“The food was mediocre at best. The owner was a very rude person. He comes across as self righteous and condescending. I was shocked that this would be the experience there, especially after reading some of the other reviews. Unfortunately, this place is a hard no for me.“

“I ordered Cheeseburger sliders with Caramelized onions from Columbia Street Sandwich Co for a large event in my home recently. They were amazing!! Apparently, Amanda has a reputation for her incredible caramelized onions—and I can vouch for that 100%!Amanda was so accommodating in every aspect. I needed a large order over a holiday weekend when the shop was going to be closed and she worked with me & was open to finding a way to make it happen.She answered all my questions and prepared my ordered beautifully with clear instructions. Everyone was so friendly & welcoming.I haven’t lived in New West very long but I wanted to try a local company for my event.I am so happy that I did and I will continue to use them for future events. “This restaurant has really good food. I definitely recommend. My family’s favourite items on the menu are the pitas with hummus, babaganoush and other dips. But for the main course we got one veggie flatbread, one veggie wrap and one meat flatbread. We will for sure be going back!“

“Delicious Thai food, that is actually affordable. Really good fry on appetizer dishes like tofu, wontons and roti. A lot of their dips are honey based which I thought was interesting. I had drunken noodles which was good but felt a bit too oily.“

“We've visited The Old Spaghetti Factory since 2006 and have taken people to eat there on special occasions. We love the decoration and atmosphere of the place. The food meets your expectations and considering the place, service and all, I think their prices are lower in proportion to other options. We'll definitely keep going when we want to spend dinner in a nice place. Attention has always been excellent. We've had to ask to be seated closer to the train instead of next to the windows that face the skytrain station, but they've had no problem fixing that for us.“

“Happened to be passing by the area for work. Enjoyed the lunch special which let's you choose 1 of 3 soups plus 1 of 9 different rice or noodle dishes. Excellent portions and the taste was just right for me. Ordered: chicken chow mein w/honey garlic pork, and hot/sour chicken soup (very plentiful with meat & veggies). The lady gave very friendly service and a welcome surprise for Asian restaurants: they took credit card for payment!“

“Should have been a red flag when we saw french fries on the menu. The fish tacos seemed like frozen battered fish. Actually the worst burrito I have ever had. Mostly bland rice and barely any meat. Avoid this restaurant. They do not deserve such a high rating.Edit: Since this disastrous take-out order, I had the chance to eat-in at the Taco Factory for lunch. The food was far better and the atmosphere and service top notch. I didn't order the burrito this time but the tacos were great.Edit 2: Returned again - tried the Bacon Burrito...not sure what I was thinking. It's stuffed with french fries! Was not a great concoction. Wife had fish tacos and they were too salty and did not taste great. Came with dry tasteless rice.Tip for owner: remove french fries from the menu. Focus on the authentic instead of what you think Canadians want.“
