101 Noodle Express is a consistently good, authentic Chinese restaurant located in the San Gabriel valley area of Alhambra. The menu offers a variety of delicious noodle dishes, including the popular beef noodle soup with hand-torn noodles and the eggplant and pork noodles in a light yet flavorful broth. Customers also enjoy the Dan Dan noodles, steamed and fried pork and shrimp dumplings, and the Yang chow fried rice and chicken chow mein. The dining area is clean and organized, although the restrooms could use some improvement. While the service can be a bit slow during busy times, the staff is polite and courteous. Overall, 101 Noodle Express is a great spot for Chinese family-style dining, with highlights like the shrimp and pork dumplings, stir-fried shredded pork with noodles, steamed mini pork buns, cheese beef roll, Shandong-style chicken, and hot and sour soup with pork.
