Modern and full of light. Expensive (2 coffees and two slices of cake= $38). No service at all. You have to carry your stuff to your table when they call you, like at Starbucks. Patisserie is good, but very rich in butter and, as I said, very expensive. Tables are small and very crowded. When busy it becomes also super noisy, in spite of the high ceiling. Somehow very North American, not French.

Wonderful place for an afternoon after a beautiful walk along Ambleside, an absolute treat!The Pistachio Macaroon was excellent. Tiramisu lacked a bit of flavour, maybe just personal taste. Would love to try other desserts, they all looked amazing!It was pretty full on a Saturday afternoon, recommend allowing a bit of time until you can get a seat inside.
