“Warm, welcoming, and trendy local coffee shop with local owner operators. Loved their wraps and tried their other brunch selections as well. Very tasty foods and very friendly owners. Definitely recommend this coffee shop if you haven'v visited the place yet!“
“On a rainy afternoon, I tried their chili (small bowl), and a club sandwich... Filled me to the brim.Let me tell you something, their chilli was warm and thick in consistency...Their club sandwich had a perfect turkey, bacon lettuce, cucumber, tomato ratio....And the chilli, the meat was juicy, the beans were soft yet had a bite to them....Just a warm hearty meal served with a smile and made with love....Thankyou Kenaize.... I love the rains and your food made it perfect for me...“
“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“
“Went there 8:00 AM thinking they’d have fresh baked good. Ordered a croissant and a scone. They were at least 1 or 2 days old. Croissant was soggy. The cheese on top came off like rubber and the scone was so dry and stale, it was crumbling. On top of that it cost a fortune. Most definitely a skip. the latte was on par with a Tim Hortons regular coffee. I.e. not a latte at all“
“Barrio is one of the better places to get your coffee in Vancouver and if you live or are anywhere in North Van, this is a place you definitely want to go. Coffee is reasonably priced and there is seating inside to enjoy your coffee (appropriately safe during Covid restrictions). The cafe also sells beans if you need beans for home. P.s if you’re an Aussie or a Kiwi you’ll love it as Barrio is run by an Aussie, so you can expect good standards.“
“My cappuccino was super tasty and extra hot!! Olive oil cake and caprese cake were also very good.Located across from several car shops, this place is perfect for lunch or snack while your car is being worked on.Very busy at 10 am on a weekday. Seems like a popular hangout for local seniors.“
“Working on a property next to it. I decided I'd give this Cafe a try. Brought a coworker with me. Not disappointed. In fact, the soup and sandwich were delicious. Just what a guy needed for lunch.Friendly staff. Nice and clean. Good seating with big open glass viewing of nice landscape. Good parking available, if driving.I'll be a return customer.“
“I really adore this café... Basically everything about it is wonderful. The drinks are delicious, the food is good, the washrooms are clean, the decor and styling are so stylish and comfortable, there are outlets to do laptop work, the music is thoughtfully chosen and not distracting, and the staff are lovely and friendly. It has such a natural atmosphere with the plants, and I love the concept of bringing back the reusable cups each time. Not only is this good for the environment, but it is also a great way to foster a feeling of community. One of the best cafés in North Van!“
“Had an incredible lunch experience at Le Petit Café in North Vancouver with friends. The owner, Ashley, went above and beyond to make us feel at home with her friendliness and warm welcome. The coffee was outstanding, and the flavors in their sandwiches and wraps were unparalleled, easily some of the best in North Vancouver. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and great coffee. A true gem in the area!“
“I've been to this location before and always have had a great experience! On this particular day I visited two other coffee shops earlier in the morning. And those two coffee shops had drip coffee that tasted like bath water yet the staff thought it was good. This location says the drip coffee is good and it's great they actually do a fantastic job of it and keep up the good work not sure how you get it done but you should teach a lot of these other coffee shops that perhaps had good coffee at one point but the owners bought them out and don't know how to do it right Thank you! The atmosphere is always good The staff is cheery and friendly I like to sit outside with a great view of the mountains!Parking: Street parking catch house catch can meters or some limited timed parking could park at a London drugs down the road but it's a little bit of a walk“
“The coffee is genuinely good, as you'd expect when it's freshly roasted on site! Love that I can buy coffee beans roasted a couple of days prior right in my neighborhood and they also have a nice stock of brewers like aeropress and chemex you can buy.“
“Nemesis Coffee is delicious ❣️I am a regular customer of this coffee shop, I had a cortado and a bodega sandwich (?+?+?+ Best Buns)Believe me, everything is delicious. Great service! Sometimes there is a line but it's worth it. I recommend it ? “
“A new bookstore in Deep Cove! They have amazing coffee, too. I bought two books but I'm definitely going back for more. It's obvious there was a lot of thought put into the book selection. I was also impressed that they have books by local writers. They have nice comfy benches where you can sit while you narrow down your selection. I also bought a cool kitty cat puzzle for my mother-in-law.“
