They have a selection of ramen and other lunch dishes (all vegetarian) and hot drinks. My only negative was all the windows and doors were open and it was 5 degrees. The chairs were a little cold on the bum.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. It is a vegetarian restaurant after all.Parking: Sometimes hard to find a parking spot nearby.“

Cami and Carly (with the best hair braids) made my day yesterday and I watched them hustle through what seemed like endless smoothie orders. And this morning as I came back to grab a coffee before my hike! I see them back at it again. These girls know how to hustle and still keep a smile on the whole time! Never lose the soul and spirit you both have!! Thanks again for making my day!“

“Love this place! If you weren't aware, ahead of time, that it was vegan, you'd never know. Just letting you non-vegans know this, so you're not scared away. :-)I had a latte and the soup/sourdough special. OMG, the bread was amazing! I was savoring the taste an hour later. Soup and latte were excellent, too.I don't know the name of the music, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I have one complaint, it's that it feels, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, a little like an office lunch room. It is not the most welcoming environment. That said, though, I will definitely be back. So nice to have a complete vegan coffee shop.“

“February 10th, 2023 was such a tiring day. I had classes at UCW till late and, as a good hungry taurine, I had to eat something delicious to make me feel well. Also, it had to be mandatorily vegan, so I would also keep my mind in peace. While searching for a restaurant with vegan options, I saw this sushi one, called Cofu Pressed Sushi. It was not far from UCW Vancouver House (around 15 minutes by bus) and it would be open till 9:00 PM. So, I decided to go there. I called my husband and we met there. The restaurant is not that large, and they have just a few tables, just the way I like it. But the best, in my opinion, was that it was so clean, fragrant, and decorated with such a good neatness that I felt a cozy mood as soon as I entered. Nevertheless, we were very well welcomed by the server, and he explained the whole menu to us. Besides they former factors I mentioned, the latter is the most important in my opinion. The way I am hosted and treated in any commercial place makes the whole difference in my final perception. I took the Aichi combo from the Omakase Menu. This combo had plant-based tuna (made of jackfruit), tofu, avocado, fresh mix veggie, and a sauce made of vivid beets and spicy mayo. As for my husband, he chose the Ofu combo. It had plant-based salmon (made of carrot and konjac), pumpkin, eggplant, red & yellow bell pepper, and a sauce made of cilantro, cucumber, and wild carrot. As the picture shows, the dish presentations were so beautiful, showing the food as something delicate, that the sushi master really took care of it. Last, but not least, the taste. It was so delicious! Every bite mattered to me. I was hungry, but I took every sushi slowly to feel all flavours and had the best sensory experience. For some the amount of food may look little, but I guarantee it made me fill satisfied. As a whole, I felt really delighted and I wish to return there soon to order the other options.“

Cake options too.Love the airy space (even though it was a bit small) and alternative milk options. It was calm and relaxing to sit there and enjoy the treats.Erin was super friendly when I introduced myself as a fan, having followed her Instagram and been anticipating trying her bakery. “Appetizer appreciation post! I came to try a few appetizers, ordered more than I should, and can't wait to go back again! Service was perfect! Super friendly and very quick! Prices seem high for veggies but this is the age we live in! Located in the heart of the west end, finally a place that appeals to the crowds! I got the Veggie Spring roll (Carrot, taro, mushroom, vermicelli, tofu, bean) and this is something you all need to try. Perfectly crispy, flavoured with the fresh veg, and the sauce works so well! Then the Spicy Crispy Cauliflower (Cauliflower, peanut, sesame sauce with housemade Korean spicy sauce). I would pass in this. The cauliflower was huge but the batter didn't stick well and the sauce was mid. You must get the Lemongrass Crispy Tofu (Garlic, chili, tofu, soybean floss, lemongrass). They were so flavourful and the perfect amount of garlic and chilli. I don't recall what the soybean floss was, but whatever it was, this dish was delish! Lastly I got the Wok Fried Brussel Sprouts (Wok fried brussel sprouts with housemade sauce). The sauce caramelized in the perfectly cooked Brussels. Kind of sweet, kind of salty. Very melt in your mouth! I cannot stress how happy I am this place is here and I look forward to going back!“

The deep fried Halloumi is a veggie version of fish n chips, and it was good but it didn’t quite get there… The poutine was very nice, and the ketchup seemed homemade and also very nice according to my boyfriend who is a ketchup freak… They have a back patio, very comfortable space with those tower heaters on. “I've had Glory Juice Co. before, but hadn't been to their Coal Harbour location. Used my Plant Curious coupon here (an amazing BOGO deal). The staff member working was chatty and so kind! On that weekday near closing, they were miraculously out of mylk (drinks to go, and mylk to make smoothies) due to a previous order that day. I was curious to try their mylk but will need to come again to do so! I settled for a couple of their cold-pressed juices, #18 and #43. The #43 was a collab with Canucks player, Quinn Hughes, and certainly woke me up with the taste of ginger. It also had mixed fruits like berries and cucumber. My favourite was #18, because you can never go wrong with mango and pineapple! They're regular $12.50 each, so it's not an everyday spend for me, but great for a pick me up or for some added mid-day energy. I could taste the freshness in the juices, and great staff too!“

