“As always, the food is fresh, hot, and prepared with love. Giant pieces of fish and the best sweet potato fries around. The homemade tartar and ranch are always delicious.My ONLY bone to pick (no pun intended) is that the fish needs seasoning. It's always on the bland side. Do it a favor and give it a little old bay, or at least some salt and pepper.I love the cute decor and the people are unfailingly lovely. Definitely recommend ?“

“Ruel's is a hidden gem ?. Old fashioned bar with good folk. ? only drawback is they are only open Thursday through Saturday. Take the time to check it out, you will enjoy the people and the experience! Make sure you decorate a $1 bill and staple it to the ceiling or wall to commemorate your experience“

“We came here for our 18th anniversary. We called ahead and got reservations. When we arrived we were seated promptly. The staff was very nice and the pasta was perfect. I got the chicken pesto special and my husband got the shrimp scampi. After looking at the pictures online I was a little concerned about the portion sizes, they are much larger than they appear in the photos. I was very pleased and had some to bring home as well.“

“My husband and I decided to take a trip to Burney Falls and wanted a place to sit in and have lunch. We found this place on Yelp. Once we entered, Angela (I believe was her name) told us the kitchen wouldn't be serving dinner until 4:30pm and that we were more than welcome to grab a drink at the bar in the mean time. 10 minutes before dinner time she asked us what we would like so she can put the order in and have it ready by then. She was very welcoming and easy to speak to. She provided great hospitality for our first time at the restaurant. She definitely made our experience great. We tried the soup of the day and it was chicken noodle soup. I was convinced that it was from a can, boy was I wrong. The celery still had a crunch to it and was fresh! Then I ordered the cut of the day medium rare and it was seasoned well and was perfect. My husband and I didn't expect much but we were extremely satisfied and ordered food to go. We would definitely come here again.“

“This is hands down the best burger for the best price in Palo Cedro! I've lived and worked out here all my life and ate from every establishment out here. PCI has the absolute best quality burger you can get out here and all there other options are fantastic as well. They have an amazing staff who is friendly and quick to take care of whatever you need! I'd recommend PCI over any restaurant in Palo Cedro no questions asked! “The Dip is one of the better bars/places to hang out at in Redding. I'm from the Bay Area and used to enjoy going to shows pretty frequently. The Dip has been suiting my needs because they host a variety of bands (reggae, jazz, metal, bluegrass, hip hop, etc) as well as a lot of different types of events like drag shows, trivia, silent disco, karaoke, etc. The staff there are all super friendly and lively- and their drinks are great, what more can you ask for!“

“What a cool place to grab a beer or glass of wine. A chill atmosphere that wasn’t pretentious. Did not try the charcuterie board but if I can make my own I’ll try next time. “I always try and stop in to get a beer whenever on in the area. The employees are always super friendly and they have a great selection of beers on tap. They also have a nice little cooler filled with beers you can’t usually find anywhere else in town as well. Highly recommended.“

“Been there only one time but was very impressed!! Will go back in again.Was very impressed at how clean the fish tanks were!! Means the rest of the place is probably just as clean?? Loved watching them!! Ordered the deep fried mushroom, there were Okay for frozen mushrooms!! My only complaint is a few costumers that have only a 4-letter vocabulary, at the top of their voice, for everyone in the place to hear!!!“

“Place is always pretty clean, they just added more TVs inside as well. Only thing to play is pool and music, only one table tho. No food options besides some chips and free popcorn. Bar tenders were changing a lot but seem to be sticking around now so seems nice to know the person who is serving your drinks.“
