“This is a great little bar. Lots of beers on tap (50+) including many California craft breweries. Pool table inside. Great heated outdoor space. “I went to this brewery after work and met the love of my life! Jk jk but I had a really great time and the beer was very good. I’m not usually a beer drinker but I had two beers and they were very flavorful. The bathrooms were immaculate clean which I loved. The vibe was casual but also some people there for happy hour after work. I would go again!“
“So I've been wanting to come since they've opened. Today finally got that chance. I loved the designs in the walls and the colors throughout. We got a flight of beers to try them out. Pale ale, IPA, sour, and sweet and spicy. They were really good. All the ladies there were so kind and helpful. We had a great time. They played great salsa and Latin vibes kind of music. Felt like I wasn't in Pasadena. The manager Martin was really cool and I loved that he's been experimenting with all kinds of fruits . “We had a great time at Escondite, the patio is great, heated & enclosed enough to keep much of the weather from you. The interior reminds me of a few Seattle bars I've been to. Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. It seems to me designed for a low key band where patrons would enjoy the music from their seats. Well drinks are about $10 & this place seems to love Malort!“

“I was in the area after having tried Hop Secret beforehand, and thought i'd give this one a try as well since it was nearby. There weren't many people for a Thursday night, which I didn't mind. The beertender was nice and had a very friendly personality. She told us the story of how the brewery's name came to be, being as the owner studied geology. She made sure we were comfortable by checking on us often, asking if we'd like water, and even changed the channel to the Thursday Night Football game upon request. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.“

“Super friendly service here! The lady running the bar and register was chatty and fun and friendly. I tried their spicy vegan sausage and I liked that it was something they made in house. They have a few vegan hot dogs and you can choose your toppings. Tasted really good. Also got a yummy pretzel. I really recommend the chipotle aioli. Small parking lot available.“

“It’s ironically a local brewery to where in life in Georgia, but this nice hipster style brewery with a good choice of beers (some exclusively only available in CA) and incredibly friendly staff…much better than the sports driven bars nearer to the Crypto. I believe it’s only recently opened, so I wish them all the best….I just wished I discovered it last week when I arrived and not on my last day in LA.“
“This bar is my favorite hang. Karaoke on Thursdays is better than any spot in the city, any night. Bartenders are all friendly and quick with service. The smoking patio out back is very comfy and nice to chill at. And Dave does a custom kitchen service on peak days out back. Drink prices are very fair. The crowd that frequents this place is very cool, and very friendly. I can have a great time with great people for a reasonable price, any time. 10/10“

“It's really hard for me to give a full 5 stars. Creative cocktails? Check. Imposing whisky collection? Check. Loud music blasting so hard you have to shout your order to the bartender and shout to the person in front of you? Check.I feel like it's a ton of wasted potential. Disregard my inner cocktail nerd wanting to talk about alcohol with the bartenders but it's even hard to talk to the person sitting next to you.I'll probably try again tomorrow and update my review afterwards.All of that said, the drinks are very good so try it even if you end up just drinking them in silence.“
“Check this place out whether you're a professional or want to play for fun with family and friends! (All ages!) Pool tables are in great condition. It's CASH ONLY $7/hr for one person or $12/hr for two or more people on a table. This place looks a thousand times better after the remodel and has a very chill vibe. Loooove the lighting and portraits they have on their walls. Their hours may be a bit off because they're having issues with the city and a zoning code, as of now they're open 2pm-1am but I believe will start closing at 10pm in the near future (hopefully not for long). You can always call and ask ahead of time about hours or how busy it is. They have a few new lady bartenders that are very nice and provide great costumer service. Also, cue repair Monday-Wednesday with Jose. It starts getting busy at night so definitely stop by before 7:30pm to grab a table on time, you might get lucky anytime after or get stuck on the waiting list for awhile but you can always grab a beer or soda and play darts while you wait. They don't serve food but you're welcome to bring outside food and eat by the bar (no food by the pool tables). They also don't allow outside drinks but they do sell bottled water, soda, bottled beer and HOPEFULLY beer on tap once they finish repairing the taps. Overall, amazing place to have a great time and play some pool!“

“Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“
“I went to Beer Thug Brewing recently. I played a round of pinball on a Jurassic Park themed pinball machine. I thought the place looked decent, but it was a bit empty. There was a DJ playing music, but I thought the music was a bit too loud. I liked that there were music videos being streamed and projected on a wall. I liked that there was karaoke at one point.“

“I ordered the strayberry matcha latte(medium), the regular matcha latte(medium and large), kaarage, takoyaki, spicy tuna roll, tori soboro and a spicy mild tonkatsu. The meal came out really quickly and the food was delicious. I was suprised that the hard boiled egg was thinly sliced than into 2 parts. It wasn't busy at all and a pretty decent space to move around. Theres also outside seating as well as indoor ones. The kitchen is right in the open area and isnt closed off so you can see all the prep and food. The drinks had different milk options, I chose soy milk. In total before tip it was $78. They also had different merch like tote bags, t-shirts and more. I was tempted to get the desserts, but was unfortunately too full to try them.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres no 2nd floor so everything is ground level.“
