving is pretty small for the price of $14 i think… they can make it worth the price somehow by adding a bit more to it. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Royal City Centre. Staff is always so friendly, efficient and seem happy to be there. Love the silog, especially the perfect runny egg for your rice every time. Excellent prices for portion size too, compared to typical Vancouver price.Vegetarian options: Like the majority of Filipino cuisine there are limited vegetarian and vegan options.
