I was recommended to their steam minced pork when I met my friend at the food court so I ordered one to bring home. It took more than half an hour to receive my order even though they were not busy at late afternoon. The price is consider high for $19 at food court. The food is surprisely tasty, juicy and tender. After 3 days, I phoned to order one for take out again so I did not have t wait.

Love their Beef fried rice with XO sauce, so good. The rice texture is different compare to other restaurants. I ordered the same rice at least 2-3 times per month.

Chef Tsui and madam Tsui cooking authentic Cantonese flavours and showing off his wok chi (wok technique)! My Popo’s go to restaurant when I was young (ditto KS). Now a humble establishment on the second floor of Taikoo mall. Wok stir fried noodles and sizzling hot pot (squid and pork drizzled with sweet soy sauce).

very rude female owner!! one of the worst service. don't get why they would be mean to non cantonese/mandarin speakers. they are in vancouver canada, at least be nicer and accommodating. had to ask a cantonese/mandarin speaker to help order in order to be attended to! food was not bad but asking for soy sauce she had to frown and made a loud thud and annoyed look.

Great value. Delicious food, just like home cooking. Quick and attentive service.

If I can give zero star I would. Terrible service and experience! Twice! Gave this place a chance twice and both times terrible! Called to order take-out and asked when I can pickup, lady kept saying not sure and asked when I want the food. My answer is whenever it is ready. If it takes an hour or two, I’ll work around the time. At the end, this second time the lady ended saying under two hours and I would have to wait when I arrive. First time I waited 2 and a half hours and this second time is the worst experience, lady saw me and said here you go. I gave you priority and at least you can say thank you for me giving you priority. Wow! I’m a paying customer like everyone else and normal restaurants even for a food court would prioritise food in order based on taking orders. Giving me a snarky comment and attitude and making the customer feel like I owe them is disrespectful and just plain stupid. First time the food was good but this second time the food tasted terrible. My two kids had the same reaction with their taste buds. Never going back. This place should learn some manners and customer service.

A place I came to once after speaking to a friend, and now everytime I am in the area I am thinking of the next thing to order, really it is that good, seriously you have to eat at this place. It is one of those.. but it's a food court stall, well the people here know what the heck they are doing, and they have that Cantonese cooking fire to get your food out. Just know this, don't expect service, don't expect speed as food court doesn't mean fast food either, but what you can expect is excellent food. They do have a take out menu that does show everything in English, so do not worry if you cannot read Chinese, and it is surprising how vast this menu is, there are more things here than most restaurants (I heard they use to run a restaurant reading the threads.....)The first time here was a taste test, and we ordered a 'wet' stir-fried egg swirl beef rice noodle, I remember this taking at least 20 minutes, given to us in a takeout box, and they really stuff the box, and we looked at it...and when you have that repeat motion of utensil to food, to mouth... set on repeat without caring that you are getting hot steam spewing in your face, you know it is good.Second time, and this time we order the stir fried rice noodle with prawns and scallops, but the huge surprise was the claypot rice. They actually cook it in a claypot, and when you first look at it you wonder, is there enough meat, when really you should be asking if there is enough rice. This dish was the best one I have had here in a long time, and yes... it is way better than that other one that starts with a "J"! We had the mixed meats and added a salted duck egg, and this is a dish you have to enjoy waiting 25 minutes then enjoy picking away at the bottom of the pot, right to the last crispy piece of rice stuck to the bottom.Just writing this review makes me want to plan to go again.... to either order the same... or allow them to surprise me. This is my new favorite must go to just to EAT!
