“Taco Bell here has done some renovation and has hired better people. Ignore all the low star reviews, this Taco Bell has clearly gotten better as of 6/26/24 and the interior is now modern and clean

Vegetarian options: Great delicious options. I'm not even vegetarian, and I will still get a spicy potato taco or a cheesy been and rice burrito

Dietary restrictions: They offer clear labeling of sodium content and calorie count. There are clear options for people on a diet. And it's all delicious

Parking: Not too many spots, but there is usually a spot or 2 empty

“Do yourselves a favor and get some food from here. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Their cheesesteak hoagies are too addicting. My wife asked if I wanted her to pack me a lunch and was offended when I said no thank you ?. Aside from the food, the guy working behind the window (I imagine the owner) is just a genuine, down to earth guy - you can tell by just a 30 second conversation with him and his prices. They could easily charge 30-50% more but it seems he just genuinely wants to provide high quality food at the most affordable prices. Highly recommend“

“It's my favorite place said my pal Brandon Burg-Gate as we walked up to IB's Restaurant in Berkeley. We had just tuned the Spurtle and Squirt device over at the yet to open women's club.. The Campus Clambangers Club of Berkeley on Durant street. Hell, it's just two blocks from IB's, so I guess the girls will be flocking there for food between sessions. “I’ve frequented this place a lot since it’s literally two blocks from my apartment, but they’ve recently revamped the menu a bit and I have to say that apart from grilled cheese not being on the menu anymore everything else has stayed just as delicious if not improved on.

Great burgers and fries (crinkle cut!) as well as my go-to for deep fried anything (ie. Jalapeño poppers, onion rings, even pickles) - even when ordering delivery everything stays crisp vs going soggy.

This place satisfies my comfort food craving every time. The deep fried pickles are my jam.“

The cup of sauce that came with my bowl was barely enough to coat half, and I feel like I shouldn't need to order extra sauce just to have the salad bowl be dressed. Other than that I'm enjoying, I'll probably see what I have in the cupboard to coat the rest it to give it more flavor.“

I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. “This was back in 2010, and I never forget this moment. My friends and I had come in at what seemed to be closing time. We were all starving and had just taken the overnight bus back from San Francisco. The plan was to stay up and watch movies, but we didn’t have much choices on food. As we were walking up Dwight to go to our house on Benvenue, we saw that bongo Burger was open or seem to be open when we walked in the owner looked at us as if we had traveled many many miles. He was warm and welcoming, and even cracked a few jokes Not only was the food amazing for my first time ever having it, but he gave us extra fries, and we made sure that we gave him a very good tip. From that point on every football season, we made sure to get the bongo burger, breakfast special And go back and watch the games at the apartment. All I can say is that bongo Burger is a staple in college eating, and in Northern California burgers.“

Man, have they remodeled and really utilized their workers well with staffed touch screens for us easily frustrated elders over 40 ???? their janitorial staff is on top of it ??? and they by far are the quickest and most economical place to eat in the entirety of FiDi next to Harrington's Pub...
