“Had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was amazing. The bun didn’t fall apart despite the burgers medium rare (cooked to perfection) juiciness and had a great sirloin yumminess too. Entire staff was super friendly, there’s a super welcoming family atmosphere here with free arcade and clean bathrooms. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend!Oh and the pizza’s amazing too!!Would love it if they were open later on the weekends though…Kid-friendliness: Free arcade! Bring the kiddies!“
“The food was delicious. But the customer service and hospitality is unmatched. Sherry was an amazing hostess and everyone in the store made us feel welcome (even though we walked in less than an hour before close) 10/10 would do again and recommend wholeheartedly. Honestly the most amazing service and food 1242536/10 love it.“
“I regularly order pizzas from this place because they are less expensive than others in the area, and even though they're new menu doesn't have exactly the same pizza that I used to get, they will still make that same pizza for me if I request it“
“It used to be called Mary's Pizza, and now it's Charlew's Tap House. I met the owner himself, and we had a nice chat about his grandmother and his family. He said that, like me his family was born and raised in California. He's really nice guy. The service is excellent, The ambience is really nice. They have private booths, large tables, and, you can also just sit at the bar and watch them Make a pizza. He told me that whenever I wanted he would make me the best pizza I ever had. I believe it. I usually get the spaghetti with a giant meatball à la carte on the lunch menu and it's very reasonably priced. Also delicious. Probably the best Italian food I've ever had in this area, or possibly anywhere else in short of The i-80 truck stop in Iowa, The world's largest truck stop. There's a family-owned restaurant there that had the most delicious lasagna I've ever tasted, but now that I've had it at this place, it's no longer the best I've ever had. I recommend this restaurant to anybody. and everybody“
“I've been to Players about 100 times, having started going after football and basketball officiating meetings at Anderson high school since shortly after they opened. Something local pizzerias often miss on is consistency. Players doesn't. I've been there when the owners are in and when they aren't, and the food quality is the same. Bravo, as I've seen this go the other way too often. The pizzas, sandwiches and calzones are really, really good. (Try the stuffed crust option). They have a good selection of craft beers and their prices are very reasonable. They have partially separate and totally separate meeting room as well as a children's play area which is somehow soundproofed. (Really nice). If you are looking for a place to watch football, basketball or baseball, they have big-screen tv's on 3/4 walls. It's worth a drive from Redding or Cottonwood, and it's a no-brainer if you live in Anderson!“