“Clean and good atmosphere. We walked by and had no idea what to expect. As a meat lover, of course a bit a challange to see the relative small menu. But we found quickly some nice options. We choose the amburi lox oshi (Sushi) and the smashed potatos to share. It was a really unextpected positive surprise. The potatos simple but delicious (unfortunately a bit too much). The Sushi complex, a bit spicy and really worth to try and reorder. The main we had Cacio e pepe and Dan Dan Noodles. Both delicious as well. Unfortunately it was too much and the tastes were after the half of the portion a bit "boring". Don't get us wrong. It was a amazing cooked, fresh incrediences and nothing negative. To eat I just missed a bit the variety of tastes.Maybe for a next time I would order half portion with a side like salad. But a nice place to visit. enjoy“

“Level V is partnered with and shares a cafe space with Whisk Matcha, and from the perspective of a customer visiting the cafe, they basically function as one business since you order everything from the same counter. I have left a detailed review of the whole cafe on the location entry for Whisk, so here I'll just go over what the bakery offers. I am working my way through their offerings and think I've tried a pretty representative sample of what they serve, but there's always a wide selection available at the cafe and they're always whipping up new things, so I think I'd have to be eating their stuff every day if I really wanted to be able to try everything!I think that the objective best thing you can get here are either cookies OR come after they open and try a bun. Any bun. They are always fresh in the morning, and the slightly sweet yeast dough is so soft and tender. They rotate through various sweet and savoury fillings. The ube mochi bun that I think is fixed in the rotation is very good; one of my favourite seasonal offerings was the salted "yolk" bun, where the vegan salted yolk filling was actually made from squash. I like that they have some veganized versions of common Asian pastries that usually contain meat so that I can try these flavours. Most of the meat substitutes are not processed imitation products but creative culinary replacements. Even if you eat meat, if you have an open mind, I would still recommend these savoury buns if you want to try something different. The cookies are similarly very soft, not too sweet. These hold up their freshness better throughout the day so you don't have to come right at opening to enjoy them at their peak (the buns are also great at any time of day, but I do notice a difference between when they're just a few hours out of the oven vs later in the afternoon). They have staple flavours and rotating seasonals which are all interesting flavours (the staple matcha mochi cookie is heavenly). They have a few twice-baked croissants: matcha and almond. If you like really buttery, gooey croissants, these might not be for you, because they're a little crunchier than typical croissants and don't have that buttery sheen. I personally don't miss the butteriness and prefer this version, which doesn't leave me feeling like my face is oily after eating it. They're almost closer to a bread dough than pastry. The matcha version has a powerful dusting of matcha and a delicious matcha custard inside. They sell whole cakes, which can be preordered from their website or grabbed as a walk-in (they have a few available for walk-ins every day), and usually there will be something available by the slice. I tried a slice of pistachio cake and really enjoyed the moist crumb and smooth "buttercream" frosting. The cake was a little dense but I didn't mind it at all. I definitely want to try more of their cake after trying this one. They have various other desserts that come and go: lots of cupcakes in fun flavours, macarons, sometimes vegan cheesecake, sometimes bars, sometimes tiramisu. I haven't been disappointed with anything so far. Some are gluten-free. The desserts don't always taste exactly like their non-vegan or non-GF counterparts, but are always delicious in their own way.“

“Doi is the sister restaurant to Khoe. Where Khoe offers up amazing vegan Vietnamese rice noodle bowls, Doi has a variety of banh mis and baos - all vegan too of course.I ordered a sampling of banh mis and baos for me and my partner to enjoy: chick’n banh mi and bao, tofu banh mi, and shroom bao.Everything was fresh and tasty, and of the same great portions and quality I’ve come to expect from Khoe.I highly recommend everyone orders regularly from here, even your omni friends will enjoy it!My only “complaint”? I’d love to be able to order from both restaurants / menus at once so that I don’t have to pay double the Uber eats service and delivery fees. I’m not quite sure why they are operating as two different entities, but I’m sure there must be a good reason for them. Just sucks a bit for me for my future orders :)Keep up the great work team!“

“There are many reasons for chosen a vegan restaurants. Ours was one of health and allergies. We are trying to eat healthy, and the right vegan restaurant can deliver a satisfying meal while allowing us to walk away without digestion discomfort. The Chickpea menu was confusing to begin with, it took us a while to understand how to choose something. I saw pictures of the crispy breaded tofu online and really wanted to order that. But I found out this particular option incorporates garlic. I also saw a platter delivered that looked attractive, but then I came to my senses – we came here because we wanted to eat healthy – and the platter I saw looked piled high with deep fried food! So, at the last minute, I chose what I am supposed to eat, salad with some sort of protein (yes, boring, I know). To go with the salad, I had to choose a Main, but there were only four items of Main without garlic, since I didn't want butternut squash, or eggplant, and some other vegetable, I was left of Calamachick, which thankfully, has a gluten-free batter. My better half chose poached egg on home fries with avocado. My salad bowl was quite huge. The oyster mushrooms were not chewy. To my surprise, I was able to finish the bowl of salad and only left one calamachick – and I didn't feel the bloated fullness that I would normally feel when eating non-vegan food. So, we ordered their secret recipe carrot cake with whipped coconut cream to celebrate. The vegan poached egg was quite amazing. It looked and tasted like a real poached egg with runny yolk. Their menu is extremely creative and full of items I'd like to discover, and much more interesting that another vegan restaurant north of them. Needly to say, WE WVILL BE BACK, but with caution simply because there are so many menu items that are deep fried. If we are really serious about eating healthy, we wouldn't be able to come very often because all of the items that attract me are deep fried!“
