“OMGGG this place is BEYOND delicious. I’m not even sure how a place like this is in Quesnel. This is Vancouver quality food all the way!!!!!! And the owners are just amazing people, so genuine. I used to eat here when they had the smaller more “shabby” restaurant and it was just as good then too! This restaurant is purely amazing. Crazy how you can’t even find one bad review on here, it’s just that good.”

“We were recommended this place for lunch. Sounds like it’s THE spot of the town. The decor is pretty cool. It’s got a lot of downtown Vancouver memorabilia with an underground vibe.

We waited a while for service as employees were running around doing something. Finally a lady came up and wasn’t very friendly while taking the order.

I got a lasagna and one of their apple tarts. The lasagna was delicious. Could tell it was made in house as stated on the menu. The portion was big and enough for two meals.
The apple tart was very fresh. It resembled a small muffin, which made it a perfect portion size.

I would come back if I pass through Quesnel again.”

“Picked up some treats for the drive home. We lived here 22 years ago and it was my favorite bakery. The custard long johns have always been our favorite and they did not disappoint. I used to buy the rye bread all of the time back then but the loaf I just bought was definitely not the same recipe. It tasted like whole wheat bread, not rye.”

“Wow amazing pizza! I gave up on pizza Hut a long time ago but while on vacation I ordered the triple box because we wanted something cheap. It was unbelievable how good it was just awesome crispy peperoni and cheese was loaded. I hope this is a change for the better from the company but either way this location killed it and deserves praise for bringing me back to pizza Hut as a customer.”

“First time patron. Was craving Chinese cuisine - and came in the restaurant nearly starving, to dine in for an early dinner as I had forgotten to eat all day until I was famished and my stomach was angry with me. Ordered a small wonton soup, a 4-item combo for one with a substitution, and an order of spicy prawns.
Was phenomenal. Scarfed down the wonton soup as soon as they served it. Had an out of body experience whilst mowing down on the hot & fresh spicy prawns. Ate all dozen of them despite claiming I'd be eating leftovers...

Was already getting kind of full when the plate of the combo arrived at my table and the owner asked how it had been so far and I stumbled over my words to tell him it was the best I had ever eaten. He laughed welcomingly and said "because you were really hungry!" So humble!

I've eaten all over Q Town this year and have never been inspired to review a restaurant. I will be returning whenever I'm in Quesnel. Might not dine in every time as door dash exists and I'm a busy lady.
