“I had a great time celebrating my birthday at Benihana's in Arcadia. It took a little long before we were assigned a chef, but once he came out, our chef Servando was fantastic! He was very funny, friendly, and gave us an amazing show! He was also very attentive. Whenever anyone at the table needed anything, he made sure to get it taken care of immediately. My dad had food allergy issue and Servando went above and beyond to accommodate him. I especially enjoyed all of his hilarious jokes and when he would throw things into the air with his spatula and catch them in his hat. The little chicken stuffed animal hidden in his hat was a nice bonus! Our experience would not have been as fun without his infectious personality. Most important if all, the food was cooked to perfection! Thank you Servando for making my birthday special!“
“This is a very casual place. My son recommended this place for lunch. This is the first visit and it was culinary experience for me. The food was served on an iron hot plate, this method of cooking keeps the food hot. I had the eel with rice and added an egg to the order. The food was absolutely scrumptious. This is a must when in SoCal.“
“The food is great!! Been going to Shoguns for 24 years now! Have seen all the ongoing changes to the restaurant but the food always was great! Love the shrimp, teriyaki chicken & steak, fried rice. We like to add the chile paste to the pink sauce The best servers are Rika & Stephanie! They're very friendly & welcoming. Chefs Anton, Daniel, Suki & Tri are awesome chefs. Food favorable“
“If I could give this restaurant a 7/5 I would. This is probably one of my favorite. I ordered the lobster and steak with noodles and it's so yummy!!! Lobster cooked to perfection. Most places I've been to overcook the lobster. Highly recommend!!!“
“My coworker and I ordered the filet hibachi, and it was incredibly tender and delicious. The rest of the food was great too—the meal came with vegetables, a few shrimp, white rice, and I purchased a side of udon noodles and upgraded to the fried rice. I would recommend coming here if you're itching for some hibachi, and all of the food I ordered was fantastic. Overall, my experience was on par with what I'd expect from a typical hibachi restaurant. The filet was even better than expected. I would note that the chef was nice and did the stereotypical tricks, but was a bit uninspired (may have been due to the fact that only 4 of us were at the table, and 2 of the customers were not paying much attention). The prices are a bit steep, but the filet is worth it. My coworkers had suggested the filet, and now I know why!“