“It's a lovely shop though it can be hard to find seats at times. Very popular, they have a laptop study room almost near the back. There's also outside seating when its not too cold. I stop here every time I'm in North Van.“
“Cute little cafe hidden in the neighborhood that didn't come up on my first search for breakfast. Service was very good and the food was too. We sat outside and the weather made it so enjoyable. I didn't even know they had a small grocery section inside until I went to pay.“
“This was my first visit. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, as was the woman behind the counter. The coffee & muffin were excellent. It felt like being in someone's home, hard to find with today's many generic, sterile coffee shops. Definitely recommend.Parking: Easy parking on both Lonsdale, side streets and parking lot to the North of shop.“
“First time here this weekend as we are from across the water and we will be back every time we visit the big city now. From the amazing customer service including how sweet and genuine they were to a regular in front us helping him locate his umbrella to the exceptional warm and friendly service we received as well. Also amazing coffee and treats!“
“My friend and I had dinner this evening and the service was top notch, the food was tasty, I had butter chicken, my friend enjoyed her dinner very much too. I live in Lynn Valley and will definitely going back. Next time I will have brunch. I used to go a lot before COVID for brunch and the food was always good. I'm sure brunch will also be good under new ownership, most of the brunch menu is the same as before.“
“Honestly this has become one of my MUST VISIT locations whenever I am in the Vancouver area now. It is so delicious and the service is always kind and amazing. And the added bonus of the atmosphere and location...it's just a phenominal place that I highly recommend everyone try out.“
“I love this place, they have everything and it's delicious and made well. My sons loves the food. The appearance of the store is always very inviting as well as the staff is considerate and kind to customers. I wish thier were more stores that provide quality products such as Stongs.“
“This is a very lovely cafe with great drinks, food, and service!! The staff are extremely friendly and kind, and the place is super comfortable and very pleasant to be in. There are big windows that you can sit in front of and comfy couches and chairs where you can lounge. This place is usually decently quiet (depending on the time of day) so it's quite often a good place to go to for studying or doing some work.Parking can be a bit tricky during busy hours, but other than that this cafe is always a pleasure to go to!Parking: Parking is free but rather limited. Not many spots in front of the cafe itself but there are more spots behind the building.Wheelchair accessibility: This cafe is wheelchair accessible.“
“The food is absolutely wonderful. Gourmet and original. We really love the avocado chickpea toast, the soup, and so many of the pastas.Only suggestion is to use a little less packaging. Tendency to use two containers where one could be used.“
“ake Five Café is a delightful urban retreat nestled in the bustling heart of Vancouver. The café offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends or enjoying a moment of solitude. Their specialty coffee and a wide range of delectable pastries cater to diverse tastes. The friendly staff and contemporary ambiance make it a go-to spot for a quick break or a leisurely afternoon. Whether you're in need of a caffeine fix or a cozy nook to unwind, Take Five Café delivers a consistently delightful experience.“
“We are fans of Cafe Orso, the owners are so nice, the food is great and love the decor. Highly recommend - note new owers have recently takenover and this review was written bases on experience with previous ownership. Prices have gone up ans service is slow “
“I go here every week. It’s a very nice place, great food and coffee. However, they never ask me what size I want for my drink and I forget to let them know, so they automatically sell me medium-sized coffee when I want large, so I often leave mildly “
“I’ve been always looking forward to picking up my daughter who lives near by, so I would have an excuse to come here for the best Americano’s I’ve ever had! There healthy choice muffins are next level too! What a gem of a place! I wish we had one in Coquitlam area. ?“
“Had the mango frango drink and it was awesome! Price is on the higher side at $9.98 including pearls but it was still reasonable. The worker there was a bit sick and coughing while at the counter which was unfortunate. Overall the space is good to chill out and I'll come back to try other things.“
