“Cool little cafe with big windows a little walk away from the crowds. Buddy with the mustache was friendly & told me about their food options in an authentic way - even though I came in close to closing!This cafe reminded me of Vancouver/Seattle staples which is a nice break from the 'artsy' atmosphere of the island other shops.Clean washrooms and a big outdoor patio would be great in the summer months!“

“Such a special place. So great to see a place that maintains the art and spirit of craft beer instead of slinging fruit slurry IPAs in a nightclub setting. The artful hop selection and creativity behind the different brew styles coupled with the quiet, cozy and unpretentious atmosphere against a backdrop of communal nature really captures the west coast spirit. “We went out to Auntie Pestos on Thursday night and took our friend from Toronto and another local friend. It was the first dinner out in 2 years and it felt soooo great to be out with our friends and having an amazing dinner! We all had the Seafood pasta with a starter of caeser salad ....everything was delicious as always. Auntie Pestos is our favourite restaurant on Salt Spring Island. The location as well with views out to the sea with the marina boats is so pretty.Its lovely to walk the boardwalk after your meal as well and the Grace Point square Galleries and Shops.“
