Baking With Ish Bakery •

“I had the most delicious pastries here. The pies are insane. As are the buns and muffins . Sure it's a bit pricey but this is a small business that needs major volume to drop prices. Ish is amazing and passionate about his treats - it really shows!! loves it.“

“Check out this adorable Pokémon cake! I have had the pleasure of indulging in Fortune Bakery for many years and it never disappoints. This two tiered creative cake had mango strawberry marble cake with custard for the bottom layer and vanilla with chocolate mouse for the picky kids who don't like fruit in their cake. As you can see it was demolished and it was very good! The figurines were provided by the customer and the bakery displayed them on the cake.“

“I'M GONNA KEEP EATING CAKE, UNTIL I CANT FIT IN MY COWGIRL BOOTS!!!Good Lord, I can't believe I've never heard of this bakery!!!My husbands family was having a small 83rd birthday party for his uncle. His aunt showed up with a couple of boxes filled with 12 slices of various sins (see photos)!!! They were delicious! I was feeling guilty for giving in and partaking in consumption of one of these sins (Blue & Black Berry Cake). It was worth EVERY CALORIE!! As a matter of fact, I believe eating this slice is giving my family and friends a gift, by giving them more of me to love! Also if the saying "You are what you eat" is true, then I'm becoming pure sweetness! YOU'RE WELCOME, FAMILY AND FRIENDS!Can’t wait to visit the Chino Hills Location! It’s near my office!!!“

“Cakes are moist and tasty. Especially this place is known for their durian cake. I typically order the chocolate cake with strawberries for my guests and they love it. Overall, any of their cakes are great. Sweetness level is perfect. Even the outside cream is delicious (typically I would throw away the outside cream whenever I eat cakes because it is too sweet, but the outside cream from this bakery is perfect and tasty).“

“My aunt got these cakes for Christmas and I was obsessed with how cute they are! Don't be fooled by their appearance these cute dainty cakes taste just as intriguing as they look. My favorite was the hazelnut chocolate crunch and the coffee hazelnut macaroon tart! I really wanted to love the strawberry cheesecake but it wasn't any of our favs.“

IFT Bakery Bakery • $

“This my go-to place for Taiwanese mooncakes and eats. Their mungbean style mooncakes are flakey on the outside with a savory/sweet inside. When you buy 6 pieces, they'll neatly arrange the mooncakes for you in a gift box and also a gift bag for easy gifting (or just eat it yourself at home, we won't judge!). Though the pastries are the stars of the show IMO, you can't go wrong with anything you eat there. Absolutely pop into IFT Bakery if you're in the area!“

“Phenomenal vietnamese sandwiches. The pate is delicious and what also helps perfect the sandwich. Service is great. The only thing that would make it better is if they had tables to sit and eat right there. Regardless it's my go-to for banh mi sandwiches.“

“This past weekend i needed a birthday cake but didn't get to order early, so I called to ask if they have any cakes at the evening around 6 PM, a young Chinese girl answered the call and explained to me exactly flavors and size of the cakes that they already made and can be bought in store as well as the flavors that could be ordered and picked up in only 20mn. She seemed young but she explained better than many cashiers at cake shops that I had come in the past. I could feel her passion in job :) When brother and I got there, we got to understand the freshness of the fruits in the cake and the quality of the cake just by listening to the little girls explanation, because she also had try those truths and key during the making process of the day, so that was really helpful for us to know which cake and fruits to pick as fruits that are out of season were a little sour. We got tiramisu, 6 inch, and it was perfect for 7 people at home to celebrate brother's birthday. I thought that the little girls explanation was important, and customer service was great. The cake was beautifully made and reasonable price will definitely save this cake shop for my future birthday celebration!“

Mom’s Bakery Bakery • $

“This is a bakery that serves Hong Kong pastries and buns. There's a wide variety of selections to choose from. There are buns with cream and custard and others with sausage. We came in the late afternoon so a lot of the selection was empty and I don't think they restock at that hour. It's pretty standard pastries. They're soft bread. Unlike shops in Colorado, the pastries are huge. They're all pretty inexpensive as well. The eggtarts do fall apart easily when he heated them up but still tastes good. Nothing is too sweet. It's like an easy light breakfast bread when you're in a rush or need to pack something to eat for a road trip.“

“The ladies are always nice when I visit and everything is good. I really like the curry bun, baked cha siu bao and pineapple custard buns especially. I've gotten the tins of shortbread cookies with various animals as gifts for my mom before. They're so cute. Had the best mooncake of my life here. Pretty expensive, I think it was $6 and was only about 3 bites! But wow, was it good and an adorable panda shape. It was strawberry yogurt filled. Perfect mini size as a small gift or to try various types.“
