I would say that the food was overpriced. The portions were very small. The order of bread was 1 piece cut in half. The chef's menu would not be worth the money, so our group ordered items off the main menu (some doubles for size) and it was much less expensive. The lighting could be more dim, I found the ambience slightly off.
The family style menu was perfect for a date night for me and my wife. Each of the six (or seven) courses were unique and delicious, full of tastes that got our taste buds woken and conversation flowing. Service was very attentive and a surprisingly nice cocktail list too!With all of the restaurants in the city to choose from, this is one that we will return to again and again.

Food was amazing. We ordered smoked cabbage twice. The taste of every dish we had was better than many one star restaurants I ate at. Farmer's Apprentice is ready for its first star.
