The other reviews are correct that the sesame seed crust alone is reason enough to go, but it's also one of the best BBQ chicken pizzas I've ever had (and I've had a lot). I love that it's locally owned and they are always so friendly!“

“I moved to antelope in 2020 and this was the first place I ordered food from, there food quality was great and there foil wrapped chicken is the best I have ever had!! All in all I probably go here 2-4 times a month and there always are consistant with great food and quality, also there prices are great and I feed my family of 4 for usually under $40 which is pretty hard to do these days. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been here b4.“

“Nice vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a great selection of food. I got Aloo tikki chaat and Veggie tikka(Kofta) with rice. Aloo tikki was made freshly and had chickpeas and mint and sweet chutney on top which tasted delicious. Veggie kofta gravy was pretty good, kofta itself could've have been slightly better. The portion size are decent and pricing is reasonable.“

“Literally my favorite pizza place of all time. Now that I have found this place I will never go anywhere else. I have a sensitive stomach when it comes to pizza and this is the only place I have found that seems to do just fine with my stomach. They have great pricing, excellent service, always on time with delivery. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.“

“The food was absolutely wonderful!! I am from Texas City Texas I can to visit my sister . We ordered a little bit of everything. I seen the owner taking pride and preparing the meals . They handed the food very nicely. My Brussel sprouts was the best !! Never had them like this . The meatloaf was well seasoned . My Mac and cheese was great ! I am picky and this food has me wanting me to ask my sister to mail me a plate next day through the mail . Keep up the amazing work ! I hope to see this place in my city one day .“

“Cute little burger place, smaller than I remember, but it's great they have nicely covered outdoor seating. My boyfriend and I had business in Carmichael to attend to, so we stopped there on our way home. Delicious and filling burgers cooked to order. He had fries and I had onion rings. Both portions of fries/rings were a bit skimpy, they could have thrown in a few more of each to balance things out.Repeat? We live in Davis now, so if we're in the area it's a definite maybe.Wheelchair accessibility: Bit of a tight squeeze in there with my walker.“

“I'm sitting here dreaming of eating a Caring Kitchen cookie so I thought I'd leave a review. Everything here is great, but do yourself a favor and buy (at least) one of every cookie because, WOW! The texture is exactly what you'd imagine the perfect cookie to be, and it's consistent every single time. The rotating flavors are always amazing. Even if you don't have to eat gluten free or vegan for health reasons, you'd still be blown away by all the items here! I live over an hour away and it's worth the drive. After I finish my treats I immediately start plotting my next trip. I hope they never leave.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free and vegan!“

“This is an absolutely wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The quality is more fine dining and both the seating inside and the patio are lovely. They don't rush you out, so we had a family birthday party and everyone could hear each other and we didn't feel like we had to hurry up and eat. It is the birthday lady's favorite restaurant - wish there was another one in Elk Grove! food is consistently excellent and service is considerate, if a bit slow due to perceived understaffing. Trying to catch them on the phone is a challenge. I literally called back the minute I saw a missed call and no one called me for a week to respond to my message. Then when they did call and I missed the call I again called back immediately and it again went straight to an answering machine and I got no call back from my message to clarify their inquiry. So I was not sure what we were going to encounter when we arrived. I thought maybe a trainee was making the calls but it turned out to be a manager, so I'm confused by the phone thing. It created some stress because it was a BIG birthday party and I wasn't sure what the no response meant. Sorry to be picky but it did scare me.“

“First time in, was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this place. Been vegan for 8 years and usually don't favor gluten free but I will definitely be coming here again. The strawberry cheesecake donut was DELICIOUS and the French toast one was pretty good too. The panini was smaller than I thought it'd be but still really tasty. The service was great, Mariam was super patient with all my questions since it was my first time in and helped me navigate the menu. Ollie helped me out when I decided to get a few more donuts to go and was also very friendly, also saw her go out of her way to help open the door for a man in a wheelchair. Overall love the food and the service, definitely worth trying if you're in the area.“

“Valet parking included with dinner. Service is professional. We were asked if we were attending an event this evening to ensure the pace of our meal was appropriate. With a reservation at 5:30 pm the large booth we requested was available. My wife ordered a lettuce wedge which included many bacon cubes, added a baked potato, and filet. The filet arrived as requested cooked medium rare and hot. This is the first time I ordered the hamburger with all the classic trimmings including fries. The patty was perfectly cooked, flavorful, moist and hot. We enjoyed the recommended Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Bell Gloss. We thought the dark chocolate gelato was exceptional. I recommend Dawson's and believe you will enjoy dining here.“

We were absolutely stoked to see an Ethiopian restaurant so close to us we took the vegan for two meal to go along with veggie sambusas, iced spice tea, and the house honey wine. Portions looked perfect, until we were stuffed and it looked like we hadn’t even made a dent! No complaints about leftovers! Spice level was perfect, and everything was so flavorful. They gave us tons of injera to eat everything with. Like other reviewers, I was not prepared for just how good the tea was going to be. Words don’t do it justice, I would stop by just for tea. The honey wine is really good, especially with the food. However, it’s not like any mead I’ve had; it was a little vinegary, which I kind of liked. Probably not for everyone though. I went with the butter chicken, hefty helping served over rice with a decent size side salad for like $11. “Second time at Ella. Ordered the beets salad that was oh so delicious and the crispy fried chicken also good. Two issues 1. slow service: wanted to eat the protein with the salad which the server was informed of. However, there was a 15 minute if not more time difference between receiving the salad and the chicken. I could not wait on the chicken so started eating the salad which meant by the time the chicken arrived all I had left to eat was the chicken which was not cool. The goal was to have my veggies and protein together. 2. Ordered asparagus to accompany the chicken and it never arrived. Note, the server apologized profusely and even sent the manager over who also repeatedly apologized stating she sent the asparagus over to our table but inadvertently given to another table. To make up for the asparagus the manager offered dessert on the house which we accepted. My colleague chose the strawberry cake which was yummy and I had the plate with 2 macaroons , 2 pieces of chocolate and 2 pieces of a sugary....(can't recall name) but it was good. Would I recommend Ella - absolutely with the caveat that sometimes you may encounter slower service when the restaurant is packed. This was on a Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m.“
