“Honestly, it is a super cozy and neat place with yummy options menu. We tried the lahm b ajeen, it was very tasty. And the Ayran they served is one of the best I've had actually. We wanted to try more things off the menu but we happened not to have cash on us and had forgotten the credit card back home haha.Being Lebanese, it reminded me of home. I bet this applies to Mediterraneans in general. And in what comes to Internationals, it is a glimpse into a cuisine that is not to be missed.You get to see your food being prepared and baked in front of you. And the more you look at the menu, the more you feel inspired to try new things.I cannot recommend anything specific yet, (since we only tried one thing) but you bet we'll keep returning until we try everything on the menu!Service was a bit too serious though.A must try.Vegetarian options: There are many MANY vegetarian and vegan options, zaatar/cheese manusheh, hummos, falafel etc..Wheelchair accessibility: If I remember correctly, it was accessible to people with wheelchairs“
“This food, so fresh and delicious! I have never had Lebanese food before and was absolutely delighted at what I ate. My mouth and tummy are so happy! I have been visiting Vancouver for 6 nights now, and this is the freshest, most flavorful and beautiful food I have had. The service was absolutely lovely as well. Must eat here!“

“Just had a takeout lunch from Jamjar. Wow! Amazing, nourishing, authentic Lebanese food in the stunning surroundings of Lonsdale Quay. We had the ‘everything’ bowl, trying all of their Lebanese classics. Hard to decide which ones were our favorites:) What a great addition to North Vancouver!“

“The food was really good.Did not find the service top notch, though. We had to wait at the counter for some time despite booking a reservation, and no one even bothered to acknowledge us. It is okay to be busy, but normally, people would at least gesture that they would come to talk soon. The waiter also seemed very uninterested in taking the order for some reason.“
“The food and service are pretty good. The portion sizes and prices are reasonable. I'd give 5 stars if they weren't so cheap with the tomato -- I got 2 tiny slivers of partial tomato slices in my shawarma. I didn't even notice them when eating it lol.“

“The Roast Lamb Plate of Babylon Restaurant & Bar is my favorite meal in Vancouver. I've ordered it dozens of times over three years. Tender lamb with hummus, fresh salad, rice, potatoes and bread. I've tried other restaurants for roast lamb and no one comes close to Babylon's unique combination of items, fresh ingredients, quick service, and great price. An exceptional value every time I order it. Open air seating makes for enjoyable people watching in the heart of downtown Vancouver's tourist attractions.“
“I had my birthday here yesterday for the second year in a row and the food is always absolutely delicious. I could bathe in the muhammara, everything I've tried is flavourful and authentic. Not only is the food excellent, but the family who run this place are very friendly, social, attentive and welcoming. I live in Chilliwack and love coming here with my family when I'm in town, I miss the flavours, spices and aromatics when I have to go back home. Highly recommend!“