“Over the past couple mouths I have become kinda a coffee mad man as I would say and blenz is pretty solid usually get a latte which is relatively similar to Starbucks they also have good tea and snacks but the protein smoothies are the real deal but the best thing about blenz is the atmosphere very nice chairs and tables and a beautiful interior great to go have a coffee with a fun or family member overall coffee pretty decent snacks good smoothies amazing and atmosphere amazing solid coffee shop“
“The best local cafe in Lolo - for service, coffee, staff and of course, the donuts. The Parallel team is incredibly consistent with their service and experience. There's a reason that this cafe is always packed with locals. Quality coffee and the best donuts!(... And I don't say this lightly with Nemesis and Lovearte a close walk away)---Exceptional to the highest level - our wedding story:On my wedding day, I came in for a 7am coffee run. With friendly greetings, I chatted with the staff while the 8 coffees were being made. My wedding came up, and the staff were so lovely that they offered me enough donuts, on the house, to feed all of us. Such a thoughtful and generous offer ? Then, when the coffees were made, I didn't have enough hands to carry it all. So, living close by (a 5 min walk away), one of the staff offered to walk with me to help out. I accepted and he walked the donuts and coffee all the way up to our apartment with me, and said hi to all the bridemaids and hair/make up artists when he walked in. Very graciously, he left and we were so very appreciative. The Parallel team left me and all of us with an experience that we will never forget. This is the type of thing that 5-star restaurants do. I couldn't have been more impressed ?My husband goes to Parallel most days in a week, and it's my first choice, every time, for a when I go for coffees too.A huge thank you to the Parallel team, and to the special team that were so kind on our wedding day (Oct 21, 2023). You know who you are “
“We met one of our best friends Vida in JJ Bean and had a great time with her , she is such a kind and energetic barista and kindly invited us to coffee and muffins ☕ you have to have a coffe there with fantastic view of Dollar Road Waterfront Park ??“
“Very nice atmosphere here with comfy seating and art on the walls. There's a large secluded seating area in the back which you might miss if you don't know it's there. The vibe was very peaceful and then a family with three very loud kids came in...didn't really bother me, but just be prepared that you can't necessarily count on a quiet environment since it seems to get a big crowd coming from the beach/park which of course can include families. My lunch here was great, I had a masala chickpea wrap, a slice of carrot cake, and a turmeric latte. I especially enjoyed the carrot cake, it had big pieces of dried fruit which was delicious and gave it great texture. Their turmeric latte was spicy and comes unsweetened, but not bitter. The baristas were mostly nice but seemed a little disorganized, although I think one of them might have been in training. I confirmed that everything was "for here" 3 times and they still gave me my sandwich in a to-go box which is my pet peeve. Overall, though, I really liked the place. I just was at Deep Cove this once for a little day trip so this was probably a one-off visit, but if I lived nearby, it’s the kind of place I’d want to come back to.“
“Tried this Artigiano because a friend recommended the cafe for working and it was also on Too Good To Go. Pretty large cafe, lots of seating, floor to ceiling windows so it’s bright and looked as though the doors opened up to outdoor patio seating in the warmer months too. Cool art as well! I got 2 muffins and a scone in the TGTG bag (see pic!)Parking: Lots of street parking but it does fill up pretty fast because of other stores in the village. I’m sure side streets also have overflow“
“Tasty gelato place along Lonsdale somewhat close to the highway. Parking is available on the side streets. The inside is modern, and the space is quite large. They have coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream/gelato. In terms of ice cream/gelato flavours, they have both fruit flavours, as well as chocolate/coffee. I had a 2 scoop ice cream. Ingredients seemed fresh. The ice cream was tasty. I was happy.“
“This is probably the best value $5 coffee in the GVRD. The staff are knowledgeable and really friendly. Excellent cappuccino with a multi million dollar view of the Vancouver skyline. Just beware of the mercenary parking lot attendants in the basement parking. One of the most expensive parking spots in the GVRD. There's free street parking just 2 blocks away.“
“I came to Bidobususul and went to eat soup at a soup restaurant, but many other customers were already eating kimbap and tteokbokki, so I ordered the same without knowing and was able to inhale Korean food for the first time in a while. The sweet and spicy taste of tteokbokki that I used to eat as a child is excellent?Whenever I miss Korean food???“
