“The service could not have been any nicer. So pleasant. I drove quite a ways to get here, and I was not disappointed. Finally something exciting and refreshing instead of the same old flavours. I had the black sesame cheesecake, and a chocolate Hong Kong cookie. I had never had anything like it before. I really hope this place keeps doing well, because the food is really special.“
“A humble, unassuming, little donut shop run by the sweetest people. We've come here fairly often for the massive hot breakfast sandwiches that come with a free coffee. (Great prices compared to Starbucks down the street btw). There's a lot of options and I've enjoyed everything I've had here so far. The coffee can be caffeinated or decaf. The creamers are stored to the side with ice packs. There are other drinks in a fridge and snack options to the side of the register. The blueberry donut is really good. I've also enjoyed their custard filled donut which was full of custard. If you order a ham and cheese croissant, they cut it in half and heat it up for you, which is a nice service. The cheese inside is really good. The interior is pretty small, but there's some seats if you want to sit down and have your breakfast. We always get ours to go. On our most recent visit they were having a fundraiser for their friend that perished in the Monterey Park shooting. So glad to have this staple in the neighborhood and to have a small business to support! Highly recommended little breakfast spot :)“
“The best breakfast I've had in a while. Super fresh and tasty. Super friendly staff, convenient location, street parking and parking lot in the back. Lots of really delicious stuff to choose from. And don't get me started on their pastries! It's an experience of it own. Great coffee. Non-dairy milk variety is available. Reasonable prices. Loved it!“
“Had a great experience picking up a last minute gift for a friends birthday! Jackie helped me pick out the green tea cheesecake and was super helpful and friendly. The cheesecake was really delicious, really light and perfectly sweetened with the right amount of that matcha flavor.Definitely coming back!“
“This is the best donut shop HAND DOWN. All the donuts are great and the worker is very friendly. I have gone there for many years and it never disappoints. I like coming here with friends and they all love it. Anybody who wants a quick donut should come here.“
“I came out in here out from the rain on a Sunday afternoon trying to get in a little walk. Unexpectedly, there were a ton of people shopping and going about their business, but one place that caught my eye was a little café at the top of the stairs, Sunmerry Bakery. I noticed they had a good selection of drinks so I decided to have a Boba so since it’s been a while. I went for the honey tea since that’s what I usually like as a regular hot drink, but decided to go outside my comfort zone. Everyone was really friendly and there was no line. There were plenty of pastries and delicious looking breads, but decided against it since I’ve been working out lately. I got my drink and she gave me that thick straw that punches through the plastic which I find so satisfying. Soon as I took a sip, there was a large back up at the bottom of the cup and couldn’t get anything. I blew out the straw and got a nice sip of that honey tea which is also delicious. Once I got my sea legs back, I was drinking up the Boba. It was so good. There’s definitely a process to this. I found them a little bit on the chewy side, but it just made them last longer. I’ll be definitely be coming back here more often for the friendly service and a little dry time if it’s raining.Parking: Mall parking outside, garage parking too.Kid-friendliness: It's in the Arcadia Shops, order at the front counter, ;ots of kids with their parents come here.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible. The store is at the mall upstairs, elevator access around the corner from the store.“
“They've got great deserts. The ingredients are fresh and the flavor is well balanced. I drove 30 mins here and it was totally worth it. To be honest this is one of the best I've had in LA.太特么好吃了,我日你妈,都给我来买“
“Hands down one of the best egg custard in Arcadia (626) area. They have the original and Portuguese style egg custards. Can't go wrong with either. I prefer the Portuguese custard. It has a little more depth. The custard is slightly creamier, and the crust has a flakiness to it.“
“Family love Cathy's bakery and I don't usually carry cash so I never come in here for their baked goods. But I placed an order over the phone for crispy cake and came to this location for the first time since I live nearby. Family all raved about how fresh and delicious the crispy cake was from this location. It was the best crispy cake we've had from either locations so that earns it a 5 star in my book. Cannot vouch for anything else but definitely worth it if you are a crispy cake enjoyer.“
