“This Denny's is a little smaller than many locations. I thought we might have a wait being seated. But, nope, we were seated within a couple minutes. Our waitress came over shortly after and took drink orders then promptly returned and took food orders. Food came out really fast and I was pleased to see ample hash browns on each plate. Haha it's just that I've noticed Denny's, in general, has gotten a little skimpy with the hash browns. They would have been perfect if more crispy. Everyone enjoyed their food and we were quickly back on the road. I assume they mostly get travelers and appreciated all of the promptness. Bathrooms were also clean. I'd definitely stop here again.“
“Not a bad burger joint along the 395 hwy. The people were friendly and cheerful. The service was as it should be. Otherwise fairly unremarkable stop for grub.Parking: Plenty of room for a truck and trailer in the dirt lot next to the actual parking lot.“
“The portions and value of the food was amazing! Theresa was our waitress and was equally amazing. The restaurant is definitely off the beaten path but was overwhelmingly worth the trip out Route 66. I will definitely go here again and would recommend the Red Hen to anyone looking for delicious food, awesome service, and great value!“
“Such a wonderful diner! Very close to the freeway. Food was delightful, perfectly cooked and presented by a very friendly wait staff. The prices were VERY reasonable. More so than many fast food places recently. We each had their grilled Cod with mashed potatoes and gravy a SUPERB toast and assorted veggies. It also came with a scoop of ice cream or sorbet. This is a must visit when you are in Victorville or just passing through. We shall return!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. “Wow! My POPEYE omelet was phenomenal, they made my home fries on point and the biscuits and gravy were delish. It's a small place so the only annoying thing is that people insist on standing around inside near your table because its cold outside. We waited outside and in our car at ine point, WHICH IS THR RESPECTFUL THING TO DO. so to all those people: be more considerate to those who are trying to enjoy a meal without you hovering around lol.The service here is great! They are on top of their refills and are checking up on you in a timely manner.Love the diner vibe here.Parking: The lot is shared with other businesses so I can see some difficulty but we came on a busy Saturday morning and it was fine.“
“Decided to come in on a whim and so glad we did! We came around noon so it wasn't very busy. Our waitress Amy was so nice and accommodating. She welcomed us warmly and as it was our first time in she gave us great recommendations about the menu. My mom and I both got the fish&chips and they are so good! Fish is nice and crunchy, the garlic fries have a great flavor. Lots and lots of garlic. The tarter sauce was fresh made delicious. The manager Brock is very nice and friendly. Great place all around. Can't wait to come back for the live shows etc“
“I don’t usually like eating breakfast at any restaurant here in the HD because it’s alway super bland, every menu is the same, and there’s never turkey options for sausage or bacon. I was pleasantly surprised to see turkey bacon, turkey sausage, and plenty of steak options on the menu. I actually had a hard time deciding what to order. Wish I could rate the food higher but it was typical diner food with no seasoning. It’s the options that will bring me back along with their friendly customer service, cozy atmosphere, and mimosas.“
