“I enjoy Boathouse and the small town vibes it gives. There is a chill atmosphere, they have good drinks and attentive bartenders (Janet + Christian). The only downside is that I don't enjoy when there is that guitar guy there randomly strumming songs in the background. They turn all of the music off and it makes it low key uncomfortable and really puts the vibe in an odd place. The guitar guy doesn't sing, he doesn't play entire songs and he doesn't even play songs that are fun/exciting/good bar vibes. This is an entirely too huge downfall because atmosphere and music in a bar play an insurmountable part in the success and continuity of business. I actually left when the man started playing his guitar again because it was honestly really odd and just put the whole mood. I will definitely return and I sincerely hope that I don't accidentally come on another night where this random man is playing his guitar at random parts of the night. I would literally walk out again if that happened haha. No hate to guitar man it's just weird that they shut off the entire bar music to let this dude strum his guitar in background. Also the kitchen was closed but they served select folks in the bar, which I was not one of and I was hungry. Hopefully they standardize the rules and entertainment. Cheers!!“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Celebrated a birthday at Ceron Kitchen in Alameda, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! The atmosphere was wonderfully inviting, setting the perfect tone for our celebration.First up, the wedge salad was a refreshing delight, perfectly crisp and flavorful. But it was the lobster fettuccine that truly stole the show – every bite was a burst of exquisite flavors, leaving us craving for more.A special shoutout to the exceptional staff, particularly our bartender Robert, whose warmth and expertise enhanced our experience. Robert's recommendations for wine pairings were spot on, elevating each course to perfection.Overall, Ceron Kitchen exceeded our expectations in every way. We'll definitely be returning for more memorable dining experiences!“
“When I moved here from San Diego 2 years ago, I took a short walk and found this spot. Within moments, I was served by a great lady. Within 5 more minutes, I called her back over, introduced myself, and told her that I'd just moved here and that this was going to be my new spot. They knew my name and what I drank in the first two weeks. I consider them all friends now, and when I move to Lake Merritt next week, it's this bar and it's staff I will miss most about Alameda. It's one of my top 5 bars ever in life, and that's a life that's gotten me to the age of 61, and has been to bars all over the planet in this lifetime. Absolutely fantastic bar.“
“Just out boppin around with my pal Allhans Ondek after spending the day on his fishing boat, looking for stripers, we were hungry and heading to the Speisekammer Restaurant for some Wiener Schnitzel. His boat, The Slippery Beaver, named after his ex-wife is moored in Alameda, and not too far from the Speisekammer Restaurant, Allhans tells me they prepare the best Schnitzel in the world! So, with a recommendation like that...I've got to go.And I'll tell you what...the Schnitzel was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Stepping into Clubhouse is like diving into a bubble of pure joy – 5 stars all around for its vibey atmosphere, impeccable service, and stellar booze selection! Cocoa, the heart and soul behind the bar (owner), truly goes the extra mile to ensure everyone's experience is top-notch, not to mention the spotless cleanliness. And oh, the parklet! It's the cherry on top, perfect for sipping your drink under the stars and mingling with the coolest crowd. Can't forget to shoutout to bartender Chris – her party was the talk of the town; absolutely legendary. Clubhouse isn't just a bar, it's a love letter to good times!“
“Can't go wrong with Happy Hours here! Ordered two personal pizzas - deep-dish and thin crust. The blue cheese flavor was kinda lacking, but it's happy hour price so not the end of the world here. Well cocktails are $7 so that's a steal too!Saw a vault on the way to the restroom.. what's that about?“
“This place is a go to, open pretty late good food and nice sized portions. The service is always good and fast. Usual orders are duck noodle soup or chicken pad see ew. Duck soup is never to oily and seasoned well.Pad see ew is flavorful with lots of chicken and veggies, not too sweet or saucy.Parking: Free parking lot in the shopping centerWheelchair accessibility: Accessible and welcome“
“Been coming here for years !!!! My go to is the Greek wings and original buffalo with half Caesar salad and fries !!!! Yummy ! Everyone is always so friendly service is always quick ! It's my comfort spot for any time of the day . It has a cozy home feel to it :)“
“Chill place to hang out. Has backyard seating in the back with the old McGrath’s sign and TV. Drinks are pretty cheap and they take card and cash.Parking: If you park across the street from the bar. Please do take great care crossing the street. The signs don’t have flashing lights and cars tend to speed around the corner.“
“We had Combo 2 Pho with a side of egg rolls. Our food was piping hot, the proportions were generous, and everything was well seasoned. The service was very kind too.Pho Nation stands out with its bar and music. Though this ambience isn't for me, the soup was worth the visit.“
“Went here for my birthday during the week. The spring rolls were a little overcooked, but the catfish appetizer was devine. The bouncing beef was incredibly tender and flavorful! The steak and garlic noodles were good too, but the portion was smallish. The price was great for what we got and look forward to returning.“
“Fireside Lounge in Alameda is pretty cool. DJ heats up Fridays, and while they might not have every drink under the sun, the vibe's solid. Dance floor’s always lit, plus open mic and art stuff keep it interesting. Not just a bar but a real gem in Alameda. Solid 4 stars from me!“
“Had the Butter Chicken ( Makhani ) the recipe was perfect. Not too salty, not under seasoned, just perfect. I also had the garlic Nan and Saffron Basmati Rice. The rice was cooked perfectly too, I love when it separates and not mushy, just perfect. ??“
“Not too impressed with the cocktail I got a Toki highball, not much to say it was flat no flavor. Had appetizer's only, the fries and chicharrones. Great value, well done and for the chicharrones a unique way to serve them with salsa. Needs more salsa. The place is a bit loud, low lighting as well. Staff was great.“
