Very cute, tiny shop. However definitely not for extended periods of eating. Noted this is reasonable considering the location and type of food offered is more suitable for quick lunch walk thrus. Service is friendly and overall very clean.Food was delicious! Did not overload me on rice. However the grain options like kale noodles or coconut rice was a very appreciated offering. My husband and I tried the Acai Bowl as advertised on the sandwich board outside the store. It had fruits in it, with acai and was supposed to be topped with banana and coconut curls. While we were waiting for our order, we were told they had no banana, so just coconut. So.... it turned out to be a runny smoothie in a bowl, with coconut curls on top - it was like eating soup. Very disappointing. Flavor was okay; more fruit juice than acai flavor.

We just love Hula Poke and we regularly order takeout from there. Pretty much every time I don’t feel like cooking lunch :) Rice is always excellent, kale and tuna are plentiful and fresh, and the condiments and sauces are delectable. Our favourites are the Peruvian and the Tiki bowls. Yum!
