I miss the former original Lucky 13 in the Castro district. Not sure if this is a "sister bar" or not yet the name is a draw for me.Different vibe. This December Friday night was moderately crowded, everyone was friendly.
I came from the valley to meet a friend here. He grew up in the neighborhood and knows a lot of people around the area, so I trust he knows some great spots, and this happens to one of them!

When I moved here from San Diego 2 years ago, I took a short walk and found this spot. Within moments, I was served by a great lady. Within 5 more minutes, I called her back over, introduced myself, and told her that I'd just moved here and that this was going to be my new spot.
