“My husband and I absolutely adore coming to this place. When we crave sushi, this is the only place we go, even though we live in Burnaby, and the journey isn't short. But it's totally worth it!!! The food here is incredibly delicious! Everything we've ordered has been not only tasty but also beautifully presented!!! I can confidently say that these are the most delicious sushi I've ever had. We lived in Toronto for many years, moved to Vancouver last year, and it's only at Chef Sushi that I've truly appreciated this cuisine. I don't know what these guys put in their dishes, but everything they serve is just unreal!!!! Also, the people working there are all very kind and positive!!! They exude great energy!!! “I went to the Port Moody Freshslice location recently and had a great experience. I went in a bit late and even though the store was closing soon the person working gave me very good customer service. The person working was Kanwal and not only was her customer service excellent, the pizza she made was one of the best I have ever had at Freshslice. I order from Freshslice a lot so that is saying something! Thanks to Kanwal for treating me so well and thanks to the Port Moody location in general!“

“Had a wonderful dinner here. My husband and I both ordered the steak which were cooked perfectly. My server suggested to add some scallops on the side which I highly recommend. Steaks came with mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts (so yummy!)We finished our meal with cheesecake and creme brulee. Cheesecake was so rich and creamy and the creme brulee was a very generous portion. Also ordered the Chai tea to go with the desserts (literally the best Chai I have ever had)Everything was exceptional. Servers were very friendly and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We had seating inside but their outdoor patio looks lovely and dog friendly.Can't wait to visit this place again soon.“

“I went to the Bakery location off Coast Meridian this morning and ordered 2 cinnamon buns, a cheese scone and 2 brownies. The employee putting the order in the take out box used her fingers (no gloves, no tongs) to pick up the brownies from the display case and put the brownies in the box! I didn’t see how the other items were selected because I was looking at some other items on the side counter then turned back to look as the employee picked up the brownies but it seems likely fingers were used for those as well. The employee then used the cash register etc. I felt really awkward about saying anything in the moment…paid and left but kept thinking about it and didn’t end up eating any of the items because who knows if the employees hands were clean. This was definitely not a safe food serving practice and I won’t be buying anything here again.*UPDATE*The Bakery was quick to respond and to address my concerns. As a result I will visit again!“

“An exquisite and small Japanese ramen shop, the ramen and fried food are not sloppy at all. The very rich miso soup, freshly fried chicken Tangyang is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the fried tofu also comes with 2 flavors of dipping sauce.