“This location is inside the Santa Anita Mall. The mall is typically busy and there is a lot of foot traffic and noise. Their store is near, but not inside the food court. Consequently, you do need to park and go inside the mall to make a purchase in person. Most of the complaints for this location in other reviews had to do with poor customer service and not the food quality. Consequently, if you are willing to deal with potentially rude or indifferent employees to get your Cinnabon fix, then you will take your chances here. On our visit, the lady who took our order was actually polite and we had no problems like several others have reported. We got the classic Cinnabon roll. I cannot speak to the freshness because I broke it in half and saved it for breakfast for the nexttwo days. However, it still tasted good reheated. Cinnabon is pretty sweet and has a lot of calories in it, but it is great for an occassional treat. The 2.5 star Yelp average needed to be interpreted by the typical ratings fast food places get on Yelp. For fast food 2-3 stars is pretty normal, 3-4 stars less typical, and 1-1.5 stars means you should avoid it. Very rarely if ever will a fast food place get a 5 star average on Yelp. Consequently, the 2.5 Yelp average means this location is not bad for fast food and you should give them a try, especially if you have never had Cinnabon before. However, we recommend sharing cause they are so high calorie.Tips: (1) Park in the parking garage at the back of the mall near the race track or in the lot by the food court entrance to get closer to Cinnabon. (2) Be patient, service might be bad at this location. (3) Share your bun, they got a lot of calories in them.“
“When I want a nice cup of coffee in the Arcadia area, this is my go-to 85c. I like that I can customize the sweetness in the sea salt coffee. I haven't found another coffee place nearby that has better-tasting coffee. Today I went to redeem their Feb offer of free bread when buying a coffee. I enjoyed both.“
“My daughter and I wanted to check out the 99 Ranch market and then started to look for food to go. Much to our surprise, this bakery was across the market. This place was very spacious and the ambience was very warm. The size of the pastry were pretty big compared to 85C. Plus, they were very generous with the shredded pork that was either in or on top of the pastry and it had the right sweetness. Their pastry definitely had the wow affect in appearance and taste. All of the pastry were delicious and well made. The jalapeño hot dog was more on the salty side. We debated over getting the egg and ham sandwich which was the best decision ever. It was well proportion with all the ingredients. The bread was light, fluffy with a sprinkle of sweetness. Also, they had cakes and hot food to go. The staff was friendly and provided fast service. There might be a wait but this place is worth checking out and I highly recommend it.“
“The Stawberry Gateau is delicious! Good if you want something not too sweet. Just wish they'd cut the strawberries on top in half for easier sharing and consumption!! Workers were friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely go again.Current favorites:Strawberry Gateau Cake (not too sweet or creamy but still soft and delicious!)Soft Melon Cream Bread (very sweet but good once in a while)“
“Came to this location in the mall after a big dinner in the area. Wanted to satisfy our sweet tooth and the service that Hank provided enhanced our experience and enjoyment! He took his time with us even though we arrived near close and gave us some great suggestions. Thanks Daniel!“
“My first experience with Lady M was last month when my SIL was visiting and stayed in Santa Monica. She went to the one on the west side and got me a slice of chocolate cake. Had never heard of them before. The cake was good and came in a fancy bag. It was very light and mousse like. Reminiscent of Phoenix Bakery or other Asian bakeries. Fast forward to yesterday when my bf and I were waiting to be notified of seating at CPK at the Arcadia mall so we walked around and stumbled upon Lady M. Decided to get the strawberry shortcake. It was $10 for a slice so pricey, we thought. It was good however and again reminded me of Asian baked goods.“
“Came here to try their Pan de Elote and their Chocolate Cake. The Pan de Elote was amazing - specially topped with ice cream! The Chocolate Cake was too dense and sweet for my liking but definitely coming back for their Pan de Elote! They have their own lot so parking was easy for us.“
