My hubs and I shared a chicken Burrito Mojado with salsa verde and their freshly made guacamole. Delicious! Miguel was the sweetest server :) He was so proud to practice speaking English with us. Highly recommend this place.“

“We loved this place for takeout! The cashier/chef was so attentive even though he was the only one working. He even gave us extra consommé. The toppings he included with our tacos were more than we even needed - homemade pickled onion, onion, cilantro and hot sauce. He even packed the dinner perfectly so nothing spilled and everything arrived at the right temperature. Definitely give this place a try!!“

“This was an amazing dining experience. Having worked in the hospitality and restaurant industry for decades it is thrilling to dine at a venue that is top rate. Flavors are extraordinary — the shrimp aquachile was spicy with perfect degree of acid; handmade tortillas with the short ribs were perfect; the short rib was so tender and favorful. John who was our server was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, professional, very helpful in navigating the very interesting menu. The specials associated with the Food and Wine Festival at the Disney parks provided lovely options to consider. Will be coming again and again“

“The food and service at Tacos Manuel was exceptional. We selected this restaurant based upon the reviews. We were in Anaheim on a family trip to Disneyland and we were staying in a local motel. We liked the food so much that we returned a second time. In between our two visits we eat at a local pizzeria and everyone commented on how we should have go for dinner at Tacos Manuel. If in the LA area again, we would drive out of our way to order another round of amazing burritos. Most excellent!“

“I really like this place. The food is good. The staff is friendly and efficient. It's a clean and well run establishment. There's a Disneyland theme throughout, with figurines, pins, Disney mouse ear displays, etc. It has self seating. You order at the counter, and they bring you your food. There's a serve yourself station for salsas. The eating area is relatively small but pleasant and well kept. You can order food to-go as well. Parking on the grounds is limited, but I haven't seen the lot get full. Street parking is also an option, but it could easily be hard to find a nearby space.

“We have been going to this rrestaurant since the 1980's. It was Don Jose for a long time and then it became Rodrigos. The food, service and surroundings are still just as good!! The food is amazing!! We will continue our tradition of going there as long as they're still there, which hopefully for all it will be a long time.“

“This place is like a taco truck a lit bit greasy but dang mommy knows her papusas. We met Nathan and he told us his mom went to church with a lot of Salvadoran ladies and learned from them. Got to love those church ladies they do make the best food!! My friend n i ordered the chorizo papusas and some carne asada n carnitas tacos. The papusas were excellent. My friend is Latino so to hear him tell me that the papusa was one of the best he ever had is saying a lot. The tortilas for our tacos were also homemade same with my horchata. The food here is yummy. As im writing this im kicking myself for not ordering a bunch of papusas to take home for the freezer. Nathan please tell your mommy thank you! “After reading many Nextdoor reviews and living around the corner being Labor Day granddaughter and I came back after many years. Don’t have any clue why the family did not go back except we had our favorite spots.

I ordered the wet carne asada burrito with cheese, beans, and sour cream AND w/o onions and cilantro. No problem. Granddaughter ordered chicken and cheese enchilada's with a red sauce adding rice and beans for sides. Both dishes were plentiful and delicious. Both took home half of our meal for later.

As we left, I asked the young lady what was her favorite. She responded chicken enchiladas and offered a suggestion for next time to order the enchiladas with mole sauce. I explained why we had come and that almost all posts on Nextdoor were 100% except for one that loved everything except for the chicken soup as it was missing potatoes.

SUGGESTIONS: if you want a certain sauce or vegetable in or on your dish…just ask for it. That is not a problem for them since everything can be made to order. If you want potatoes in your caldo, just ask for it or you can call ahead and let them know you are coming in. But, if you’re driving by and your car decides to turn into Julianna’s just let them know when you order. All veggies are not precooked, so you can let them know what veggies you are dying for and what to leave out just like I did with cilantro and onions on my green wet burrito.

So, Nextdoor enticed me to go back and we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meal and service. Just a heads up… no chips and salsa. Bummer, but again I didn’t ask?

I order one or two bean and cheese burritos along with some red hot sauce. One time I hadn't even finished ordering and they placed the burrito with said hot sauce with napkins in a bag next to the register. I'm a regular customer so they know my order by heart lol! It was a Saturday evening, and the only restaurant at the Garden Walk that didn't have a one hour or more wait to be seated for our party of four adults and two children. We were greeted and seated quickly. We sat on the patio, which was pretty good, given there was live music inside the restaurant. Not that it wasn't fairly loud outside, too. But, not as loud. We liked the selection of dishes. Prices were probably on par for the touristy area and restaurants in the vicinity. After placing our drink and dinner orders, we didn't have to wait too long to be served. The food was plates nicely and of decently large portion size. Flavors were good and the food was served at a good temperature. It was fairly chilly this evening, so the food cooled quickly. But, still delicious. Overall a good dining experience. If you're not into loud music, or somewhat boisterous happenings, then avoid this restaurant when there is live entertainment. We enjoyed the food and mostly enjoyed the atmosphere. The patio area does have some heaters for dining in the chilly evening.“

My girlfriend and I ordered the Alambres Kahlo (cheezy goodness I would get every time), Huarache de asada (tastes as good as it looks), and Emoladas de pollo (not pictured). Tacos are nicely priced and got some to go.Dining area is small (only about 24 people can fit inside), but still didn't have any trouble getting a table. I enjoyed the Spanish music choices. The quality of the food is better than some of the restaurants with a fancier atmosphere. Their salsas are spot-on and they go very well with their food. The incredibly beautiful server (someone please offer her a modeling opportunity*), was so nice and helpful in offering suggestions what is good. Look forward to coming back. Joe is an amazing person who works very hard to make the guests are happy and provides exceptional service with a smile. “Called and placed an order for pickup that was ready in just a few minutes! I got 2 enchiladas with beans and rice and a side of guac for around $20.

It was nice and hot, VERY well seasoned, and the peppers they gave added a nice kick! Salsa was nice and refreshing, and the side of guac portion was HUGE!

( "Mexican sandwich" ) They serve beers, cocktails, micheladas, etc. Open 24 hours in the anaheim blvd location. I have so many memories here and I've seen the business grow over time and the menu changed a lot. It has improved but also gone pricier.“
