“Where do I begin. As soon as you walk in, you get a warm smile like a hug from Carmelita! The place looks really high end and the ambiance is extremely welcoming and calming. They know what they are doing and I wish them the best of success. We are forever customers now. When we sat down, Carmelita, explained everything about the menu, what is great, what she loves, what is popular, and what she thinks we like. We ended up having a Cesar salad, and 2 pizzas ( names under pictures). From the first bite, my eyes closed, and it was bliss. The dough was light and airy, the crust was full of flavor, and each bite takes you to another world. They know what they are doing and we met the chef to thank him for what he did. They have other styles of pizza so we are definitely coming back for the Detroit style deliciousness. Thank you for the delicious food, hospitality, and overall experience.“

“The best bread bowl I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. Literally what bread bowl dreams are made of and I don’t even dream of bread bowls like that. I heard good things about this place so I placed a delivery order with them and omg I can’t wait to go back. I got the creamy chicken pesto bread bowl and ooof it hit the spot. It’s delicious cheesy pasta stuffed in a garlicky soft cushiony roasted bread bowl. What more can you ask for. I can’t speak on the service or ambiance since it was only delivery but their food made its way to my heart.“

“Went for the first time for our 33 anniversary. The services and food was amazing. The focaccia bread and butter were extraordinary. Even the Butter was awesome, creamy and best we've had. The beet salad was a piece of art, both to the palate and to my eyes. Tomato onion soup was outstanding. The entrees of scallops were good but the duck confit casserole was incredible. Perfect portions. Water glasses never got to half empty. Great experience and staff made it very special. Thank you to all of the Waterboy staff, made the night special.“

“I guess it's time for an updated review. They are not even in the same location as the first time I reviewed, so staffing and some of the things I didn't like really don't apply. The breadsticks and salad are still the best and well as their ranch. I did try the pizza again recently and it was better than I remembered. They definitely DO NOT skimp on the toppings. All around this is a solid place to come eat.“

We took her suggestion and placed our order. 1 pepperoni, one margarita, garlic parm wings, and meatballs. Everything tasted great. “Wow! We were impressed. Our waitress (I believe Shannon) was super friendly and fast to refill all the drinks and clear the tables. Appetizers came out quickly and these were by far the best wings anyone at the table had ever gotten from a restaurant (garlic buffalo flavor). We ordered one deep dish and one regular crust pizza and the deep dish was good, so was the mushroom thin crust! Another insignificant thing that we really loved though was the amount of cherries in the Roy Roger’s! A lot of restaurants don’t give you even one, if you’re lucky you’ll get one cherry in the first one. They gave us 3-4 cherries in each Roy Roger’s. Excellent kids meals too, homemade pasta or personal pizzas. Definitely winners. Would 100% recommend the food, the service, everything!“
“Good food - we had pasta dishes. Pretty pricey for what it is ($20+ for a vegetarian penne dish which is really MAYBE 1.5 servings). Ambiance is very cute and Italian inspired. They were understaffed during our visit but managed. The drinks are a good value - you basically get two drinks for the price of one.“

“Matteo's Pizza & Bistro is a lovely classy restaurant that has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining area. I especially love to come here on warm summer nights and sit outside with the hanging bulbed lights, water wall and lush vegetation surrounding the outdoor patio area. It's wicked pleasant. Their menu is a good size and they offer specials and change up dishes based on whats in season. I really like their pasta dishes especially. This visit I hot the scallops and they were summer yummy and sliced like butter. I also got to try the salmon tacos which were good and satisfying and their roasted beet salad. That reminds me, I love their salads too. They also sell wine and if there's a wait it's fun to wander around their wine display and check out the different labels. Wonderful servers too and host. The server makes your cocktails (apparently only on weeknights) I thought it was cool because they had some good knowledge . Our server was attentive; the food came out quick and was excellent. I had the chicken marsala , my son had the Seasonal Shrimp Pasta; we also had bruschetta, Brussels sprouts and the meatball appetizer which was also fantastic. We had a 3rd person in case you were thinking these guys eat a ton. Thethe craft cocktails were spot on and I'm still amazed the server could still offer such great service while making drinks, delivering food and keeping us entertained! I certainly recommend this place for a quality meal and look forward to their summer seasonal specials.“

Took less that 10 min, paid $14 for 2 mammoth slices and a glass bottle coke. Huge Slices, great flavor, maximum cheese stretch, great seasoning in the sauce. The other reviews are correct that the sesame seed crust alone is reason enough to go, but it's also one of the best BBQ chicken pizzas I've ever had (and I've had a lot).
