“Wanted a nice vegan lunch and found this was a couple blocks away from our hotel (Strathcona). Food was amazing! The mushroom soup was the best I ever had and the Mac bowl makes me want to come back for more. Highly recommended. All vegan, gluten free, locally sourced ingredients. Everything we ate was crafted to perfection.“

“We visited again from Sask and did not disappoint! Amazing! Well worth the wait in line! I had the tuna on salad! And my husband had the halibut fish and chips with a side of the chowder. The chowder was his favourite. Still taking about it. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and very efficient! For the amount of people served and the small space we were amazed at how spotless the kitchen was. Highly recommend a visit here!!“

“A Drunken CPA I know went yesterday for dinner. Service (Michael) was fantastic. They were absolutely slammed. He said they do 400-450 people a night in the summer. You didn’t feel it though. No rushing you. Pacing was great for date night. Really good wine list to boot.

Highly recommend it for anyone who hasn’t gone.

Our waitress, Kate (sp?), provided exceptional service. She was affable, attentive, and very accommodating. When they state porkbelly and you get shaved roast porkbelly that is not seasoned and because it is thinner than their bacon super chewy and distracts from the other flavours of the dish which are okay. If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.“

We all loved the food and menu recommendations from the owner. Thank you for a lovely evening out. The food isn't super quick to the table, but hey, this is fresh cooked and it's not simple white spot food. So relax and enjoy the experience. Pretend you are in Thailand.“

“This has been one of the best Greek restaurants we’ve ever been to. From the food to the service it was amazing and done right! Would 100% recommend! We had the keftedes, moussaka, lamb shank, and ekmek and they were to die for! We ate everything off the plate, and our serve Dimitri was just the best!“

Of course the biscuits were exceptional and perfectly cut and toasted. I had the egg and bacon Sammy and added tomatoes and avocado. Perfect!!! Group of 6 all raved! A diverse, spread on a theme, and I'm not a gravy fan and it too was delicious. The special steak had homemade dips and stuff, and the vege was it was incredibly complex and yummy looking. I WILL BE BACK!!! The baked goods looked fantastic, but I'm so full!“

“Always great food. I had the warm olives, burger with truffle frites, and dessert. I normally don't like truffle oil since it tastes really fake and strong to me, but I'm happy to report that they were spot on. The burger was 10/10, great grilled taste. I also had the warm apple walnut cake with butterscotch sauce and cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Great meal and service.“

After eating out for a week into our trip, the food here was just what we wanted; homey and healthy. I went in with a friend who never tried Tibetan cuisine and they were impressed too!“

“Phillips is a brewery in Victoria. It's easy to get to and this part of town has parking available in plenty of spots. It's pretty big and has a few dozen tables inside plus an outdoor seating area. They have plenty of beers on tap plus canned ones as well, on top of a merch shop in the front. They have windows so you can view the actual brewery which is cool. The staff here are awesome, very friendly and fun to chat with. This is a solid spot to grab a beer with friends or even some food, which they have a decent sized menu with good portions for a solid price.“

“Tasmin was our server When we arrived, it was very busy, Tasmin seated us quickly in the "VIP" section which made my kids very excited. She was an absolute wonderful server, she was personable, funny and very knowledgable and helpful with the menu. She made our visit one of our favorite memories from our vacation. I would highly recommend this restaurant to families, it is a great atmosphere. Also, they offer a gluten free menu if you have dietary restrictions.
