“Fathom Lounge located in the Hotel Grand Pacific is a great venue for after dinner relaxation & drinks. We stopped in on our way back to our hotel next door on the coldest night of the year. We arrived just as the DJ started spinning vinyl. The first song was a cover of an 80s tune done with a fusion beat which made us laugh. My companion ordered a Sazerac cocktail, a drink he hadn't tasted in 30+ years and it was to his liking. I asked the bartender for something hot and sweet and although is wasn't on the menu, he delivered a Peppermint Hot Chocolate, with a smile. It was delicious and warmed me up in short order.We enjoyed the tunes and the atmosphere for a couple of hours and after several enjoyable drinks, the one block walk back to our hotel seemed a lot less bone chilling. Next visit, we'll make time to have dinner in the restaurant.“
“I have a suggestion for the restaurant: You could easily improve the atmosphere by covering the pantry. When people come to the restaurant, their first impression would be better if they didn’t see all the stuff you have in storage. My initial thought was that we had come to an undefined place. So, an easy fix could change the atmosphere.“
“Fantastic budget meal with a home cooked style. It is 2/3 cost a dennys meal and way less greasy. I dont know why some idiots here complain this isnt some high end fancy meal when this is priced the way it is. You come here for a comfortable home cooked meal at a hreat price, thats what it is.“
“The food was super delicious, the soup was so crisp and fresh tasting, I love it. The katsu is so crispy and delicious and not tough at all. The takoyaki was great, crispy and hot! I got the loin set, and it was present nicely and had quite a bit of food. The bibimbap was very flavourful and yummy. Not a long wait, either. Staff was polite and quick with requests.“
“It's the best restaurant I've had in Quebec, the ladies are really helpful, they take care of their employees like they would their own child and the food is more impeccable, go take a look, you'll see how you get to know all the employees all the bees they are there to serve you with a big smile and it's really worth coming back to eat a good apple pie or other business since signing its really great are in front of a heart of gold“
“I saw The Fountain Diner ratings and went for breakfast brunch &We were 3 along with small kid, they told to wait for 15 mins outside then after 15 mins they told it will take more 10mins.I told server lady that I’ve small kid and she’s Cold outside can she stay inside ?she was like NO. Even though there was space inside which could accommodate the kids and some adults.What a cold hearted she must be or not sure if the rules of The Fountain Diner don't allow people if they are dying in cold.Once I was inside the male server & other female server(Faye) who served us were really polite & down to earth persons.I see Asian people like Indians have always soft corner and helpful when I was in Goa…I’ve been travelling around different countries.Parking: Parking can be done in near by plaza.Restaurant is not huge inside (approx. 17-18) tables insideParking is limited in front of restaurant & but lots of parking around the plaza“
“Food is great, but when we sat down at the bar area, the bar was covered in food crumbs and spills. The server actually ASKED us if we wanted the table wiped down. I would have thought that was a given. (She didn't wipe it down in the end). We ordered the food, and after it came, we had to ask for napkins and cutlery. She brought napkins and cutlery and just plopped it all on the table in front of us in a pile. We set our own place settings. What ever happened to professional servers in restaurants? Nice building, good food...servers could use some training. All in all, the server was friendly, and checked on us half way through. Nothin' beats a triple O burger ?“
“My sweety and I's ferry got changed over so we decided to pop in on a time schedule and had to be out within the hour. Jewelley helped us out the first time we went in and the second. She was very kind and charismatic and had a very sweet energy to her both times. She was attentive and payed attention, she was fast and efficient and did it all with grace. We got in and out with so many smiles in a great time. Good food, good drinks, great people and the best quality service.“

I must admit i do-not look approachable so ig i kinda asked to not be asked how im doing.while i had waited for the table to be cleaned, i made eye contact with a red haired server by accident who looked stressed and thought i was being pushy. She just said mumbling, "it'll be a moment" and rushed off.table was damp upon arrival, napkins had two small water spots. table and napkin dried within 5 min.server, Jade, was kind and perky, been workin' there for 3 years, so i asked for recommendations. which she responded promptly. i have bad experiences with servers being rude or whatever most of the time because of my youth and single man no tip idk... but she didn't judge for once.$8 expresso milkshake: tasted alright - the paper straw kinda sucked (i forgot my own metal straw at home) - came fast - not enuf substance for $8$20 mushroom burger + onion rings: came with coleslaw, was pretty good... i dont usually like mushrooms but this wasnt badits 12:10 now, finished my meal, milkshake stuff and plate was removed and have a box for my onion rings left over12:12 have the bill and the debit machine at my front but im paying by cash today like a chadBURGER RATING: 1.3(integer based rating where 0 is fast food)health and safety hazards:- leaving cloths on table (temporarily unattended)- chair on isle (tripping hazard)not bad, gave me hope“
“When I came to the restaurant, the staff was incredibly friendly. It felt like I was in a boutique restaurant. We ordered a chai and it had a lovely aroma definitely was made fresh, samosas the pastry was nice and flaky. It had a light seasoning on it very crispy, but not overcooked. The flavour on the inside was lovely and it was served with a red tamarind sauce sauce that was a little spicy. then I had goat biryani and chicken biryani the goat and chicken were so tender, not rubbery like most restaurants. The flavour was good. Gulab jamun the soft cake, texture, and the sweet of the sauce with rose water You could see the fresh spices they used now this was a total authentic experience. I will definitely come back again and again“
